Sampl e preparation for measuri ng cow's progesterone in radioimmunoasssay technique appli cati on has been done. Preparation includes the preparation of samples of cow’s milk samples that has been carried out artifical insemi nati on onday 0, 11 and 21. Then the standard maki ng of progesterone i n the form of fresh milk or ski m milk (non fat) that has been removed its progesterone and through a series of chemical processes. The last i s the preparation work on sampl es usi ng the RIA kit I 125 . With this milk samples preparation, samples can be counted usi ng RIA counter so that consentration of rogesterone hormone can be determined accuratel y. The purpose of cow’s progesterone hormone measurement is to know if the artifi ci al i nsemination is successful or not PREPARASI SAMPEL UNTUK PENGUKURAN HORMON PROGESTERON SAPI PADA APLIKASI TEKNIK RADIOIMMUNOASSAY. Telah dilakukan preparasi sampel untuk mengukur progesteron sapi dengan menggunakan tekni k RIA. Preparasi sampel meliputi persiapan pengambilan sampel berupa sampel susu sapi yang telah di lakukan inseminasi buatan (IB) setelahhari ke 0, ke 11 dan hari ke 21 dari IB tersebut. Kemudian dilakukan pembuatan standar progesteron berupa susu segar atau susu skim (bebas lemak) yang telah dihilangkan progesteronnya dan melalui serangkai an proses kimia. Terakhir adalah persi apan pengerjaan sampel dengan menggunakan kit RIA I 125 . Dengan persi apan sampel susu i ni di harapkan sampel dapat dicacah dengan pencacah RIA sehingga konsentrasi hormon progesteron dapat di ketahui dengan tepat.Adapun tujuan pengukuran hormon progesteron sapi yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah i nseminasi buatan yang dil akukan berhasil atau ti dak.]]>
