Abstract

This writing gives description about relation among religion followers in Indonesia. The condition of tolerance and the harmony of religion followers in Indonesia is on critical condition. The effort to support multicultural understanding have been done by many sides. The conflict in Indonesia is social religion phenomenon, in whole the violence is happened either on individual level, collective, institution, or the system itself. The mapping model of religious in Indonesia become one alternative for early anticipation. The effort of transformation multicultural understanding is taken by all educators. They are graduated from university should have an ability to transfer the scientific, especially religion tolerance.

Abstract

The focus of this article is to examine the symbols used in funeral ceremonies from Gorontalo in the perspective of Karl Jaspers' human philosophy. This research is a library research supported by field research. Literature research uses library data collection methods, while field research uses observation, participatory, interview. Data analysis uses interpretation, historical, heuristic and reflection. The research finds interpretations and reflections on the symbolism of the ceremonial tradition showing that it is not only a chiffer, but a chiffer that gives the power of revelation to other chiffers and unites them in Divine reality. The tradition illustrates that every element of reality, history and culture is interrelated and reveals elements of the same divinity, uborampe and media in ceremonies are symbols towards the Transcendent and play a role in life. The symbols used in the tradition illustrate that every divine power and element in the entire cosmos is in the unity of divinity.

Abstract

Along with the progress of time, some aspects of religious belief which previously considered to be final are now beginning to be questioned, including the aspect of hadith and Ulumul Hadith. This questioning should not be interpreted as a contravention to religious values. Rather, it should be regarded as a positive effort to advance a living religion. Among the problems of hadith and Ulumul Hadith which have always been questioned are the aspects of history, authority, authenticity, interpretation, methodology, capability of hadith to meet contemporary challenges and so forth. In response to this situation, solutions offered comprise: methods of isnad and matn analysis; thematic hadith assessment studies (maudu'iy), contextualization or re-interpretation of hadith meaning, reconstruction of Ulumul Hadith; and application of hermeneutic methods. Implementation of these techniques is expected to serve as answers to the problems facing Ulumul hadith and hadith, and also as stimulations to enforce the spirit of Islamic studies in general.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mencoba mengetengahkan rekam jejak perjalanan Cina hingga mampu mencapai puncak kejayaan. Sebuah tulisan yang berusaha menguak fenomena keajaiban Cina dalam abad modern melalui kajian filsafat. Penulis mulai dengan akar sejarah awal mula peradaban Cina, Banyak Pemikiran di Cina yang berpengaruh di negara Raksasa Asia itu. Salah satunya adalah pemikiran Confusius yang diajarkan oleh guru bangsa Cina. Kedua, kedudukan filsafat adalah ajaran Cina Filsafat mereka mengungkapkan serta menghargai nilai-nilai adi-susila, dan dengan jalan hidup menurut filsafat mereka menghayati nilai-nilai adi-susila ini. ketiga, Filsafat Cina dalam dunia Modern.

Abstract

Artikel menjelaskan perempuan dalam naskah demis yang berasal dari Gorontalo. Tulisan ini mempergunakan analisis data secara filosofis, yakni menggunakan unsur-unsur metodis yang sesuai untuk penelitian pandangan filosofis di lapangan. Naskah Demis ini seperti kebanyakan naskah klasik yang ada di Indonesia yakni tindakan yang tidak berpihak oleh laki-laki terhadap perempuan. Eksistensi manusia khususnya perempuan terepresi oleh sosok manusia lain yakni seorang laki-laki. Karl Jasper menjelaskan bahwa kehidupan manusia akan mencapai makna existenz, tetapi manusia memiliki keterbatasan existenzerherlung, yakni penderitaan, perjuangan, dan kesalahan.

Abstract

Religion and culture are two inseparable things. Grounded religious values require traditions and culture that develop in society. This article aims to analyze the religious and cultural understanding of multiculturalism in the people of Manado City. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with data sources coming from the literature and interviews. The data were analyzed using the maqâshid al-syarî`ah approach. The results of the study show that the city of Manado as an area with a multicultural population strongly adheres to the religious understanding that every religion in principle loves, respects, and respects each other. The philosophy of sitou timou tumou tou, torang samua basudara, mapalus, democracy, anti-discrimination and friendship are believed and guided in carrying out all social activities in Manado society. If viewed from the perspective of maqâshid al-syarî`ah, then it is included in the category of maslahat al-‘ummah.Agama dan budaya adalah dua hal yang tidak terpisahkan. Nilai-nilai agama yang membumi membutuhkan tradisi dan budaya yang berkembang di masyarakat. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis paham keagamaan dan budaya multikulturalis pada masyarakat Kota Manado. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data berasal dari kepustakaan dan hasil wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan maqâshid al-syarî`ah. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Kota Manado sebagai daerah yang berpenduduk multikulturalis sangat berpegang pada pemahaman keagamaan bahwa setiap agama pada prinsipnya saling menyayangi, saling menghormati dan saling menghargai. Falsafah sitou timou tumou tou, torang samua basudara, mapalus, demokrasi, antidiskriminasi dan silaturrahim diyakini dan dipedomani dalam melakukan segala aktifitas sosial dalam masyarakat Manado. Jika ditinjau dari perspektif maqâshid al-syarî`ah, maka masuk dalam kategori maslahat al-‘ummah.

