Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and test the effect of the application of inquiry and discovery models on the learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History in MTs. As'adiyah Putri 2 Sengkang. This type of research is an ex-post facto research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students in MTs As'adiyah Putri 2 Sengkang. Sampling was done by random sampling of 66 students. The results of the study found the effect of applying the inquiry model of 21.4% and discoveri of 5.1% on the SKI learning outcomes. The effect of inquiry and discovery models on student learning outcomes in Islamic Cultural History subjects at MTs. As'adiyah Putri 2 Sengkang by 21.5%. while the remaining 78.5 percent is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This research was ex post facto applying a quantitative methodological approach and a scientific approach in psychology. There were 61 Respondents in this study obtained by proportional cluster random sampling and collected through a questionnaire. The instrument was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The statistical hypothesis testing results from F_count analysis of 0.025 and p-value = 0.000 <0.05 means that H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. It indicated an effect of students' perceptions on utilizing video and PowerPoint media with students' independent learning in PAI subjects in class XI SMA Negeri 6 Sinjai. It means a simultaneous (simultaneous) influence on students' perceptions of using video and media PowerPoint with independent learning. This study implies that Islamic Religious Education Learning was very complex in increasing students' learning independence. As anticipation, a more precise learning process was needed.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a quartet card game as a biology learning media in the excretion system subject that meets the feasibility value of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The process of developing the media uses the 4D development model, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The research subjects were students of class XI IPA 3of  East Luwu, 4 High School. The research instruments used were validation sheets, teacher workforce activity and observation sheets for students' activities as well as teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires and test items. Based on data analysis showed the validity level of quartet card game learning media is in valid category with an average value of 3.18 (x> 2.5). The results of data analysis obtained for the practicality assessment of the educator's activity sheet and the student's observation sheet and teacher's response, the practical level of the learning media are in the very high category with an average total score of 3.85 (x> 3.4). The results of data analysis obtained from student learning tests, quartet card game learning media is categorized as effective because 80.77% of students achieve classical completeness of learning and responses of students in the very positive category with a percentage of 100%. The results of this development are worth considering as one of media that can be used in the learning process in the classroom.Kata kunci:4 –D development model, quartet card game , excretion system

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Intact-Group Comparison.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmeningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa denganmelakukan penerapan strategi pembelajaran group to group exchange berbantuan media mind mapping terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas X MA Firdaus Tompobalang Kabupaten Maros. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalahseluruh siswa MA Firdaus yang berjumlah 73 siswa dan sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa.Teknik pengambilan sampel yaiturandom sampling.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 nomor. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan ditemukan bahwa hasil belajar biologi siswa yang diajar menggunakanstrategi pembelajaran group to group exchange dengan media mind mapping diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 79,7% dan standar deviasi sebesar 7,3474. Hasil belajar biologi siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode ceramah diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 73,33 dan standar deviasi sebesar 6,0785.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data statistik inferensial pada uji-t diperoleh nilai p = 0,387 untuk  = 0,05, maka secara statistik hipotesis  ditolak atau diterima. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran group to group exchange berbantuan media mind mappingberpengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study focused on students' learning outcomes from SMAN 2 in Bulukumba, who taught with magic cards media and twister games media, and the differences between the two. This quasi-experimental research has a pretest-posttest control group design. The test instrument used in this study consisted of 25 multiple-choice questions. The results showed that students who taught using magic card media were in the high category (57.14%) and very high category (42.86%). The students who taught using the twister game media were in the medium category (8.70%), high (56.52%), and very high (34.78%). According to the independent sample t-test, there was a significant level of 0.089 > 0.05. This indicates that there is no significant difference in learning outcomes between learners who taught using magic cards and learners who taught using game twister media.
