Abstract

Evaluasi penuaan peralatan sarana dukung perlu dilakukan dalammenjamin keberlangsungan operasi sarana dukung Fasilitas Instalasi Elemen Bakar Eksperimentaluntuk memberi kontribusi pada proteksi dan keselamatan instalasi karena struktur, sistem dan komponen (SSK) dapat mengalami perubahan fisik akibat penuaan sehingga mempengaruhi fungsi keselamatan dan umur layanannya, program manajemen penuaan disusun untuk merencanakan dan melaksanakan upaya-upaya yang secara sistematis dan memadai dalam mengelola efek penuaan terhadap SSK dan tujuan dilakukan evaluasi penuaan peralatan fasilitas sarana dukung IEBE untuk mengetahui kelayakan operasi. Metode yang digunakan untuk kegiatan ini meliputi identifikasi penuaan, pemeriksaan, evaluasi. Dari hasil pemeriksaan dan evaluasi dengan menggunakan batasan 70 oC yang dijadikan batasan sebagai bahan evaluasitelah dilakukan tindakan perbaikan pada Panel PVI-CFE.1B, MCCB power utama supply untuk Chiller 2B, Panel power Chiller 2B system-1, untuk pemeriksaan perlatan motor sarana dukung masih dalam kondisi normal, sedangkan untuk pemeriksaan getaran dan visual pada peralatan sistem VAC dan Sarana Dukungterdapat kategori unacceptableyang dapat mengakibatkan terjadi kerusakan pada mesin sehingga perlu dilakukan tindakan perbaikan dan penggantian alat yaitu pada supply CDT-3, CDT-4 dan exhaustCFE-2.1Kata kunci: evaluasi, penuan, struktur, sistem dan komponen (SSK), sarana dukung

Abstract

Telah dilakukan evaluasi peningkatan kapasitas sistem air pendingin untuk kebutuhan air dingin pada fasilitas IEBE sebesar 8.632 L/menit  = 517.920 L/jam, desain awal untuk mendinginkan air  tersebut dipergunakan mesin pendingin air / chiller  water sentrifugal jenis pendingin air dan menggunakan refrigerant R11, kapasitas pendinginan per-unit sebesar 377 TR dengan kapasitas air dingin yang dihasilkan sebesar 3.162 liter/menit yang dioperasikan 2-3 unit chiller, dari hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan selisih temperatur air dingin masuk dengan keluarantara 5 – 6 oC didapatkan 852,96 – 1023,56 TR,   seiring perjalanan waktu chiller   watersentrifugal terjadi penuaan dan kerusakan yang tidak mungkin lagi untuk dilakukan perbaikan serta menyangkut pelarangan penggunaan R.11, secara bertahap dilakukan pergantian chiller water unit beralih menggunakan refrigerant R-22, pada saat ini telah terpasang 2 unit chiller masing-masing dengan kapasitas pendinginan 211 TR × 2 unit = 422 TR, dari hasil perhitungan masih diperlukan penambah chiller dan akan dilakukan pemenuhan secara bertahap, pada tahun ini direncanakan akan dilakukan pengadaan chiller baru dengan kapasitas pendinginan sekitar 802 kW/ 288 TR. Kata kunci: sistem ventilasi, air handling unit, refrigerant, chiller.  ABSTRACTAn evaluation of the improvement of the cooling water system for cold water needs at the IEBEfacility has been carried out at 8,632 L / min = 517,920 L / hr, the initial design to cool the cold water was used a water cooling machine / centrifugal water chiller type water cooler and used R11 refrigerant, per-unit cooling capacity of 377 TR with the resulting cold water capacity of3,162 liters / minute operated by 2-3 chiller units, from the results of calculations using the difference in temperature of cold water entering and leaving between 5-6 oC obtained 852.96 -1023.56 TR, Over time the centrifugal water chiller occurs aging and damage that is no longer possible to be repaired and involves banning the use of R.11, gradually the water chiller unit ischanged to switch to using R-22 refrigerant, at this time 2 chiller units have been installed each with a cooling  2 units = 422 TR´capacity of 211 TR, from the results of the calculation is still needed to increase the chiller and will be carried out in stages, this year it is planned to beprocured a new chiller with a cooling capacity of around 802 kW / 288 TR.
