Abstract

Hemodialysis is a process carried out to remove fluids and waste products from the body when the kidneys are no longer able to carry out the process. The purpose of the study was to analyze "the effect of health education on the benefits of hemodialysis on motivation for life expectancy in patients with chronic kidney failure at the H. Sahudin Regional General Hospital, Cane City in 2021. This research is an experimental study that uses parametric statistical analysis, namely the statistical section whose parameters from the population follow a certain distribution. The research design uses Pre-Experimental Design with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach, which is a technique to determine the effect before and before giving treatment. Based on the results of this study, family motivation in patients undergoing hemodialysis at the Cane City Hospital was mainly in the moderate category. Quality of life in patients undergoing hemodialysis well, there is a relationship between family motivation and quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis. Results based on conclusions and suggestions. Family motivation for patients undergoing hemodialysis at the Cane City Hospital is the most important in the moderate category. It is hoped that the motivation that has been given to hemodialysis patients and families who are still low in providing motivation to increase their motivation to family members undergoing hemodialysis is expected.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease with hyperglycemia characteristics. High non-compliance is in the amount of food consumed by respondents, which is 84.4%. One of the DM management to prevent complications of DM patients is diet therapy or dietary management. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Small Group Discussion Method on Diet Compliance in Type 2 DM patients.This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a one group pre post test design. The sample of this study was 25 respondents who were selected through a total sampling technique. The location of this research is in Bener Kelipah Utara Village, Bener Kelipah District, Bener Meriah Regency. The instrument used was a 3J diet adherence questionnaire on schedule, type, amount. And using the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study showed that dietary compliance before being given health education, 5 (20.0% of respondents were quite obedient. After health counseling, showed higher dietary compliance 16 (64.0%) of respondents were quite obedient in diet. By using the Wicoxon test, and the result is that Ha is accepted with a value of 0.01. Conclusions, namely: before being quite obedient 5 (20.0%), respondents. While after quite obedient as many as 16 (64.0%) respondents. And the influence of the small group discussion method on the adherence to the diabetes mellitus diet, that is, after the pre-test and post-test, Ha received a value of sig.2 (tailed) 0.01. Suggestions for research sites to consider providing education/information as an alternative in learning about the level of dietary compliance, it is hoped that future researchers can conduct further research on the effect of the small group discussion method on dietary compliance in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.

Abstract

Nurses as one of the health workers in hospitals play an important role in achieving health development goals. the success of health services and the participation of nurses in providing appropriate nursing care for patients. One of the efforts to maintain patient safety is to apply SOP (Standard Operating Procedure). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nurses on the implementation of pain management operational procedures at Sri Pamela Tebing Tinggi Hospital in 2022. The type of research used was descriptive, namely describing an objective situation and examining between two variables in a situation or group of subjects. This is used to see the effect of other symptoms or one variable with another variable. The results of the study show the majority based on table 4.2. it can be seen that from 25 respondents, 8 respondents (32.0%) have good knowledge, 11 respondents (44.0%) have sufficient knowledge and then 6 respondents (24.0%) have less knowledge. applying SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) in every action taken by the main nurse is sufficient. Based on the results of this study, nurses are expected to maintain patient safety by implementing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in every action taken by nurses, where nurses need greater knowledge about the importance of hospital management so that the services provided can provide satisfaction to patients.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang banyak diderita oleh masyarakat disebut dengan the silent killer karena sering tidak meimbulkan gejalayang khas. Penderita Hipertensi berpedoman pada standar pengobatan dan merubah pola hidup agar tekanan darah tetap stabil. Hipertensi dapat menyebabkan komplikasi yang berbahaya jika tidak ditangani dengan baik khususnya organ organ vital pada tubuh. Terapi Foot Massage yang merupakan salah satu terapi komplementer berfungsi untuk menurunkan dan menstabilkan tekanan darah karena dapat memberikan efek relaksasi pada otot-otot yang kaku sehingga terjadi vasodilatasi yang menyebabkan tekanan darah turun secara stabil. Penderita Hipertensi cukup banyak di kelurahan Tanah Merah Kecamatan Binjai Selatan Kota Binjai tahun 2020,  kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap penatalaksanaan terapi foot massage yang merupakan salah satu terapi komplementer. Peserta yang mengikuti sebanyak 25 orang setelah malaksanakan terapi foot massage 3 hari berturut turut selama 15 menit nyeri kepala hilang, badan terasa ringan, rileks dan  hasil tekanan darah systole menjadi stabil.

Abstract

Whitish or often called Flour Albus is a normal vaginal secretion in women. In normal circumstances, a healthy vagina produces fluid to clean the vagina from unwanted foreign objects. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of students about genetalia hygiene with the incidence of vaginal discharge in SMA Al-Ansor Kec. Bandar Kab. Simalungun in 2020. This research uses a quantitative research type, with a cross-sectional design. This research design uses a cross-sectional design. The population in the study were all students at SMA Al-Ansor Kec. Bandar Kab. Simalungun in 2020 as many as 126 people, the sample in this study was 56 random sampling, with the research technique using the Chi Square test. The results of the research on the knowledge of students about genetic hygiene at Al-Ansor High School, the majority in the moderate category were 24 people (42.9%). The attitudes of students about genetic hygiene in SMA Al-Ansor Kec. Bandar Kab. Simalungun in 2020 the majority have positive attitudes as many as 30 people (53.6%), The incidence of vaginal discharge in Al-Ansor High School, Kec. Bandar Kab. In 2020, the majority of them experienced physiological vaginal discharge as many as 32 people (57.1%). The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between the knowledge of students about genetalia hygiene with the incidence of vaginal discharge in SMA Al-Ansor Kec. Bandar Kab. Simalungun in 2020. There is a significant relationship between the attitudes of students about genetic hygiene with the incidence of vaginal discharge in SMA Al-Ansor Kec. Bandar Kab. Simalungun year 2020. Adolescent Reproductive Health counseling is recommended in relation to reproductive organs and how to maintain the health of the reproductive organs.

