Abstract

Abstract LWUIT is a library to UI’s widget that was designed to a device with limited capacity, like mobile phone that can give an interesting menu and help developer to develop its components. In this research, LWUIT was implemented on a J2ME mobile tourism guide  application in Semarang Regency that could be used to show some information about tourism objects attractively. So, users would be attracted to have a vacation in Semarang Regency after making use of it. This application gave information mostly needed by tourists like something to see, something to do, and something to buy in tourist objects located in Semarang Regency. In addition, It gave information in map model that could help users to understand tourism object in Semarang Regency more clearly. Hopefully, It benefits to Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga, Kebudayaan, dan Pariwisata in Semarang Regency on tourism objects promotion. Keywords: J2ME, LWUIT, mobile information    Abstrak LWUIT merupakan sebuah   library untuk  widget UI yang di desain untuk device dengan kapasitas terbatas seperti  mobile phone  yang dapat menyajikan aplikasi dengan tampilan lebih menarik serta memudahkan  developer  dalam melakukan  develope  komponen. Pada penelitian ini LWUIT diimplementasikan pada sebuah aplikasi panduan pariwisata  mobile  J2ME  di kabupaten Semarang yang dapat digunakan untuk menampilkan informasi mengenai objek wisata dengan lebih menarik. Hal ini memberikan manfaat bagi Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga, Kebudayaan, dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Semarang sebagai media promosi objek  wisata kepada masyarakat luas agar wisatawan tertarik untuk melakukan perjalanan wisata di kabupaten Semarang setelah menjalankan aplikasi tersebut. Aplikasi ini memberikan informasi berupa apa saja yang bisa dilihat, dilakukan, dan dibeli oleh pengguna pada objek wisata yang ada di kabupaten Semarang. Aplikasi ini juga menyediakan informasi dalam bentuk peta yang dapat membantu pengguna mengetahui lebih jelas lokasi objek wisata di kabupaten Semarang.  Kata Kunci : LWUIT, J2ME, informasi mobile

Abstract

This research determines tourist profile in tourist attraction of Gazebo in the Kemetul village tourism in Semarang. This research discusses socio-demographics condition, psyco-graphics condition, tourist expectation, and geography in Kemetul Village. This research conducted with the quantitative descriptive method using a survey. The survey conducted to 126 tourists as the existing market. The survey result shows that most of the visitors of Gazebo Kemetul Village are students with age between 15-25 years old, and dominated with visitors who came from Semarang City. The result shows that 40% of visitors like artificial tourist attraction, 58% tourist like solo travelling. Research also found that most of the visitors are hoping the regional government or the manager of the Kemetul village will able to add a playground and local culinary corner at Gazebo Kemetul Village.

Abstract

Benchmarks of the success of a tourist attraction can be seen from the involvement of the community. Community based tourism is a form of tourism development that aims to empower people in independence and decision making. This study aims to determine and analyze the involvement of local communities in the development of tourism in the Palawa’ Village and identify any obstacles that affect the involvement of local communities in the development of Palawa’ Village. This research was conducted for 6 months from September 2019. Researchers used data collection methods through interviews, observations, and documentation to the management or manager of Palawa’ Village and the community and used a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that lack of community involvement in Palawa’ Village. This is because not all communities have a traditional house (Tongkonan) so they cannot be directly involved and only become spectators in every activity that is held. The internal factors that influence community involvement are the low quality of education so that limited knowledge is very influential on how to manage good tourism businesses and existing entrepreneurial management knowledge. While externally, there is a lack of cooperation between tourism managers and outsiders such as the Culture and Tourism Office, Regional Planning Agency (Bappeda), Youth Organization and Pokdarwis. Researchers provide recommendations to managers to provide counseling or training to the community so that community knowledge about tourism is higher, Involving all communities and stakeholders in the development of Palawa’ Village attractions and increasing good cooperation between managers and outsiders.

