Abstract

Background. Factors influencing the selection of contraceptive methods used were prediction The low utilization of MKJP KB is caused by several factors. Factors influencing the selection of contraceptive methods used were prediction factors (age, education, number of children, knowledge, attitude), supporting factors (availability of contraceptives, house distance to puskesmas, travel time and cost), driving factors (health care support) . Acceptors who choose non-long-term contraceptives mention the reasons for choosing a family planning method because they do not need to show genitals in their installation. Long-term contraceptive methods (MKJPs) are users of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and implants 221,824 (23.74%) and non-users of contraceptive methods long term 712,481 (76.26%) Aim. Knowing what factors cause low use of long-term contraceptives in Trucuk Health Center of Klaten Regency. Research methods. This research uses descriptive method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all family planning acceptors of Non Long Term Contraceptive Method (MKJP) in Trucuk I District Health Center of Klaten Regency on January 1 to November 2016, with 1,631 people, 86 samples. Sampling technique purposive sampling. Data analysis using frequency distribution. Research Result. Factors influencing the selection of contraceptive methods used were prediction factors (age is 46,5%, education is 44,2%, number of children is 65,1%, knowledge is 69,8%), supporting factors is 77,9% (availability of contraceptives, house distance to public health, travel time and cost), driving factors (health care support). Conclusion. The level of knowledge about family planning is sufficient, husband support is good, social culture is not good.

Abstract

Background: Breast care during pregnancy is an important part of the mother's care as preparation for breastfeeding. If during pregnancy the mother does not perform breast care and breast care is only done after delivery will cause some problems such as breast milk does not come out, nipples sometimes not prominent, milk production a little. Nipple not menonjl cause baby difficult to suck, milk production little or not smooth so not enough to meet baby needs. Objective: To know the influence of pregnant woman's behavior on knowledge of breast care I Puskesmas Jogonalan I Klaten. Research Method: using quantitative descriptive research method. The population in this study were all pregnant women from the first trimester to the third trimester who checked in the KIA Polyclinic Puskesmas Jogonalan I Klaten. The sampling technique was simple random sampling with the number of samples of 44 respondents. The instruments in this study were closed questionnaires. Result: There is an influence of education to knowledge of breast care at Puskesmas Jogonalan I Klaten with p value <0,05 (0,010 <0,05), there is no effect of job to knowledge of breast care at Puskesmas Jogonalan I Klaten with p value> 0, 05 (0,465> 0,05), there is influence of earnings to knowledge of breast care at puskesmas Jogonalan I Klaten with p value <0,05 (0,031 <0,05). Conclusion: There is influence of pregnant woman's behavior toward knowledge of breast care at Puskesmas Jogonalan I Klaten.

Abstract

Picky eating is one of the problems of eating disorders. The distinctive feature ofpicky eater is the lack of interest in the general food menu or avoid to try new food, sincetoddler with picky eating only interested in certain food menus. Toddler with picky eating tend to have a habit to refuse picking food so it can cause low food intake and will have an impact on nutritional status.To determine the association of picky eating behaviour to nutritional status in Early Childhood educstion Programs Salman AlFarisi hamlet Tawang Rejo village Pagutan subdistrict Manyaran regency Wonogiri.This study was an observational study with cross sectional approach. Atotal of 59 respondents were selectedusing systematic random sampling. Behaviour of picky eater were obtained from ChildEating Behaviour Questionnaire, nutritional status data were obtained from measurement of body weight which then interpreted using weight to age indicator. Data were analyzed sing Pearson Product Moment. 88.1% ofthe respondents were categorized as picky eater. 66.1% were considered to have a good nutritional status, 3.4% were classified as overnutrition and the 30.5% ofthe respondents were categorized as under-nutrition. Noassociation was found between picky eating behaviour and nutritional status of toodlersin Pagutan Manyaran Wonogiri. (p = 0,888)
