Abstract

This study examines the effect of accountability and transparency in financial management on improving the quality of education services in Vocational High Schools (SMK) in South Tangerang. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a scale of 1 to 5. This study’s final sample was 115 respondents from school principals, school committees, teachers, and administrative staff from 19 vocational schools in South Tangerang. The data analysis method uses structural equation modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS. The study indicates that accountability and transparency are proven to affect the quality of education services. Clarity of targets and accuracy of financial statements are the most dominant dimensions determining accountability. Transparency is determined by the dimensions of the availability of audit reports and performance reports, while the quality of service is by assurance and empathy. This study implies the importance of educational institutions to increase their transparency and accountability to optimize the quality of education services. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh akuntabilitas dan transparansi pengelolaan keuangan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelayanan pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) se-Kota Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan skala 1 hingga 5. Sampel final dari penelitian ini sebanyak 115 responden yang merupakan para kepala sekolah, komite sekolah, guru, dan staf tata usaha dari 19 SMK yang ada di Tangsel. Metode analisis data menggunakan structrual equation modeling (SEM) dengan Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa akuntabilitas dan transparansi terbukti mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan pendidikan. Kejelasan sasaran dan akurasi laporan keuangan menjadi dimensi yang paling dominan menentukan akuntabilitas. Transparansi paling dominan ditentukan oleh dimensi ketersediaan laporan hasil audit, dan laporan hasil kinerja, sedangkan kualitas pelayanan oleh assurance dan emphaty. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada pentingnya institusi pendidikan untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitasnya untuk mengoptimalisasi kualitas pelayanan pendidikan

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analizing the effect of organization culture and emotionalintelligence of teachers on work ethic in vocational high school teacher at thewest Jakarta. Research method is quantitative with multiple regression. Researchmethode is quantitative approach with regression analisys to proving the theorywhich is basis of the research hypotesys. Collecting data method is used thequestionnaire with sample of 135 vocational teacher in public and private schoolof West Jakarta. Result of this research indicate that organizational culture andemotional intelligence significantly influencing the work ethic. Based on thatresult, vocational school management shoud be able to build an effectiveorganizational culture and provide emotional spiritual questions (ESQ) trainingto the teacher in order to improve their work ethic.Keyword : Emotional_Intelligence, Organizational_Culture, Work_Ethic

Abstract

Abstract: The teaching skills of lecturers are applied to the techniques of mastery and delivery of material so that certain innovations are needed which are adapted to online learning. Student learning satisfaction does not appear by itself, there needs to be a role for lecturers in giving a professional impression both in online teaching skills and mastery of the material. So that in the future, student satisfaction is expected to have a positive impact on student learning outcomes. This study aims to see whether or not the teaching skills of lecturers have an effect on student learning satisfaction. The sample in this study was 134 students, with data collection using a questionnaire. This research is a survey research using correlation analysis techniques and linear regression, where there is one exogenous variable and one endogenous variable. The exogenous variable is in the form of lecturer teaching skills, while the endogenous variable is learning satisfaction. The result of this research is that there is a positive effect of lecturer teaching skills on student learning satisfaction in introductory accounting courses. With a simple correlation value of 0.1194. So that the teaching skills of lecturers contributed to an increase in student learning satisfaction by 1.4%. This research is expected to be a reference for improvement for online learning system activities in order to increase student satisfaction value.
