Abstract

Early marriage is a marriage conducted under the age of 20 years. Early marriage conducted by adolescents will have a negative impact on their health and psychology. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of counseling on adolescent’s knowledge about early marriage in SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa. This type of research is a quantitative study with a quasi experimental design. The sampling technique in the study was purposive sampling and obtained 24 respondents. Based on the results of statistical tests using the Wilcoxon test, the p value 0,000 <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of counseling on adolescent knowledge about early marriage at SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa.Pernikahan dini yaitu pernikahan yang dilakukan dibawah usia 20 Tahun. Pernikahan dini yang dilakukan oleh remaja akan berdampak negatif bagi kesehatan dan psikologinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan terhadap pengetahuan remaja tentang pernikahan dini di SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa. Jenis Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian yaitu purposive sampling dan didapatkan 24 responden. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon ditemukan p value 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya ada pengaruh penyuluhan terhadap pengetahuan remaja tentang pernikahan dini di SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa.

Abstract

Factors knowledge, age, education, and information can affect the mother does not give colostrum to newborns. As a result, mothers do not give colostrum to their babies. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge of postpartum mothers with the provision of colostrum in newborns. The type of this research was survey research with a Cross-Sectional Study approach, with a total sample of 64 postpartum mothers. The result of the research is based on Chi-Square statistical test with significance level: α = 0,05 and df = 1, it is found that X2 count X2 table (5,534 3,841) hence Ho rejected means there is a relationship between Knowledge of Post Partum Mother with Colostrum Giving to new baby Born in Mother Hospital of Gorontalo City Year 2015. Conclusion there is the relation between Knowledge of mother of postpartum By giving colostrum to a newborn baby in obstetric room General Hospital of Bunda Town Gorontalo Year 2015.
