Abstract

The advance of century and technology in Indonesia however triggered the social changes in society. One of the social changes is the pattern of relationship between parents and their children, especially the urban society. The hectic activity and high individualism are the causes that made parents rarely get proper attention and care from their children. A lot of parents are left even separated from their children's life. This phenomenon will greatly affect the mental and psychological development of parents. People in the elder stage will feel that they are useless if they do not get any attention that they need. This design interior of Panti Surya Orphanage aim to fulfill the needs by parents who do not get proper care from their children and live lonely. This interior design using an analytical method with doing field survey and direct interview to know what the real problem is, and then collecting the data that are gathered and analyze the data as the fundamental of the design. The orphanage design is based on the Universal Design standard so that this design can give a good impact to the elders and the society around.

Abstract

The studio apartments attract many university students, other than as a place that's large enough to house a person, the strategic location makes it convenient for an alternative home. Interior designer is one profession that is much in demand today. Many young people seek to become interior designers as their final level education. Within a limited space of area and variety of activities, interior design students often have difficulty completing their tasks. Therefore, it is necessary to have a multi-functional desk to facilitate all the necessity of an interior design student.

Abstract

The human lifestyles is one aspect that is growing rapidly. One example of lifestyle development is the start of entry and development of wine into modern society today. In this final project, the writer takes the theme Wine House Bar & Lounge, as a means of fulfilling the needs of those who are fond of wine. The place is meant not only as a place to relax but also a place to gather with others who have an interest or hobby towards wine, as well as to increase the appreciation of the wine itself. The design concept applied to the design of Wine House Bar & Lounge is “Complex Harmony”, where the designer wants to describe the complexity of the wine itself into every detail and design elements that create a harmonious design so that everyone who was in the room can be educated and get to know wine. In this design, the design method used is the method of data collection that includes literature study, observation, and survey.

Abstract

Surabaya is one big city that has a lot of culture or what we call multicultural caused many hobbies in common, one of which collects old bikes. Indonesia old bike community is a community that collects a lot of old bicycles and to educate the public about the collection of old bicycle and how to take care of the bike and do not have the facilities to accommodate. A facility design with contrast concept is designed to accommodate every activity of this old bike community, ranging from collecting, gathering, educating to tamper with spare-parts that have been damaged. Contrasting design concept enthusiasts will attract visitors to stop by and see the collection of the gallery this community, with a design that contrasts well as visitors will not feel bored while and was looking through a collection of old bikes there. A café designed addition to facilitating routine gathering of old bike community, this café can also be visited by the public and visitors gallery.
