Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of concept attainment model and mathematical logic intelligence on the learning outcomes of introductory chemistry. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a 2x2 treatment by level design.  Total samples are 56 students selected by random sampling. Data analysis used ANOVA with a significance of 0.05. The results showed that: (1) The introductory chemistry learning outcomes of students taught with the concept achievement learning model are higher than those acquainted with the direct learning model;  (2) There is the effect of the interaction between learning models and mathematical logic intelligence to study introductory chemistry learning outcomes;  (3) The student of learning outcomes  taught with the concept attainment model are higher than those taught with the direct learning model for groups of students  high logical-mathematical intelligence; (4) The student of learning outcomes  taught with the concept attainment model are lower than those taught with the direct learning model for groups of students low logical-mathematical intelligence. Therefore, the use of the learning model should care to aspects of intelligence of learners, so that the learning objectives are expected to be achieved.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the improvement of students’ learning outcomes using reciprocal teaching model. The improvement is measured based on the results of pre-test and posttest. 24 students of XI class at SMA Negeri 4 Wangi-Wangi taking sciences major participated in this study. This one group pre-test & post-test research design used an instrument (test) in the form of multiple-choice questions. The questions were constructed by considering the cognitive level in Bloom taxonomy. The study reveals that students’ improvement falls in the moderate category with the N-gain score of 0.69. The study also uncovered that students’ ability in answering questions decreases with the increase in the cognitive level of the questions

Abstract

Pemanfaatan microsoft office 365TM bagi tenaga pendidik di MAN 1 Kendari bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran online serta meningkatkan literasi media digital ke dalam aktivitas belajar mengajar sehari-hari sehingga tercipta classroom online yang menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna, ekonomis, serta sumber belajar yang multikonten (suara, gambar, video, dan tautan laman). Sasaran pengabdian adalah tenaga pendidik yang berasal dari guru di MAN 1 Kendari yang mencakup guru kelas maupun guru perwalian. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan berbagai metode mulai dari survei/observasi, koordinasi bersama mitra, demonstrasi/ unjuk kerja dan pendampingan secara langsung kepada peserta workshop pada proses pengoperasian Microsoft® Office 365TM oleh anggota tim pelaksana pengabdian. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan keberhasilan dengan indikasi keberhasilan rata-rata di atas 50%  pada pengoperasian setingkat mahir fitur Teams 80%, Powerpoint 80%,  Sway 73,3%  dan One Drive 86,7% dari jumlah keseluruhan peserta workshop. Hasil kegiatan pelaksanaan telah diterbitkan melalui media online dan cetak.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan model Problem Based Learning dan respon siswa pada pembelajaran Elektrolit dan Nonelektrolit. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XIPA 3 SMAN 3 Konawe Selatan sebanyak 27 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pree Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One-group Pre-test Post-test Design. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa soal pilihan ganda, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru, serta angket respon siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Problem Based Learning meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dari rata-rata 28,15 menjadi 81,48 dengan efektivitas 0,76 (tinggi) dan respon siswa sebesar 78,94%.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian “Penggunaan Teknik Self Assessment dan Peer Assessment pada Penilaian Kinerja Peserta Didik dalam Pembelajaran Kimia Kelas X pada Materi Larutan Elektrolit dan Non Elektrolit di SMAN 3 Konawe Selatan” Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan peserta didik dalam melakuakan  penilaian kinerja berbasis Self assessment dan Peer assessment dan mendeskripsikan ketercapaian penggunaan penilaian kinerja berbasis Self assessment dan Peer assessment . Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XIPA 3 SMA Negeri 3 Konawe Selatan sebanyak 27 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan isntrumen penelitian berupa angket penilaian kinerja Self assessment dan Peer assessment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Tingkat kemampuan peserta didik termasuk kategori sangat tinggi dan tinggi pada ketiga komponen aspek penilaian kinerja teknik Self assessment dan Peer assessment (2) Tingkat ketercapaian penilaian kinerja dengan interpretasi baik yaitu diperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan dalam  Self assessment sebesar 78% peserta didik kategori sangat tinggi dan 22% peserta didik kategori tinggi. Dan pada penilaian Peer assessment sebear 85% peserta didik dengan kategori sangat tinggi dan 15% peserta didik kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the learning outcomes, effectiveness, and significant differences between printed worksheets on electrolytic cell material and interactive student worksheets based on discovery learning. This research is in a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research instrument consisted of multiple-choice test questions with research subjects in classes XII MIPA 6 and XII MIPA 8 at Public High School 1 Kendari. Data analysis techniques consisted of descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. According to the investigation's findings, students who used interactive student worksheets based on discovery learning and supported by Live Worksheets with printed student worksheets experienced increased post-test learning outcomes. Still, the increase in the experimental class was higher than in the control class. As a result, Live Worksheets-assisted interactive student worksheets based on discovery learning on electrolytic cell material are helpful in education because they can enhance student learning outcomes.
