Abstract

Abstract: Policy framework related with the regional autonomy is formulating and implementing independent policies to be strategic. During decades, the development patterns have been more using centralism, which is fail to put the elements of sustainable economic development. The development format at the Era of regional autonomy has a bigger authority to fix and control development strategy properly with the regional potencies. One of governmental concerns is policy on the development tourism potential which was lead to involve the government, society, and private sectors. The main priority in such development is always connected with tourism objects and attractions. That effort is to harmonize the supporting factors, such as facilities and infrastructures. A now on development potency is cultural potential and local wisdom. Key words: tourism; development; local wisdom Abstrak: Kerangka kebijakan yang terkait dengan Otonomi Daerah adalah untuk merumuskan dan mengimplementasikan kebijakan-kebijakan secara mandiri menjadi sangat strategis. Selama beberapa dekade, pola pembangunan lebih banyak menggunakan pendekatan sentralistis yang terbukti gagal meletakkan dasar pembangunan ekonomi yang kuat dan berkesinambungan. Format pembangunan pada era Otonomi Daerah memiliki kewenangan yang lebih besar untuk menetapkan dan mengontrol strategi pembangunan yang sesuai dengan potensi daerah. Salah satu aspek perhatian Pemerintah adalah kebijakan pengembangan dan pendayagunaan potensi pariwisata yang selalu diarahkan untuk melibatkan berbagai pihak, baik Pemerintah, masyarakat maupun kalangan dunia usaha. Prioritas utama dalam upaya pembangunan sektor ini selalu dihubungkan dengan objek dan daya tarik wisata. Upaya tersebut untuk menselaraskan faktor-faktor pendukung, yang antara lain sarana dan prasarana penunjang sebagai salah satu sektor unggulan. Salah satu potensi yang dapat dikembangkan saat ini ialah potensi budaya atau kearifan lokal yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing daerah. Kata kunci: pariwisata; pembangunan; kearifan lokal

Abstract

Abstract: Development of tourism as part of local government effort in managing regional potency to improve prosperity of society around tourist destinations and society in general, which require supporting facilities. This research is part of dissertation research entitled Development of Tourism Based on Local Wisdom in Context of Regional Development (Study at Tourism Office of North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara). The focus in this article discusses the supporting facilities in the development of tourism North Lombok regency. The research method used qualitative approach, collecting data through observation, interview, secondary study giving general description about the condition of tourism and its development in North Lombok Regency (Kabupaten Lombok Utara) West Nusa Tenggara Province (Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat). The respondents identification using purposive sampling. Testing the validity of data in this study include test credibility (internal validity), transferability (external validity), dependability (reliability), and confirmability (objectivity). The results showed that in general the supporting facilities owned by North Lombok Regency of West Nusa Tenggara already meet the standards and needs of tourists.