Abstract

Cluster in Indonesia particularly in the area of Central Java in 2010 totaled 150. Based on the results of the survey in Demak, Wonosobo and Pemalang, most Clusters does not yet have a website as a media product promotion and Cluster communication. Some Cluster already leverages media Blog and facebook but the media still do not meet the expected needs because media Blog and Facebook are not a media for product promotion. This is because the limitations of cost and the scarcity of skilled human resources information technology owned by the Cluster. Therefore, this research was conducted on the design and implementation of a web application that serves as a Networking System Cluster. System development method’s using the Prototype Model. Method of MVC (Model View Controller) is used in the implementation of the system, while technology programming using CodeIgniter Framework. As a result, the system is capable of providing the website for each Cluster are listed, so it can be used as a promotional media, publications and communication between Cluster members.

Abstract

Covid-19 has an impact on the decrease in trading activity in Dusun.Srumbung Gunung, because marketing activities still rely on physical stores. The purpose of community service activities is to develop a Pasar Dusun website and train website administrators welcoming the new normality. This activity was carried out with a descriptive approach using two methods. First, mentoring was done to start the Website of Pasar Dusun. Second, the training of administrators who are in charge and responsible for managing trade transactions that occur on the website of Pasar Dusun was carried on. The result of this activity is the availability of a Dusun Market website that can be accessed on https://pasardusun.sakoo.id/. Since, August 13, 2020 to September 19, there have been 9 successful trade transactions on the website of Pasar Dusun with a total of 165 products sold. This shows the contribution of digital marketing to increase the income of villagers after Covid-19. The results of the training of administrators, website managers have been able to maintain and update information related to buying and selling activities on the website of Pasar Dusun.

Abstract

The community service activities conducted in Srumbung Gunung was to involve women. Dusun Srumbung Gunung is developing a creative peace tourism village and the tourist products developed is a package program of live. In order to involve women in tourism, the training of homestay and culinary innovation was held, in which some women lost their job due to Covid 19 Pandemic. The method used was explorative qualitative with some stages. The first stage was to identify the house availability for homestay through interview and observation. Next was to identify the ingredient available and produced locally. The third stage was to research the type of snack which can be made with the available ingredient, good flavour and good price, easy to make with simple tools. Besides, the product can be produced as typical and unique food for tourists. Following this step was to choose women involved especially those who are interested in the food business and owning basic baking skill. The fifth step was the training of homestay with the concept of Clean, Healthy, Safe and Environmentally Sustainable, the training of culinary innovation was making bolen pisang and tape. The last stage was the mentoring process of homestay and the start-up food business of bolen pisang and tape. Two of the twenty-two women joined has started to prepare the business. The results showed that women involvement in tourism limited to fund, entrepreneurship experience and skill and the responsibility as housewives.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah melakukan penyusunan dan pendampingan pengelolaan wisata live-in dusun tertinggi di lereng Merbabu, yaitu Dusun Ngaduman. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, ada tiga. Pertama, sosialisasi konsep usaha live-in. Kedua, merancang tata kelola wisata live-in Dusun Ngaduman. Ketiga, pendampingan implementasi rancangan tata kelola. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah pengurus dan anggota Karang Taruna Kridha Bhakti. 40 orang warga menjadi peserta sosialisasi konsep live-in, sedangkan pendampingan implementasi sistem tata kelola live-in dilakukan pada 30 orang pengurus Divisi Live-In. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Juni 2022 sampai dengan Agustus 2022. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman warga dusun atas usaha live-in sebanyak 87,5 persen dan tersedia dokumen sistem tata kelola live-in Dusun Ngaduman. Hasil pendampingan adalah Karang Taruna Kridha Bhakti dapat mengelola usaha live-in sesuai dengan sistem tata kelola yang dibangun pada tahap sebelumnya. Kata kunci: tata kelola; wisata live-in; dusun lereng merbabu. ABSTRACTThis community service activity aims to organize and assist the management of live-in tourism in  Dusun Ngaduman, the highest hamlet on the slopes of Merbabu Mountain. There are three methods of implementing this activity: First, the socialization of the live-in business concept.  Second, designing the management of live-in tourism in Ngaduman Hamlet. Third, assisting the implementation of the governance design. 40 people participated in the socialization of the live-in concept, while another 30 members of the Live-In Division assisted in the implementation of the live-in governance system. This community service program is implemented from June 2022 to August 2022. The result of this activity is an increase in the understanding of the hamlet residents on the live-in business by 87.5 percent and the availability of Ngaduman Dusun live-in governance system document. The result of the mentoring is that Karang Taruna Kridha Bhakti can manage live-in businesses following the governance system built in the previous stage. Keywords: governance; live-in tours; merbabu slope hamlet.

