Abstract

Regional development and national development are interrelated with each other, where the national development target in Indonesia is to create economic growth and equalize development results, including income distribution between regions. The concept of the leading sector economy explains that all economic activities that fall into two parts are basic and non-basic. The basis or superiority is an activity of a group that produces results in the form of services or goods that aim to send far out of the group's area, either regionally, within the country, or abroad. Ogan Ilir Regency is one of the areas in South Sumatra Province which has various sectors where the average economic growth rate during 2013- 2017 is 5.34% (BPS, 2018) with a growth rate, so the researcher aims to analyze the leading sectors in the regional development of Ogan Ilir Regency, it is hoped that it can provide important information about the base sector that can be the mainstay of Ogan Ilir Regency so that regional planning can be carried out in accordance with the potential development of superior commodities obtained. The method used is quantitative analysis: the rate of economic growth, LQ analysis to determine the basis and non-base leading sectors, and shiftshare analysis to identify the superior regional sectors by comparing them with larger regions (regional or national). The results obtained are that there are 7 of the 17 sectors that are the basis, and Based on the results of the ShiftShare calculation there are 4 (four) slow moving sectors, namely; 1) Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries; 2) Mining and Quarrying; 3) Financial and Insurance Services; and 4) Other Services. Abstract

Pagar Alam City is one of the areas located in South Sumatra Province, coinciding at the foot of the mountains, so it has superior commodities in the form of coffee and tea producers. In addition, there are other commodities consisting of cultivating vegetables and fruits. This commodity is a source of livelihood for the majority of the population as farmers. Along with the variety of natural products available, it is felt that they have not fully developed optimally, especially vegetables, fruits and of course human resources (HR). In addition, there are still lands that have not been utilized optimally as agropolitan areas. This study aims to develop a strategy for agricultural and plantation commodities and to take advantage of food potentials, existing infrastructure and facilities. The methods used are analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the first priority results from fruits, vegetables and plantations 1) Strategies to take advantage of strengths and opportunities, namely improving small and medium enterprises, developing technology, infrastructure, human resources. 2) Strategies to take advantage of weaknesses and opportunities, namely providing venture capital / subsidies to farmers and cooperation between parties. 3) Strategies to take advantage of strengths in facing challenges, namely household product management, institutional formation in the form of cooperatives for business progress, 4) strategies to take advantage of weaknesses and challenges, namely socialization between stakeholders for human resource advancement in order to form creativity and marketing innovation in anticipation of business competition.  Keywords: Superior commodities, Agropolitan, Strategy, AHP, SWOT

Abstract

The increase and spread of population between regions always have an impact on settlements, whereby settlements require a land while land in a city has many activities, and it is limited. This limited potential settlement lands greatly influence the direction of the population in finding a place to settle. This study aims to study on potential settlement land in Semarang City. The methods used are quantitative descriptive and spatial descriptive that consist of settlement land suitability analysis (overlaying and weighting), potential settlement land analysis (buffering, overlaying and weighting), population growth analysis, settlement carrying capacity analysis, and distribution of population analysis. The results showed that the most available sub-district of potential settlement land is Mijen Subdistrict, and the total potential land area in Semarang City is 7,006 Ha. The results of the potential land are the destination for the direction of population distribution for sub-districts that do not have potential settlement land. Among others, are spread in West Semarang District, Tugu District, Ngaliyan District, Mijen District, Gunung Pati District, Tembalang District, and Pedurungan District.

Abstract

Kelurahan Lorok Pakjo masuk dalam Sub PPK Ilir Barat I, fungsi utamanya adalah kawasan perdagangan jasa, perumahan, pendidikan dan pengembangan kota baru. Untuk menjadikan lingkungan nyaman aman berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas hidup salah satunya menciptakan sarana prasana yang layak dan memenuhi standar. Kegitan ini merupakan langkah awal dalam perencanaan untuk ketercapaian rencana fungsi kegiatan. Perkembangan teknologi digitalisasi mengalami kemajuan pesat. MyMaps merupakan aplikasi yang memberikan informasi terkait kondisi eksisting di lapangan, data di interpretasikan secara online melalui informasi spasial. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan update data gambar dan peta yang dispasialkan serta ditampilkan dalam bentuk pemetaan online yang dapat diakses dengan mudah. Metode yang digunakan: 1) pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder. 2) koleksi data dan pengelolahan data, 3) input dan interpretasi data melalui aplikasi MyMaps. Hasil kegiatan berupa Peta online yang mampu menampung informasi berupa titik-titik potensi dan permasalahan sarana prasarana, serta penggunaan lahan yang ada di Kelurahan Lorok Pakjo. Terdapat keterangan berupa simbology dalam maps dan informasi tambahan di setiap titik sebaran potensi dan permasalahan sarana prasarana yang dilengkapi dengan gambar serta koordinat.
