Abstract

Entrepreneurial intention among students college still low, this is a challenge for all people including academics. Entrepreneurial education is expected to give positive stimulus to encourage entepreneurial intention among students. The aim of this study is to examine whether Adversity Quotient (AQ), attitude toward entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial education affects entrepreneurial intention. Sample for this research is to students from Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia (STIESIA) Surabaya. The linier regression analysis was used to examine the hypothesis and it was in condition supported. The result shows that attitude toward entrepreneurship influences entrepreneurial intention positively (β:0.342, p kurang dari 0.05), while entrepreneurial education has no significant effect on the entrepreneurial intention. One of the dimensions of Adversity Quotient, controls gave significant effect on entrepreneurial intention (β: 0476, p kurang dari 0.05). This indication shows that attitude toward entrepreneurship is appropriate indicators in order to encourage entepreneurial intention among students, positive attitude in entrepreneurship will increasing entrepreneurial behavior.

Abstract

One way to improve the competence of college graduates can be done by giving motivation to students to become entrepreneurs. In addition to improving student competency, entrepreneurship is also one of the efforts of universities to reduce the unemployment rate of college graduates. For this reason, interest in entrepreneurship among academics must be increased because it has a large contribution to the progress of a nation. This study aims to review the interests of student entrepreneurship from contextual factors.The population in this study were students in Surabaya with a sample size of 100. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling and data analysis using SEM. The results of this study are: There is a positive and significant influence of contextual factors on the interest in entrepreneurship. Based on the standardized results the parameter coefficient of 0.955 is significant at 0.001 (p = ***).

Abstract

Religious tourism is one of the popular types of tourism in Indonesia and has a considerable influence on the local economy. This religious tour always attracts many visitors throughout the year. The purpose of this research is to know what factors influence people's interest in doing religious tourism in Sunan Giri, Gresik Regency. Respondents in this study were visitors to the tomb of Sunan Giri, both in groups and independently. Analysis of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable in this study using SPSS. From the results of the study, it was found that the level of education, income level, and type of work did not affect the interest of tourists in visiting the tomb of Sunan Giri. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the level of religiosity affects the interest of tourists in doing religious tourism. The more religious a person is, the greater the interest of a person in doing religious tourism. This condition is because when tourists visit places that are considered sacred and bring blessings, the more calm their heart and get positive energy for themselves. Tourists also feel that what is said in prayer will be more easily answered because praying in a place that is considered to bring blessings and goodness.
