Abstract

The demands of learning in the 4.0 era require students not only to learn but to interpret learning as a whole, besides that during the pandemic period, learning is done online. The importance of literacy activities among students is not only limited to reading and writing skills but must include two other language skills such as listening skills and speaking skills. To hone these four skills requires continuous activities. Many students are skilled in writing skills but lacking in speaking skills. This can be overcome with a multiliterative learning model that optimizes the four language skills as well as other aspects such as the use of technology and the surrounding environment that can be used as learning materials. After the multiliteration learning stage is achieved, it is expected that students' interpersonal intelligence will change. How they understand other people's situations, how to empathize, work together in groups. This study aims to determine the optimization of the multiliteration learning model in improving interpersonal intelligence in writing literary subjects and to determine the results of multiliterative learning in making short stories. The method used in this research is pre-experimental method. Experimental research using one class with a research sample of 40 students. The results showed that this method was effectively used in improving interpersonal intelligence in writing literary works. The short story writing test results obtained by an average of 63.50 at the pretest while the posttest average was 83.13, so there was an increase of 19.63.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the curiosity of researchers regarding the effect of using the picture and picture method in writing poetry texts in class XI students. This research was conducted to determine the level of success obtained in the use of the picture and picture method in writing poetry texts. The first activity carried out when the study was observed when the learning process was running, then a questionnaire was given to students. The selected subjects were class XI Language students totaling 22 people. The formulation of the problem contained, 1) is the picture and picture method effectively applied in learning to write poetry texts? 2) can the picture and picture learning method increase students' interest in learning text writing poetry? There are also research objectives, among others, 1) to determine the effectiveness of learning to write poetry texts using the method of picture and picture 2) to increase students' interest in learning to write poetry texts using the picture and picture method. The method applied in this study is descriptive qualitative. The researcher chose the technique of collecting data by observing and testing. The results of the study show that the picture and picture method is suitable for writing poetry texts. This can be seen with an increase in the value of 10.8% from the average value of 79.7 pretests and posttest average value 88.3.

Abstract

This research is based on the difficulty of writing students through the results of evaluations conducted by the teacher. The problem examined is how is the implementation of the brainstorming method in writing explanatory text? Is the brainstorming method able to improve the results of explanatory text writing? The study was made to find out how the implementation of the brainstorming method in writing explanatory text and to determine the increase in the results of explanatory text writing by the brainstorming method. The researcher used the pre-experimental design method through the one-group-pretest-posttest approach. The research data collection technique was taken from the results of the pretest question sheet and the posttest question sheet that had been done by the students. The sample taken by researchers in class XI was 23 students. the results of the pretest study were 50.00 after the treatment was carried out by applying the brainstorming method, the posttest results increased to 73.33, there was a difference in numbers of 23.33. the increase in the results proved that the implementation of the brainstorming method was very effective in improving explanation text writing skills for high school students.

Abstract

The short story "Misteri Uang Melayang" is one of the literary works that can be used as motivation for readers and writers. The contents of this short story are very interesting because the contents of the story are common in everyday life. Various moral polemics in aspects of life are manifested clearly by the authors, especially those that occur in the world of education. The problem statement focuses on moral values. The purpose of his research was to analyze the moral values contained in Sona's short story entitled “Misteri Uang Melayang”. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection in this research by reading, analyzing, and marking texts or sentences that are included in moral values. This is done so that moral values in the short story are easily identified and implemented in daily life by the reader. Through this research, the reader is expected to be able to reap the moral values presented by the author in his short story. Through the research, the moral values in this story never give up, willing to sacrifice and without ulterior motives, hard work, creative, forgive each other and don’t be cunning and cheating to get things done. Through the research process, the author seeks to integrate moral values well so that the desired goals can reach the reader. Thus it can be concluded that the short story produced by Sona is suitable to be read by all groups, both ordinary people and intellectuals. Teenagers and parents can enjoy it too.

Abstract

Mass media has progressed more rapidly from time to time, one of which is television media that has enormous potential than other electronic media. This observation intends to understand the speech events in the Say Disconnect show. The object of this observation is a conversation from participants in the Disconnect Say. The research method used is qualitative. As a result, the research proves that the whole dialogue in the Say Broken scene piece fulfills the eight SPEAKING requirements to become a speech event. In this episode, there are 34 speeches. The main topic is about the problem of love of a client named Indri. On the Settings, there are two background places named in the car and in the dance studio. Participants, there are five participants namely Komo, Concita, Indri, Bagus, and Dance Coaches. Ends or designed and intended from this show is solving a client's love problem. In the action sequences, the form of speech in this show is in the form of dialogue conversation. The various languages used in all are unofficial languages. Found a lot of keys that are used so that you can say expressive in every conversation. Instrumentalities that are used in the whole conversation are oral with a variety of informal languages. In Norm, there are interacting norms in the form of politeness when speaking. In Genres or forms of delivery in the form of dialogue.
