Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kompetensi pedagogik guru matematika SMP di Kabupaten Buol, Sulawesi Tengah, Indonesia dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan populasi penelitian adalah seluruh guru matematika SMP di Kabupaten Buol. Subjek utama dalam penelitian ini adalah guru matematika sebanyak 32 orang dan subjek pendukungnya adalah siswa dimana guru matematika tersebut bertugas sebanyak 970 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan nontes dengan instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket dan lembar soal. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitaif dan kualitatif. Kompetensi pedagogik diukur melalui penilaian sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan guru matematika dalam merancang, melaksanakan, mengevaluasi, dan refleksi hasil evaluasi pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru matematika SMP di Kabupaten Buol, Sulawesi Tengah berada pada kategori cukup. Pedagogical competence of junior high school mathematics teachers in Buol Regency of Central Sulawesi in implementing Curriculum 2013 AbstractThis study was aimed to describe the level of pedagogical competence of junior high school mathematics teachers in Buol Regency, Central Sulawesi Province of Indonesia, in implementing Curriculum 2013. This study was a survey research using a descriptive model of qualitative and quantitative approach. Population in this research were junior high school mathematics teachers in Buol Regency. The main subjects of research were 32 mathematics teachers and the proponent subjects were 970 students who were taught by its mathematics teachers. The data collection was conducted using the test and non-test and the instruments used were a questionnaire sheet and a test sheet. Pedagogical competence was measured by assessing the attitudes, knowledge, and skills of mathematics teachers in designing, implementing, evaluating, and reflecting the results of the evaluation. The results show that pedagogical competence of junior high school mathematics teachers in Buol Regency in the category “enough”.
