Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk pertunjukan Fragmen Sumilake Pedhut Katangga dalam upacara ritual bathok bolu di Desa Sambiroto- Purwomartani- Kalasan- Sleman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sambiroto- Purwomartani- Kalasan- Sleman. Sebagai subyek penelitian adalah juru kunci Keraton Bathok Bolu, dan para sesepuh di Desa Sambiroto, serta dari Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Sleman. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara: studi pustaka, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Pendekatan penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menyebutkan bahwa, Pertunjukan fragmen sumilake pedhut katangga dalam upacara ritual bathok bolu dilaksanakan setiap setahun sekali pada tanggal sepuluh sura. Tradisi ini dilakukan dalam rangka bersih desa yang dilaksanakan di kraton kajiman alas katangga. Kesenian ini juga berfungsi sebagai apresiasi masyarakat, sebagai hiburan, sebagai presentasi estetis, penunjang ekonomi, dan sebagai identitas kekuasaan pemerintah. Kata Kunci: fragmen sumilake pedhut katangga, seni ritual, dan seni tontonan.

Abstract

This research was aimed at improving learning motivation to danceand finding a learning model which is appropriate to State Junior High SchoolStudents in Yogyakarta.The steps of the research were adopted from a design model developedby Kemmis Mc.Taggart. It consists of four components, namely plan, action,observation and reflection, which form a chain in a cycle. The instruments of theresearch include class observation sheets, field notes and questionnaires. Themotivation improvement was measured through the learning process and result.The aspects measured in the learning process are attention, relevance,self-confidence and satisfaction. The learning result was evaluated through live artappreciation activities, which were also recorded in video. It was known that theroutine activities could increase the students’ learning motivation to dance.Key words: learning motivation, art appreciation
