Abstract

This study aims to identify and obtain information about the effectiveness of the implementation of online lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic at Higher Education Institutions, especially President University. Data was collected by looking at the results of student satisfaction assessments of lecturers during the teaching and learning process, namely in the PUIS (President University Information System) system in the "Lecturing Evaluation" menu. The research used quantitative methods and data analysis used SPSS version 21 software. After the data were analyzed, the researchers conducted online interviews with 12 (twelve) lecturers. The results of this study are that there is a significant difference in satisfaction between offline and online lectures, namely, when offline class students can get knowledge directly without any technical constraints and face-to-face teaching and learning process there are values ​​that can be taken such as the process of social, cultural, ethical maturity. and morals that can only be found in the area of ​​education. In contrast to online lectures, apart from technical problems such as the unsupported internet, online classes also make students lose motivation to study because no chemistry can be built. There are different characteristics in each faculty, this is a challenge for lecturers to explore their abilities and provide new knowledge, and of course, it can be well accepted by students. Online classes will run more effectively if both lecturers and students live it with a sense of responsibility.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the different forms of translanguaging utilized in general English classes at a university in Karawang, while also exploring the students' attitudes toward the use of translanguaging in the English language classroom. The primary research objective is centered on the types of translanguaging employed in the general English classes at a university. Furthermore, the study aims to ascertain the students' perceptions concerning the application of translanguaging in their general English language learning. This research employs a descriptive qualitative analysis as its methodological approach. The results revealed that a teacher used code-switching to assist students in understanding complex English language concepts. Additionally, the teacher frequently applied translation patterns in general English classes. As for students' perspectives, the findings suggest that the use of translanguaging can enhance their comprehension of the English language when presented by their teacher. Ultimately, this research argues that the implementation of translanguaging strategies by educators is particularly advantageous in augmenting students' comprehension of English language skills within the classroom setting.

Abstract

Study this aim is to know how big an influence there is a free lunch to interest buy repeat consumers at Mitra Sedekah Store. Data were collected with a method spread questionnaire in the form of Google forms to consumers through Whatsapp Group and Facebook Mitra Sedekah account, successful data was collected from as many as 214 respondents. The method used is quantitative, then data analysis using SPSS version 26 software with assumption test classic namely normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and testing hypothesis in a manner partial (t). Research results are No there is a significant influence there is a free lunch to interest buy repeat consumers at Mitra Sedekah Store. Not all shops give matter like that, consumers consider matter thereby unique and interesting. Then the results study descriptive concluded that products in Mitra Sedekah Store quality, the choice of many and varied goods, and the price offered is also cheaper, as well as the services provided are friendly. Social programs carried out by Mitra Sedekah Store Enough help society in need, so become an attention magnet consumer, for shopping at the Mitra Sedekah Store.
