Abstract

Farmer Water User Association (HIPPA) is a non-governmental organization whose establishment stipulated in Government Regulation No. 20 of 2006 on Irrigation . HIPPA role as management of irrigation at the farm/village, aims to support the aspirations of farmers and land productivity in order to increase agricultural production, food security, and livelihoods. HIPPA formation in the institution is expected to be independent and have the ability in the field of organizational, economic and technical. The problem, HIPPA role yet as expected. HIPPA involvement in the determination of government policy and the development forum (especially irrigation) from the village, sub-district,  and district almost nothing . Often occurs when the tissue rehabilitation, contractors not communicating with HIPPA as irrigation management institutions and farmer representatives . As a result, many activities that deviate from the target , resulting in a decline in the quality of the work. HIPPA therefore need to be empowered role for supervision of construction services activities which will greatly assist the development and management of irrigation systems.

Abstract

Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) is one of the oldest educational systems in the archipelago (Indonesia). Classical method of a Kiai (religious leader of Moslem) as a figure and the mosque as a center of education proved to contribute knowledge and education character of the nation's children. Before modern education gives its influence, the classic, written or unwritten rules become a culture of positive direction for the santri (students of Islamic Boarding School) in it. Countless warriors and heroes in their era gave a share in the journey of this nation. Pesantren Modern is one of the evolutions of pesantren in responding to the development of the time. The principle of "Al mukhafadatualaalqodimiassholeh, walakhdualjadidi al aslah" or means keeping the good old tradition and take something new and better is a foothold in the management of the boarding school. The development is adjusted with the syllabus of the education curriculum in accordance of the level of elaborating the compulsory activities or called as Intracurricular activities as well as selected activities or Extracurricular. Another important role is the culture in surrounding pesantren as a container or synergy activities in everyday life. This article is more practical try to review the relationship of variables between the influence of extracurricular activities, intracurricular activities and pesantren culture on improving student achievement in PP. Baitul Arqom Jember. This study was used a quantitative approach by collecting primary and secondary data with various methods of data analysis and validity test to determine the level of validity and reliability.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and test the effect of principal supervision and teacher achievement motivation on teacher performance in SMA Satya Dharma Balung, either simultaneously or partially. This research includes explanatory research survey. The location of this research is at SMA Satya Dharma Balung. The independent variable of this research were the principal supervision and teacher achievement motivation (X) while the dependent variable of this research was the teacher performance (Y). The subject of this research was all of the teachers at SMA Satya Dharma Balung which also became the sample. Data collection methods used in this study were observation, direct interview, questionnaire, and documentation. While the data analysis used was multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the research noted that the influence of the principal supervision and teacher achievement motivation had a significant effect on the teacher performance at SMA Satya Dharma Balung either partially or simultaneously. Partial test result proved by t -count value: 1). The t -count value of the principal's supervision variable is 2.054 with the probability value of 0.048, while the t - table value was 2.035. Therefore t-count > t-table (2.054 > 2.035). 2). The value of t-count of the teacher achievement motivation is 3.863 with the probability value 0.000, while t-table value was 2.035, so t-count > t-table (3,863 > 2,035). The effective contribution of principal supervision and teacher achievement motivation toward teacher performance at SMA Satya Dharma Balung was 71,4% of teacher achievement motivation variable as the most dominant variable (47,8%). The final result of this research was to improve the performance of the achievement which could also improve the teacher's performance and commitment.
