Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of religious conversion in Muslim marital life. The research used a qualitative approach. The Data collected by interviews, and observation. The number of research subjects was 5 people (1 male and 4 female). The analysis technique is achieved by a triangular approach that involves interviews, observations, and theoretical concepts. The results showed that 2 factors were influencing religious conversion, marriage, and economic factors. Subjects experienced religious conversion through a gradual process, a period of calm, conflict, religious conversion, calm, and a period of expression of religious conversion.

Abstract

Aim of this research is to know the differences of nationalism based on the parenting style. There are 121 adolescents involve in the research. Data collecting by questionarries such as parenting style and nationalism. Anova, regression and correlation are used to analysis the data. The result is, there are differences nationalism based on the parenting style (F = 3.236, p = . 043 < .05). There is correlation between authoritative parenting style and nationalism (r = .405(**), p = .000 < . 01). There is no correlation between authoritarian parenting style and nationalism (r = . 0,190, p = .810 > .05), and there is correlation between permissive parenting style and nationalism (r = . 377, P = . 0283 < .05). Beside, there is the role of authoritative parenting style on the nationalism (r2 = . 164, t = 4542, p= .000 < .01). Score r2 = . 164 means the contribution of authoritative parenting style on the nationalism is 16. 4 % and the other factors wich contribute on the nationalism is 83.6 %.Keywords: parenting style, nationalism, and adolescence.

Abstract

Aim  of this research  are to investigate the impact of friendship and emotion intelligence on the life satisfaction of adolescence.  102 adolescences  involve in the research. Data collecting by questionaries such as moral integrity, social anxiety and academic dishonesty.   Multiple correlation  was used to analysis the data. The findings suggest that there is no correlation  moral integrity and academic dishonesty of adolescences, there is correlation  between social anxiety  and academic dishonesty, and  there is  no correlation between moral integrity and social anxiety. Keywords: moral integrity, social anxiety, academic dishonesty,  late adolescence

Abstract

Education has always been one of the basic necessities of any individual’s life. Education provides opportunities for children to learn, prepare for the future, and be able to change the lives of present and future generations. With education, people can obtain academic achievements that will be useful for his life. Academic achievement in adolescents can be influenced by parenting styles. The aim of the current study is to examine the differences in academic achievement in adolescents based on parenting styles. This study utilizes quantitative data and has 386 subjects.  Data were retrieved through parenting styles questionnaires as well as grade point average (GPA). Data is processed by using One Way ANOVA. Based on the results of research, it was found that there was no differences in academic achievement in adolescents based on parenting, either by father or mother, with a p score on father parenting = .223 and the p score on mother parenting = .737.Keywords: academic achievement, parenting styles, adolescence

Abstract

ABSTRACTVillage officials (village heads, hamlet heads, village secretaries, village staff) have a strategic role to prevent early marriage in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques, namely structured interviews based on a question guide. The research subjects involved 9 people consisting of 4 village heads, 4 hamlet heads and 1 village staff. Data analysis techniques using thematic approach (thematic approach) and by using the concept of Urrie Broffenbrenner's ecological systems theory. The results of the study can be concluded that they as village officials can take practical steps, namely; (1) socializing law number 1 of 1974 concerning the minimum age for marriage is 19 years, (2) preventing (forbidding, hindering or hindering) marriage before reaching the age of 19 years, (3) encouraging citizens to participate in compulsory 12 years of education, (4) serving the provision of certificates for residents who take care of marriage dispensation letters, (5) providing special policies for residents to get married immediately, because they were pregnant before marriage. Furthermore, after doing these things, it was also found that (1) the village community has the awareness to marry at least 19 years old, (2) the community has the awareness to improve education, and, (3) the community has the awareness to avoid promiscuity. All the results of this study can be seen in this paper. Key words: village apparatus, preventing early marriage.  ABSTRAKAparatur desa (kepala desa, kepala dusun, sekretaris desa, staf desa) memiliki peran strategis untuk  mencegah perkawinan usia dini di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data yaitu wawancara terstruktur yang didasarkan pada panduan pertanyaan. Subyek penelitian melibatkan 9 orang yang terdiri dari 4 kepala desa, 4 kepala dusun dan 1 staf desa.  Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan pendekatan tematik (thematic approach). Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa mereka sebagai aparatur desa dapat melakukan langkah-langkah praktis  yaitu; (1) melakukan sosialisasi undang-undang nomor 1 tahun 1974 mengenai usia minimal menikah adalah 19 tahun, (2) mencegah (melarang, menghambat atau menghalangi) pernikahan sebelum mencapai usia 19 tahun, (3) mendorong warga untuk ikut wajib belajar 12 tahun, (4) melayani penyediaan surat keterangan bagi warga yang mengurus surat dispensasi nikah, (5) memberikan kebijakan khusus bagi warga untuk segera menikah, karena mereka sudah hamil sebelum menikah.  Selanjutnya, setelah melakukan hal-hal tersebut, maka ditemukan pula bahwa  (1) masyarakat desa memiliki kesadaran untuk menikah minimal usia 19 tahun, (2) masyarakat memiliki kesadaran untuk meningkatkan pendidikan, dan, (3) masyarakat memiliki kesadaran untuk menghindari pergaulan bebas.   Semua hasil penelitian ini dapat dilihat dalam tulisan ini. Kata-kata kunci: aparatur desa,  mencegah perkawinan usia dini.