Abstract

AbstrakMunculnya pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia sejak Maret 2020 membawa dampak yang sangat signifikan bagi seluruh sektor kehidupan. Salah satunya sektor pariwisata yang terkena dampak cukup besar, dimana seluruh kegiatan industri pariwisata harus dihentikan. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mendukung program pemerintah bekerja dari rumah atau work from home selama pemberlakuan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar atau PSBB. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh gender dan usia terhadap kecenderungan berwisata selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah random probability sampling menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Sedangkan variabel bebas atau variabel independen ada dua variabel yaitu Gender (X1), (X2) adalah usia dan Kecenderungan Berwisata (Y). Hasil penelitian diperoleh usia dan gender berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kecenderungan berwisata. selama masa pandemi COVID-19.Kata Kunci: Usia, Gender, Wisata, Regresi AbstractThe emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia since March 2020 has had a very significant impact on all sectors of life. One of them is the tourism sector which is quite affected, where all tourism industry activities must be stopped. This is done to support the government's work from the home program during the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions or PSBB. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gender and age on the tendency to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. The sampling technique is random probability sampling where the Travel Tendency (Y). While the independent variable or independent variable there are two variables, namely gender (X1) and (X2) is age using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that age and gender had a significant positive effect on travel tendencies. during the COVID-19 pandemic.Keywords: Age, Gender, Travel, Regression

Abstract

 This article discusses the Peace Creative Tourism Village as a peaceful tourism destination to build peace between religions and beliefs in Indonesia. This study is motivated by the rise of identity politics after the collapse of the New Order in 1998. The rise of identity politics has triggered several inter-ethnic and religious conflicts in several regions in Indonesia. Conflicts between the Dayak tribes and Madurese migrants occurred in Kalimantan in early February 2001, Christian and Muslim conflicts in Posso in 1998, and Ambon in 1999. The state has made various efforts to maintain peace between ethnic and religions in Indonesia, but intolerance, even inter-ethnic and religious conflicts, still occur in plural Indonesia. This study discusses an alternative effort to build peace between religions and beliefs through tourist destinations. This research uses a case study qualitative method. This study found that the Peace Creative Tourism Village of Srumbung Mountain, with its tour packages: peace education, live-in, and traditional culinary and cultural festivals, can be a local contribution to building peace between religions and beliefs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Industri pariwisata di Indonesia memiliki sejumlah besar potensi yang belum dimanfaatkan. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah berupaya untuk membuat rencana pembangunan dan memperkuat posisi pariwisata Indonesia dengan mengembangkan dan membangun destinasi pariwisata yang fokus pada brand equity di destinasi wisata Labuan Bajo yang tangguh yang dapat menghasilkan peluang untuk pengembangan yang lebih baik. Hal ini dilakukan dalam rangka memperkuat posisi Indonesia di industri pariwisata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor-faktor seperti brand association, brand loyalty, brand image, dan perceived quality terhadap brands equity yang terkait dengan tujuan wisata di Labuan Bajo. Data diperoleh dengan mengirimkan kuesioner online, dan ada total 655 orang yang menjawabnya. Analisis regresi linier berganda adalah metode yang digunakan untuk proses analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, brand association, brand loyalty, brand image, dan perceived quality memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan menguntungkan terhadap brands equity di Destinasi Wisata Labuan Bajo.
