Abstract

Koperasi Sahabat Sejahtera as the division of post-harvest processing and marketing Appoli face some productions problems namely unavailability ofproduction equipment ranging from the drying process up to packaging. Postharvest equipment owned is the result of the hire from Tani Makmurusing system-processing services. This condition affected the efficiency of the business, the quantity of cooperative's income and the quantity of cooperative members. In order to overcome these problems some community services conducted as follows: (1) The introduction of post harvest handling technologies include: grading tool and blower mounted on a grading tool, table sorting, pallet, digital scales, water tested MD 7822; (2) increasing marketing quality through producing of a media campaign and improving the quality of the packages. The findings are Appoli able to increase production capacity and enhance its role in the development of organic rice and highly motivated to promote organic agriculture and increase farmers' income

Abstract

Appoli (Boyolali Organic Rice Farmers Alliance) is an organization that functions to provide a forum for farmers in joint marketing and improving the quality of agricultural products. In developing Appoli's product marketing, there are several problems including the low competitiveness of products, especially packaging that is not yet marketable and their limited marketing reach. From the packaging side, the problem faced is the limitations of the packaging equipment, do not have the product and brand labels that characterize and characterize the products from Apoli. Website-based or digital-based information and marketing systems are needed to reach a wider market, not only regional markets but are expected to be able to reach markets outside the region or nationally. To overcome these problems, several activities were carried out, namely: 1) introduction of vacuum packaging equipment and the addition of plastic packaging 2) introduction of attractive and safe product packaging design 3) label and brand improvement 4) development of Appoli's product marketing website. It is expected that from a number of planned activities to be introduced, Appoli is able to increase product competitiveness and expand its marketing reach through digital marketing so that it can ultimately increase the income of the farming community.

Abstract

Appoli (Aliansi Petani Beras Organik Boyolali) merupakan organisasi yang berfungsi sebagai wadah bagi para petani dalam pemasaran bersama dan peningkatan kualitas hasil pertanian. Dalam mengembangkan pemasaran produk Appoli terdapat beberapa kendala antara lain rendahnya daya saing produk terutama kemasan yang belum menjual dan jangkauan pemasarannya yang terbatas. Dari sisi pengemasan, permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan peralatan pengemasan, belum adanya label produk dan merek yang menjadi ciri produk dari Appoli. Sistem informasi dan pemasaran berbasis website atau digital sangat dibutuhkan untuk menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas, tidak hanya pasar regional tetapi diharapkan mampu menjangkau pasar luar daerah atau nasional. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dilakukan beberapa kegiatan yaitu: 1) pengenalan peralatan pengemas vakum dan penambahan kemasan plastik 2) pengenalan desain kemasan produk yang menarik dan aman 3) perbaikan label dan merek 4) pengembangan website pemasaran produk Appoli. Kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pendapatan Appoli dari penjualan beras putih organik, beras merah organik dan beras hitam organik, serta meluasnya pemasaran mereka dengan hadirnya produk beras organik mereka di pasar online.