Abstract

Bullying is behavior that is carried out by a person or group of people with the aim of hurting the heart, feelings, orphysically of another person. Bullying can be done by anyone who causes feelings of resentment, disappointment, orhurt to be felt in the victim of bullying which usually occurs due to appearance and family economic factors. Theperpetrators of bullying that occurred in the hamlets of Tegal Bedug, Tamansari, Lelea, Indramayu, West Java weremostly found in children and the victims of this bullying behavior were also children. In order to overcome theseproblems, psychological intervention ef orts were carried out 7 times meeting sessions for perpetrators and victimsof bullying which aim to provide basic knowledge about the meaning and causes of bullying, as well ascharacteristics and steps to overcome bullying behavior for perpetrators and victims of bullying Participants in thisactivity is a student of SD Negeri 02 Tamansari grade 5-6 aged 11-13 years who is a perpetrator and victim ofbullying behavior. The measuring instrument used to determine the ef ectiveness of the psychological interventionprogram is a questionnaire given before (pre-test) and after the activity (post-test). The results of the psychologicalintervention showed that the perpetrators of bullying were able to provide cognitive understanding and could reducetheir bullying behavior. Victims of bullying are also increasingly assertive in defending themselves, fighting back, orsaying the right thing to the bully. ABSTRAK: Perundungan merupakan perilaku yang dilakukan oleh seseorang atau sekelompok orang dengan tujuan untukmenyakiti hati, perasaan, atau fisik orang lain. Perundungan dapat dilakukan oleh siapa pun yang menyebabkanmunculnya perasaan dendam, kecewa, atau sakit hati pada korban perundungan yang biasanya terjadi dikarenakanpenampilan dan faktor ekonomi keluarga. Pelaku perundungan yang terjadi di dusun Tegal Bedug, Tamansari, Lelea,Indramayu, Jawa Barat banyak ditemukan pada anak-anak dan korban dari perilaku perundungan tersebut pun jugaanak-anak. Ternyata anak-anak yang menjadi pelaku perundungan maupun korban perundungan adalah anak-anakyang orang tuanya meninggalkan dusunnya. Guna untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan upayaintervensi psikologis 7 kali sesi pertemuan terhadap pelaku maupun korban perundungan yang bertujuan untukmemberikan pengetahuan dasar mengenai pengertian dan sebab perundungan, serta karakteristik danlangkah-langkah mengatasi perilaku perundungan untuk pelaku dan korban perundungan Partisipan dalam kegiatanini merupakan siswa SD Negeri 02 Tamansari kelas 5-6 yang berusia 11-13 tahun yang menjadi pelaku dan korbanperilaku perundungan. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengetahui efektivitas program intervensi psikologis adalahkuesioner yang diberikan sebelum (pre-test) dan sesudah kegiatan (post-test). Hasil intervensi psikologismenunjukkan bahwa pelaku perundungan mampu memberikan pemahaman kognitif dan dapat menurunkan perilakuperundungannya. Korban perundungan juga semakin bersikap asertif untuk membela diri, melawan, ataumengatakan hal yang benar terhadap pelaku perundungan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) tematik sebagai penguatan pendidikan karakter resiliensi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan catatan dokumentasi. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 24 orang mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Tarumanagara Jakarta, yang mengikuti kegiatan KKN Tematik di Desa Tamansari, Kecamatan Lelea, Kabupaten Indramayu, Jawa Barat. Teknik analisa dengan menggunakan pendekatan tematik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kuliah kerja nyata tematik sebagai penguatan pendidikan karakter resiliensi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Tamansari Village is part of the Lelea sub-district which is located in Indramayu Regency, West Java. Through brief interviews with several students, indications of behavior that could be classified as bullying behavior were found. Responding to this, the student's parents instilled the values of self-resilience into their son's life.One of the external factors that can help build child resilience is the family. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is a relationship between parental involvement and resilience in children in Tamansari village. This study used a quantitative approach with 140 elementary school students participating, this research was non-experimental. Participants' ages in this study range between nine to 14 years old. This study also consists of 59 male students and 81 female students. This study also consists of third graders to sixth graders. This study used a purposive sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to elementary school children in grades four, five and six. This study used two measuring instruments, namely the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) adjusted by Campbell-Stein (2007)and also a questionnaire developed by Campbell et al. (1985). The results of the correlation test showed that there was a relationship between parental involvement and resilience in children in Tamansari village (r = 0.169, p = 0.05, p 0.046).
