Abstract

Protein is a macromolecule having base goods 20 kinds of amino acid. Protein has main role in biological system in every organism, some between it is as catalyst, as conveyor and depositor of other molecule like oxygen, supports mechanically impenetrability system (immunity) body, yields movement of body, as transmitor movement of nerve and controls growth and development. Existence of the biological function becomes base in classification for protein. This article explained about one of type from protein namely collagen. Solution about collagen in this article include;covers special and common of collagen and collagen structure. Conclusion from this article inter alia: collagen is material having strength of spread and structure which is in the form of fibre, collagen is main fibre component in bone, tooth, cartilage, skin layer in derm, tendon cartilage and eyepiece, collagen fibril consisted of polypeptide unit sub called tropokolagen which consist of three polypeptide chains which called helix, existence of collagen that is unsatisfying perfect in the forming can cause disease like scurvy, that marked by venous damage and skin structure.

Abstract

The increasing of human population growth in the world causes increasingly height of requirement of goods and service. Accomplishment requirement of goods and service will be able to fulfilled if production of the goods and service is done on a large scale. Produce of goods and service requires input raw material obtained from exploitation resources of natures which there in ecosystem. The exploitation causes lowering ecosystem service and that thing experiences affecting globally. Global impact of which can be make a phenomenon, it is called global climatic change. In this article explained about some related of degradation ecosystem service and increasing global climate change. Some the things namely: understanding of global climate change, ecosystem and its component and process, degradation of service ecosystem as caused of human activity and degradation of ecosystem service can increase the global climate change. Conclusion in this article are the of global climate change happened, caused of human activity to exploiting source of natures and that activity done to increase product goods and service.

Abstract

This studi aimed to describe about the pattern and bioecology of ferns (Pteridophyta) in the sanctuary area of Ambang mountain, part of east Bolaang Mongondow district. It was a descriptive research through survey method and the data were collected through purposive sampling technique. It was divided into 5 stations; each of them 10 plots of sampling. The data were analyzed with morista index formula. The results indicated that there were 21 kinds of ferns, i.e. Asplenium nidus, Drymoglosum piloselloides, Microsorum pustulatum, Selaginella wildenowii, Adiantum peruvianum, Pyrrosia sp, Angiopteris agustifolia, Polypodium sinuosum, Lygodium sp, Dipteris conjugata, Thelypteris paleata, Davallia trichomanoides, Cyathea sp, Gleichenia linearis, Dicranopteris dichotoma, Goiophlebium persicifolium, Hymenophyllum australe, Blechnum capense, Lycopodium sp.1, Lycopodium sp.2, Dicranopteris linearis. Each of ferns gets 0 which means a clumped dissemination pattern. There ara two bioecology factor; biotic factor (habitus or subtract of pteridophyta, because beside pteridophyta terrestrial, there are pteridophyta epifit too. This petridophyta grow in body of host plant (Eucalypthus urophylla, Leucaena leucocephala, Pandanus tectoricus, Calophyllum inophyllum, Coffea arabica, Eugenia aromaticum).abiotic factor are tempherature, humidity, and light intensity.

Abstract

The aim of the study to determine the composition and abundance of Crustacea and Polychaeta based Mangrove stands in the village of Bulalo Kwandang District of North Gorontalo regency. The research conducted over four months. The method used is survey method and techniques of data collection was done by using a sample square. The data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. The results showed that crustacea species which consists of 3 family, that is Portunidae, Sesarmidae, Ocypodidae, while the Polychaeta only one family that is Capitellidae family. At station 1 species which have the highest index of abundance that is Sesarma sp. Indv/m2 and 0.189 for species that have the lowest abundance index of 0.023 Indv/m2 Scylla serata. While at the station two species that have the highest abundance index Sesarma sp. of 0.188 Indv/m2 which has an index of abundance and low of Scylla serata the abundance index of 0.020 Indv/m2. The most abundance species found in the Rhizophora sp stands. Where species of the least discovered that the stand Avicenia sp.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the community structure of soil Collembola found in Tangale Nature Preserve. The method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative data collection using the line transect is divided into two stations and each station there were 10 sampling plots, using a trap. Data were processed using the formula struktrur community dominance index (ID), Diversity Index (H?), abundance index (J?) and the Density Index (Di) . The results showed that the structure of soil Collembola communities in the Nature Preserve in the midle categories being Tangale. If viewed from the diversity index shows the number 1.377 and 1.374. To the dominance of family Entomobryidae sp. 1 with 0.015 Indv/m2 dominance index, family Entomobryidae sp. 2 with 0.013 Indv/m2 dominance index, family Entomobryidae sp. 3 with 0.07 Indv/m2 dominance index, and family Paronellidae 0.014 sp Indv/m2 dominance index. With an average of 0.253 Indv/m2. for the abundance, family Entomobryidae sp. 1 at 0.512 Indv/m2, and which has the lowest abundance value of the index family believe Entomobryidae sp. 3 of 0.458 Indv/m2. As for the value of the density of family Entomobryidae sp. 1 with a density of 0.0098 Indv/m2 index, family Entomobryidae sp. 2 with a density of 0.0098 Indv/m2 index, family Entomobryaidae sp. 3 with a density of 0.0012 Indv/m2 index, and family Paronellidae sp index Indv/m2 density of 0.0098. The results showed that the structure of soil Collembola communities in the Nature Preserve in the midle categories being Tangale.

Abstract

Analysis of Mangrove Ecosystem Potential as Carbon Absorbent, For Development of Textbook Material On Ecology Course". Thesis of Graduate Program of State University of Gorontalo (UNG). The principal supervisor was. Prof. Dr. Ramli, Utina, M.Pd. and the co-supervisor was Dr. Elya Nusantari, M.Pd. This study aims To determine the quality of textbooks based on research for the development of teaching materials on the subject of ecology subject matter and energy. Development of research-based learning tools of subject matter and Energy using R D model through 10 steps of development then simplified on three stages, namely (1) exploration stage, (2) prototype development stage, and (3) product validation stage, As for the products produced in this study is a textbook. The resulting product development is then validated by material experts, design experts, and students. The result of the research shows that (1) textbook based on research according to the material expert from the whole aspect of assessment for the validation of textbook is 93.75% including excellent quality, because it is in the range of 81% to 100%, (2) For the validation of textbook design is 91.67%, including excellent quality, because it is in the range of 81% to 100%, (3) student response to the overall quality of textbook aspect is at 94% percentage where this value belongs to very good category because it is In the range of 81 to 100%.

Abstract

Environmental quality is resultant from various conditions which caused by event of in natures and also cause of activie of human. One of a real problems related to condition and environmental quality is management of natural resources. In management of natural resources, balance between exploitings and continuity is important prerequisite. Existence of exploiting of natural resources and environment having the character of eksploitatif will affect to environmental quality. Management of natural resources required some policies, two among others is exploiting policy and observation policy. In this article explained about the policies. Conclusion from this article; exploiting of natural resources and environment having the character of eksploitatif, causes the balance and continuity annoyed; required various strategic steps and. action according to development of natural resources and environmental; observation policy of natural resources is interpreted as straightening of law in environmental management and natural resources; coordination effort between between institute which related in exploiting of natural resources is required.