Abstract

This research aims to elaborate on the importance of local wisdom for the Jambi Malay community, both in understanding and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a field research that has used qualitative methods where data has been collected through interviews, observation, documentation and FGD. The data that has been collected is sorted through data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. After that, the data has been analyzed with epistemological theory. Research has found that there is a fundamental difference between the epistemology of the government and the epistemology of the Jambi Malay community in the form of ethno-epistemology. This difference has led to differences in understanding and response by government and society. This finding has at the same time answered the research objective that local wisdom is important for the Jambi Malay community in understanding and responding to the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

This article seeks to demonstrate the applicability of Paul Feyerabend's "anything goes" epistemology to the development of knowledge. This study is a literature review. Data were collected through data inventory, then analyzed and interpreted. The results of the study show that "all methodologies have limitations, and the only 'rule' that can survive is 'anything goes'". The main idea of anything goes is, first, the recommendation proposed by Feyerabend related to the discourse of anything goes, only remains as a negative freeing recommendation because it requires a certain scientific situation that is considered to restrict scientists; and is often understood simply as advocating the absence of laws, methodologies, and rules in science. Second, it actually limits the movement of scientists because it requires participation only in practices that are undefined and cannot be defined. Third, it is only a consequence of the first and second premises. In other words, anything goes, both externally and internally, contains two dimensions of freedom at once. The differences in position must be clarified to avoid confusion about the status of freedom contained in anything goes.

Abstract

Artikel ini ingin menunjukkan aksiologi tumbilotohe yang ada di Gorontalo. Penelitian ini merupakan studi lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui inventarisasi data, kemudian dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pertama, Nilai Kesadaran dari Keturunan yang Sama; Pemasangan lampu dilakukan oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Orang miskin, kaya, pegawai, pendatang yang tinggal di Gorontalo, Bupati, Gubernur seluruhnya memasang lampu di sekitar rumah. Kedua, nilai kembali pada yang fitri puasa ramadhan merupakan rutinitas yang ibadah yang tidak bisa ditinggalkan dalam setiap tahunnya karena hukumnya yang wajib Puasa Ramadahan ialah puasa yang dilaksanakan dari mulai fajar hingga terbenam matahari. Ketiga, Nilai Kepuasan Spiritual; Kepuasan spitirual masyarakat Gorontalo diwujudkan dengan tetap memasang tumbilotohe dengan model lampu minyak tanah. Harga minyak tanah yang lebih mahal dari pada premium tidak menjadi halangan bagi masyarakat Gorontalo

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang kebebasan manusia. Artikel ini ingin menemukan kebebasan manusia menurut Muhamaad Iqbal sebagai objek material dan Whitehead sebagai objek formal. Penelitian ini merupakan studi pustaka. Data dikumpulkan melalui inventarisasi data, kemudian dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Diri bersifat individual, namun ke-individualitas-an diri/ego tidak berarti menjadikannya egoistik dan terisolir. Setiap ego bersama dengan ego-ego lainnya terikat dalam relasi simbiosis mutualistik, karena ego hidup dalam jejaring organisasional, dan ego sendiri pada level kediriannya bersifat holistik. Setiap keegoan pribadi dapat diakses oleh ego ego yang lain dengan istilah simbiosis mualistik. Kehendak pribadi terbuka dengan ego atau kehendak orang lain untuk mencipkan masyarakat yang terbuka. Whitehead memperinci kehendak itu tidak sama dengan tindakan praktis, karena kehendak mempunyai superiotitas sendiri dan sebaliknya kehendak tidak dapat disamakan pengetahuan teoritis, karena kita bias melihat gejala-gelaja tegangan yang sering muncul dan sulit didamaikan antara keduanya. Kehendak harus diletakkan pada tindakan praktis dan pengetahuan teoritis.
