Abstract

The development of science and technology can not replace the meaning of traditional medicine. Some people choose traditional medicine that have less side effects, is also related to the community's beliefs. Thus, the present study will basically try to answer such questions as: What is a badewah? How is the meaning of badewah for the Moslems communty of Muara Teweh? The study was conducted in North Barito District, Central Kalimantan. The research data consists of language, action, experience and history. The result of research as: badewah is a traditional treatment by praying to the God for healhty. Badewah treats the irrational disease and eternal disease. Muslim community in Muara Teweh choose badewah as an alternative treatment solution and interpreted as a multi-function card. Badewah has been interpreted differently by the patient. The meaning is reflected in their goals and expectations. Dayak tribe believe, if suffering from disease, before or after coming to the doctor or hospital, they are also seeking for alternative treatments such as medicines kampong and traditional healer. [Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi tidak bisa menggantikan makna pengobatan tradisional. Sebagian orang memilih pengobatan tradisional yang memiliki efek samping lebih sedikit, juga terkait dengan kepercayaan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini pada dasarnya akan mencoba menjawab permasalahan: Apa itu badewah? Bagaimana makna badewah bagi umat Muslim di Muara Teweh? Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Barito Utara, Kalimantan Tengah. Data penelitian terdiri dari bahasa, tindakan, pengalaman dan sejarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan badewah adalah pengobatan tradisional dengan cara berdoa kepada Tuhan untuk kesehatan. Badewah dilakukan untuk mengobati penyakit irasional dan penyakit yang tak kunjung sembuh. Komunitas Muslim di Muara Teweh memilih badewah sebagai solusi pengobatan alternatif dan ditafsirkan sebagai kartu multi-fungsi dan berbeda oleh pasien. Makna pemilihan pengobatan tradisional tercermin dalam tujuan dan harapan mereka. Suku Dayak percaya, jika menderita penyakit, sebelum atau sesudah datang ke dokter atau rumah sakit, mereka juga mencari pengobatan alternatif seperti obat-obatan kampung dan tabib tradisional.]

Abstract

The multidimensional crisis that is currently happening to the Indonesian state, if we look for the causes of the problem, comes from weak development of the nation and character which causes moral and moral shifts for the nation's successors such as becoming perpetrators of physical and psychological violence. This study aims to describe the Islamic character of students at Sekolah Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya and to describe the formation of Islamic character in students through religious culture at Sekolah Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that: 1) the character of the students at Sekolah Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya can be said to have good Islamic character. This can be seen from their independent attitude which spontaneously applies religious habituation activities in behaving so that they are well organized without any encouragement or coercion. 2) the formation of the Islamic character of students through religious culture at Sekolah Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya, namely when reciting the Koran, traveling around nature, camping and exploring the environment around the school, praying dhuha in congregation, shaking hands and greeting teachers and students and teachers of the opposite sex do not shake hands directly . In addition, love the environment by disposing of trash in its place.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang unik dengan masyarakat yang beragam. Negeri ini memiliki 17.000 pulau, berbagai suku, dan berbagai bahasa yang berbeda. Ada 5 (lima) agama yang dianut oleh masyarakat Indonesia, yaitu Islam, Kristen, Katolik, Hindu, Budha, dan Konghucu. Kemajemukan ini tentu tidak terlepas dari problematika di dalamnya salah satunya adalah soal agama. Mengatasi berbagai konflik keberagaman yang ada di Indonesia, upaya menghindari konflik dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama kepada masyarakat merupakan hal yang strategis untuk dilakukan. Moderasi beragama dikembangkan untuk memperkuat toleransi dan merevolusi mentalitas masyarakat untuk menghadapi kehidupan masyarakat yang majemuk dan majemuk. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi literatur. Metode pendekatan yang dipakai pada penelitian ini berupa deskriptif kualitatif sebab penelitian ini menjabarkan data yang menjelaskan secara mendalam dalam bentuk tulisan, bukan data yang tersusun dari angka. Hasil Penelitian Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memberikan penguatan tentang moderasi dalam beragama pada siswa di lingkungan SMAN 1 Pulang pisau sesuai dengan pemahaman Islam yang sebenarnya.

Abstract

Converts are people who need the teachings of Islam. The Indinesian Mualaf Center (MCI) which is intensifying the guidance for converts to Islam in Palangka Raya. Coaching is a structured activity carried out by a person or institution to help certain groups to strengthen the weak and maintain the strong in certain cases to gain knowledge about certain objects. Coaching at MCI Palangka Raya is one form of effort to replenish the faith of converts which sometimes go up and down. The purpose of this study, 1) to identify the impact of coaching on converts to worship at the Indonesian Mualaf Center in Palangka Raya. 2) to analyze the obstacles and solutions for the development of converts worship at the Indonesian Mualaf Center in Palangka Raya. The results of this study describe that: 1) The impact of coaching converts to worship at MCI Palangka Raya is that converts worship has increased with increasing knowledge about worship and the right practice of worship. Converts are also more enthusiastic in participating in coaching because they feel that by following coaching converts will get more knowledge so that worship will also increase. When converts do not follow the guidance, their knowledge of worship that should be carried out by Muslims will decrease. 2) The obstacle in implementing the coaching process at MCI Palangka Raya is the coaching schedule which sometimes clashes between the instructors and converts. The solution to these obstacles is to give understanding to converts that if they follow the coaching, they will get extraordinary learning and experience. Thus, they adjust the schedule between the instructors and converts.
