Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the development of visiting archipelago tourists from Jambi City to TNKS, factors that influence, and willingness to pay. The data used are secondary from BPS and primary data from questionnaires and direct interviews with a sample of 39. The sampling methods used was purposive sampling. The data an analysis tools are used is descriptive and quantitave analysis’s with multiple linear analysis. The resulth of this study indicate, the average development of tourists visiting the archipelago is 24,82%, the average hotel rates is 5,70%, the average number of private vehicles in Jambi City is 22,64%, the average productive populasi of Jambi City is 1,8%. The simultaneous all variables have a positive and signifikan effect. While partially the average hotel rates in Kerinci has a negative and insignificant effect, while the number of private vehicles in Jambi City and productive populasi of Jambi City have a positive and significant. Willingness to pay/WTP recorded at Rp. 4.026.375,- with an average of Rp. 2.647,- per person. Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the development, contribution and effectiveness of Urban-Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) in Tanjung Jabung Barat District, (2) factors that influence PBB-P2 revenue. The data used are secondary data of Tanjung Jabung Barat District during the period 2004 - 2013. Data is sourced from the Central Statistics Agency and the Regional Revenue Service of Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. The analysis tool uses descriptive statistics and multiple regression. The results of the study found: 1) based on its development, PBB-P2 is a very potential tax revenue in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, however, the contribution of PBB-P2 revenue to categorized PAD is very low. The effectiveness of PBB-P2 revenue is categorized as ineffective and tends to be not optimal in achieving the targets set 2) Simultaneously GDP per capita and the number of PBB-P2 taxpayers have a significant effect on PBB-P2 revenue, whereas only partially per capita GRDP has a significant effect

Abstract

This resource conducted to analyze the factors that influence investment in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia, analyze influence of investment the manufacturing industry to economic growth and employment of manufacturing in Indonesia. This resource uses approach of simultaneous with two stage square method (2SLS). The result shows that investment in the manufacturing industry simultaneously influenced by interest rate, exchange rate, and manufacturing industry employment. That infestation used as one of component of economic development an area because through investment, production capacity can be improved, then can be improved the output, which will eventually increase the economic growth and the manufacturing industry employment in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine the economic growth in Jambi Province and the factors that influence it. The variables of this research are economic growth, investment, primary industry sector investment, secondary industry sector investment, and tertiary industry sector investment as research variables. The research model is multiple linear analysis to determine the effect of primary, secondary and tertiary sector industry investment on economic growth in Jambi Province. Based on the regression result, only the research variable of realization of primary industry sector investment, which significantly influences economic growth in Jambi Province. While investment in secondary and tertiary industry sectors did not significantly affect economic growth in Jambi Province.
