Abstract

The value of travel time is the amount of money a person can spend to save a unit of travel time. Loss of travel time is a form of losses in terms of cost and time experienced by road users. This research is conducted at Kartini Street, Bandar Lampung. The purpose of this study is to obtain the value of travel time for car and motorbike users using the linear regression method processed with SPSS. The dependent variable is the cost per length of trip. The independent variables are the lengths, the costs, and the distance of the trip, as well as the socio-economic data of the respondents, namely gender, age, occupation and income. Based on the results of the processing, it is found that the independent variables that have a significant effect on the value of travel time at the research location are age, income, travel time and travel costs. By distributing the mode value of the survey data into the regression equation, the value of travel time on Kartini street for private car drivers is Rp. 25,452.24 / hour and for motorbike riders is Rp. 14,527.26 / hour. Keywords: travel time value, private vehicle, linear regression

Abstract

The increasing number of motorcycle vehicles, causing traffic congestion at the signal intersection in Bandar Lampung City. As an effort in reducing congestion, the government of Bandar Lampung city made Special Stopping Space (RHK) for motorcycles. The RHK is a space dedicated to arrange motorcycle queue place when stop at the signalized intersection during traffic light period. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of RHK at the signalized intersection, and it’s impact on saturation current increase and approach capacity compared to approach without RHK. The effectiveness and impact of RHK, was conducted by surveying traffic flow in the morning during peak hours using camera video in each selected approaches. The survey data obtained were analyzed using MKJI and compared with previous research. RHK increases saturation flow 7,3% - 17,5% and approach capacity 37,67% - 52,09%. In conclusion RHK is effective to be provided in signal intersection. Value of RHK filling level at Jl. P. Diponegoro - Jl. P. Diponegoro and Jl. Jend. Sudirman - Jl. Gajah Mada - Jl. Jend. Sudirman is less than 50% that indicates bad while at Jl. Jend. Sudirman - Jl. Jend. Sudirman and Jl. Dr. Susilo - Jl. P. Abstract

Jalan R.A. Kartini menghubungkan kawasan primer dengan kawasan sekunder guna mendukung berbagai aktivitas dan kebutuhan masyarakat kota Bandar Lampung. Dengan adanya pandemi Covid-19, terjadi penurunan aktifitas pergerakan transportasi yang disebabkan oleh berkurangnya aktifitas diluar rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis emisi kendaraan di jalan R.A. Kartini selama masa new normal dan membandingkannya dengan masa normal. Data yang digunakan pada analisis berasal dari data volume lalu lintas dan data penjualan mobil. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini yaitu volume kendaraan mempengaruhi tingkat emisi yang dikeluarkan dari masingmasing kendaraan. Hasil prediksi kosentrasi emisi kendaraan yang terjadi yaitu karbon monoksida (CO) sebesar 125,32 ton/tahun, karbon dioksida (CO2) sebesar 17430,58 ton/tahun, hidrokarbon (HC) sebesar 27,47 ton/tahun, nitrogen oksida (NOX) sebesar 5,91 ton/tahun, partikulat (PM10) sebesar 0,9495 ton/tahun dan sulfur dioksida (SO2) sebesar 0,6348 ton. Beban emisi pencemar kendaraan tertinggi disebabkan oleh CO2 dan CO.Kata kunci: jalan R.A. Kartini, pandemi Covid-19, masa new normal, volume lalu lintas, emisi kendaraan
