Abstract

The gampong government is a group of people the community has trusted because of their abilities and good backgrounds. In this case, the role of the gampong government is closely related to fostering religious activities. Because it is used as a guide for religious activities in the community, we want to know what roles the village government plays in fostering religious activities. The existence of religious activities is fundamental in human life, especially during a pandemic recently. This study uses a qualitative method that aims to find out the kind of activities in the village Ie Masen. This study found that teaching and learning tajwīd and reading Al-Quran activities are fully supported by the gampong Doy Banda Aceh government.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of parents in children's participation in religious activities. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that describes the facts in the field, with the problem of the role of parents in children's participation in religious activities in Jeulingke Village, Banda Aceh. The data was obtained directly from parents who have children aged 6-12 years and secondary data sources, namely supporting data in this study including books, the internet, and other relevant library materials with the focus of this research. The results of the following research are: First: the role of parents in children's participation in religious activities, namely parents foster, parents train, parents make themselves role models for their children; parents give loving attention with warmth to the child; parents are responsive to children's needs; parents encourage children to be more active in participating in religious activities. Second: The role of family education (parents) is very decisive in nurturing their children.

Abstract

The study of the potential for local content of Acehnese culture in educational institutions can be transformed into a subject of local content and school culture in order to respond to the challenges of the times and frequent curriculum changes. Qualitative research focused on two districts/cities in Aceh province, namely Banda Aceh City and Aceh Besar District. Data collection techniques in this study used three instruments, namely, interview lists, observation sheets, and documentation lists. It was found that a number of local content of Acehnese culture existed in educational institutions that were integrated with school culture, such as; a culture of prayer, a culture of learning, respecting and honoring teachers, infaq and alms within educational institutions, a clean culture, mutual cooperation, commemorating the Islamic Great Day, the Diniyah program at night for boarding schools, entrepreneurship programs (Life Skills). This has shown a transformation of the local content of Acehnese culture which is practiced in all secondary education institutions in Aceh province in order to promote Islamic symbols.

Abstract

Not all students obey the rules at school, there are still students who are not disciplined, such as students making chaos in class, disturbing friends, and so on. The application of reward and punishment is one of the strategies for inculcating student discipline. Reward (award) and punishment (punishment) are given as reinforcement and motivation for students in the learning process. To discipline students, students must consider various situations, and understand the factors that influence them, such as studying the experiences of students at school through cumulative note cards, learning the names of students directly, considering the learning environment and student environment, giving clear assignments, understandable, simple and not long-winded, passionate and enthusiastic in doing learning to be used as role models by students, making something different and varied, not monotonous, so as to help discipline and passion for learning students, make clear and firm rules so that can be carried out as well as possible by students and their environment, prepare daily activities so that what is done in learning is according to the plan, there are no many deviations, adjust arguments to the abilities of students, do not force students according to the teacher's understanding know how to measure students from the ability of their teachers, make clear and firm rules so that they can be carried out as well as possible by students and their environment.
