Abstract

This study aimed to describe modern pesantren tradition that focused on the traditional values, kiai’s leadership in keeping the tradition, and modern pesantren educational orientation in the industrial revolution 4.0 era. The data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation with multi-site research. The research sites were six modern pesantren which were taken from six districts or cities in Banten province. The findings of the research were: Modern pesantren was the daily life behavior of all its residents who were attached to five souls and motto of the pondok. The leadership of the kiai was not centralized to the role of the kiai but it was distributed to the teachers, and the kiai’s role as the guardian of the modern pesantren tradition was central; the education of modern pesantren in the industrial revolution 4.0 era had experienced a shift in orientation, especially in preparing qualified graduates in the digital era. The modern pesantren did not only serve as the institution of tafaqquh fi al-din which educated students to have noble character but also prepared independent and competitive graduates in the digital era.

Abstract

The writing is based on research which describes educational quality management of MAN Insan Cendekia as one of madrasas which performs boarding school system focused on academic programs. The research findings are: The first, implementing quality management at boarding school begun with formulating strategic planning/school framework with certain steps: analysis, formulating program draft, socialization, budgeting, and documentation. The process also determines the school programs those are academic, studentship, boarding, facility and media, and networking. The second, the steps of implementation strategy are implementing and evaluating educational program quality. (1) Implementing educational program quality of boarding school begun with the procedures of socializing quality program plan, technical plan, implementation program, monitoring, supervising, and evaluation with bottom up-top down approach; (2) evaluating educational program quality systematically begun with the procedures of self-evaluation, quality internal audit, teacher’s competence evaluation, management evaluation, and external audit. The third, the supporting factors and the constraint ones in implementing educational quality management correlated with raw input, teachers, budgeting, leader’s commitment to quality, facilities, learning environment, and networking. The fourth, the strategic way to improving the educational qualities are integrating school program with boarding programs, formulating life directions, upgrading human resources and facilities/media, building school culture, and networking. Abstract

This research is motivated by the monotony of learning the subjects of aqidah morality, there are still many students who have not implemented the moral aqidah subjects, especially the material for this youth association in everyday life. Aqidah morals subject matter of adolescent association has basic competencies (KD) that should be understood and applied by Madrasah students. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the development and effectiveness of the multi-literacy learning model in the subjects of aqidah morals material for adolescent relationships at MAN 2 Serang City.This study aims to develop and measure the effectiveness of the product of a multiliterate learning model on the subject of Aqidah Morals, material for adolescent relationships at MAN 2 Serang City. The method used in this research is Research and Development or development research using Borg and Gall steps which are simplified into five stages. The results showed that menunjukkanExpert validation was carried out by two experts, namely, learning design experts and material experts. Received "good" predicate. Then, during product trials in the field, the researchers conducted online, consisting of questionnaires, small-scale tests and large-scale tests. With the following results received the predicate "Good". The conclusions obtained from this research are The development of a multiliterate learning model in the subjects of Aqeedah Akhlak, material for adolescent socialization, has been successfully developed through a research procedure based on the R&D development model and refers to the research steps according to Borg and Gall which are simplified into five stages.