Abstract

Admission of new patients who are not in accordance with standards is likely to reduce the quality of service and also reduce the level of patient satisfaction. This study aims to determine the relationship between the application of standard operating procedures (SOP) in new patient admissions with the level of patient satisfaction at the Raja Musa Sungai Guntung 2019 General Hospital. This study uses a correlation design, time series approach. The sample of this study was 30 new patients who came to the IGD Raja Musa Hospital, using purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using a questionnaire which is processed through the process of editing, coding, data entry, tabulating / processing. Data analysis with Chi Square test. Of the 30 respondents, it was found that the majority of respondents were dissatisfied 18 (60%) based on the level of satisfaction of implementing the SOP for new patient admission at Raja Musa Hospital, 13 respondents were quite good (43.3%). The result of p value analysis is 0.015 <0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the application of standard operating procedures (SOP) for new patient admissions with the level of patient satisfaction at the Raja Musa Sungai Guntung Riau Regional Hospital 2019.

Abstract

Mothers and children are the group most vulnerable to various health problems that cause death. The Maternal and Child Health Book (KIA Book) is for the purpose of family independence in maintaining health, preventing and overcoming maternal and child health problems, many mothers do not want to bring their toddlers to the toddler mother class this is due to lack of knowledge so researchers are interested in examining the effect Class training for pregnant women on maternal knowledge, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of class training for mothers under five on parents' knowledge about child development at the Binjai Serbangan Health Center, Air Joman District in 2021. This research is a pre-experimental design research. The population in this study were all mothers who had toddlers aged 1-5 years, at the Binjai Serbangan Health Center, Air Joman District as many as 80 people, sampling was purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used Wilcoxon test is used to see the effect between two variables with a 95% confidence degree. The results of the study looked at the knowledge of parents about children's growth and development before the training for mothers under five at the Binjai Serbangan Health Center, Air Joman District in 2021, the majority had less knowledge, namely 10 respondents (50.0%). Parental knowledge about child development after training for mothers under five at the Binjai Serbangan Health Center, Air Joman District in 2021, the majority had sufficient knowledge, namely 11 respondents (55.0%). The conclusion of these results proves that class training for mothers of toddlers can have a positive effect on increasing parents' knowledge about child development. It is recommended that the training for mothers of children under five can be used as an option in increasing the knowledge of mothers of children under five so that it is expected to reduce the morbidity rate of children under five, especially in the work area of the Binjai Serbangan Health Center, Air Joman District. Class training for mothers under five needs to be given regularly by health workers, especially by midwives who are in the work area of the Binjai Serbangan Health Center, Air Joman District. The conclusion of these results proves that class training for mothers of toddlers can have a positive effect on increasing parents' knowledge about child development. Abstract

The increase in age has a major effect on life expectancy, especially for women, encouraging the wisdom of the elderly population, the increase in the number of the old population is not only interpreted as an increase in the level of welfare and the increase in health conditions but can also be interpreted as a burden because this old age group is no longer productive. Reproductive health problems need to be widely socialized so that women / future mothers know the reproductive problems they will experience and get a way out of these problems. In addition to the influence of age, another thing that affects reproductive health in women is the reproductive health organs themselves. Without knowing the reproductive health organs well, it is feared that the future mothers will be completely blind and may eventually result in the harmony of the husband and wife relationship. reproductive health is a good state of physical, mental and social well-being, not only free from disease or disability, but also healthy from aspects related to the reproductive system, its functions and processes. Based on the results of previous studies, the total population in Tumpatan Nibung Village, Batang Kuis district, is 6,898 people and 1,100 households this number is part of the total population in batang kuis district, Deli Serdang regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of age on women's reproductive health in Tumpatan Nibung Village, Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method used in this study is Mixed Method Research (MMR) which is a research method that is applied and tested in terms of outcomes and processes with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative study population was 250 people, with a sample plan of 158 people. Quantitative analysis in a univariate, bivariate manner using chi-square with multivariate using multiple logistic regression at a confidence level of 95% (α=0.05). The data obtained from the measurement results can be used as an analysis of the next program situation by using test analysis using SPSS on the running system and turning it into an Analysis system as outcomes

Abstract

The maternal mortality rate is an indicator to assess the success of achievements in maternal health efforts. One of the efforts to reduce maternal mortality is antenatal care services, which are examinations in pregnancy that aim to improve the health of pregnant women, both physically and mentally optimally, as well as restore the health of the reproductive organs. This study aims to see whether there is an effect of acupressure therapy on lower back pain in third trimester pregnant women at the UPTD Puskesmas Marbau in 2022. This research is a non-experimental correlative descriptive study. The population in this study were all third trimester pregnant women who visited the UPTD Langsa Barat Health Center, totaling 47 pregnant women. The sampling technique was carried out using the Accidental Sampling technique so that the total sample was 31 people. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that from the results of the questionnaire the average pain intensity experienced by respondents before being given acupressure therapy was 5.48, after being given acupressure therapy was 3.65. The results of data analysis showed a value of P = 0.03, where 0.03 <0.05. This shows that there is an effect of acupressure therapy on lower back pain in third trimester pregnant women. It was concluded that the effect of acupressure therapy on lower back pain in third trimester pregnant women at the Marbau Health Center UPTD in 2022. So Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted
