The purpose of this research was to develop an instrument of students' creative skill assessment with project based learnig approach. The method used research and development. Data collection techniques used tests and questionnaires. The population of research was all teachers and students of class III SD Negeri Gedongtataan Subdistrict. The sample of the study amounted to 88 students. The results of the study were (1) the creative skills assessment instrument with the project based learning approach, (2) the creative skills assessment instrument developed valid for measuring students 'creative skills, (3) instruments developed practically to measure students' creative skills and (4) creative skills of students who use creative skills assessment instruments through project-based learning approaches with those who do not use creative skills assessment instruments.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan instrumen penilaian keterampilan kreatif siswa dengan pendekatan project based learninig. Metode yang digunakan research and development. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh guru dan siswa kelas III SD Negeri Kecamatan Gedongtataan. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 88 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) instrumen penilaian keterampilan kreatif dengan pendekatan project based learning, (2) instrumen penilaian keterampilan kreatif yang dikembangkan valid untuk mengukur keterampilan kreatif siswa, (3) instrumen yang dikembangkan praktis untuk mengukur keterampilan kreatif siswa dan (4) ada perbedaan keterampilan kreatif siswa yang menggunakan instrumen penilaian keterampilan kreatif melalui pendekatan project based learning dengan yang tidak menggunakan instrumen penilaian keterampilan kreatif.Kata kunci: keterampilan kreatif, instrumen penilaian, project based learning
