<![CDATA[Lanjut usia merupakan fase akhir dari kehidupan. Perubahan yang terjadinya pada lansia salah satunya, penurunan kemampuan muskuloskeletal kearah yang lebih buruk menyebabkan lansia terserang penyakit athritis seperti rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis dan gout arthritis. Hal ini dapat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari sehingga membutuhkan bantuan orang lain. Semakin lama lansia menderita penyakit arthritis maka semakin tinggi kategori ketergantungannya, dan dapat mempengaruhi care dependency. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran care dependency pada lansia dengan arthritis. Desain penelitian deskriptif study dengan cross sectional study. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 100 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling, berjumlah 97 responden. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner CDS-I dalam bentuk skala likert yang berjumlah 40 pertanyaan. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisa univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa care dependency lansia di Puskesmas Banda Aceh berada pada kategori Partial dependent yaitu 75 orang (77,3%) lansia mampu melakukan sebagian aktivitas secara mandiri dan sebagian dibantu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan kepada petugas Puskesmas Kota Banda Aceh agar dapat memberikan pelayanan secara berkelanjutan bagi lansia, karena tingkat ketergantungan lansia dapat berubah dari waktu ke waktu, oleh karena itu perawat harus merencanakan dan menyesuaikan tindakan keperawatan yang memadai sesuai dengan kebutuhan lansia, terutama yang berkaitan dengan aspek mobilitas. Kata kunci: arthritis, care dependency, lanjut usia. ABSTRACT Elderly is the last phase of life. There are some physical deteriorations to the elderly people such as musculoskeletal which gets worse by time and leads to arthritis like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and gout arthritis. It could disturbed their daily activities, so they need help from others. The longer the elderly suffered from arthritis the higher level of their dependency and it wolud be affected their care dependency. This study aimed to examine the care dependency on elderly people with arthritis. The study design was a descriptive study with a cross-sectional study. The population of this research was 100 people. The sampling technique was accidental sampling with 97 respondents. The instruments used to collect the data was CDS-I Questionnaire in the form of Likert Scale consisting of 40 questions. The data was analyzed by univariate analysis. The result of this study showed that the care dependency of elderly people in the Community Health Center in Banda Aceh was in Partial dependent category which are 75 people (77.3%). They are capable of doing their daily activities by themselves or with minimum help. Based on this study, it was expected that the Banda Aceh Health Center staff can provide services sustainably for the elderly, because the level of dependency of the elderly may change over time, therefore nurses have to plan and tailor adequate nursingcare measures to patient needs, especially with respect to the aspect of mobility.
