Abstract

Planning, developing, and updating software cannot be separated from the role of the database. From various types of databases, graph databases are considered to have various advantages over their predecessor, relational databases. Graph databases then become the latest trend in the software and data science industry, apart from the development of graph theory itself. The proliferation of research on GDB in the last decade raises questions about what topics are associated with GDB, what industries use GDB in its data processing, what the GDB models are, and what types of GDB have been used most frequently by users in the last few years. This article aims to answer these questions through a Literature Review, which is carried out by determining objectives, determining the limits of review coverage, determining inclusion and exclusion criteria for data retrieval, data extraction, and quality assessment. Based on a review of 60 studies, several research topics related to GDB are Semantic Web, Big Data, and Parallel computing. A total of 19 (30%) studies used Neo4j as their database. Apart from Social Networks, the industries that implement GDB the most are the Transportation sector, Scientific Article Networks, and general sectors such as Enterprise Data, Biological data, and History data. This Literature Review concludes that research on the topic of the Graph Database is still developing in the future. This is shown by the breadth of application and the variety of new derivatives of GDB products offered by researchers to address existing problems.

Abstract

In today's era, we can do mobilization activities anytime and anywhere. Especially with the cloud computing system that makes it easy to interact from one computer to another without consuming a lot of money. This allows us to access data and information from computers or accounts that are connected. Google Drive is a data storage and synchronization service provided by Google. Where every user can use cloud computing in the form of file sharing and editing collaboration. The purpose of this paper is to find out how the challenges and solutions for data security and user privacy are on the Google Drive platform.

Abstract

In general, fungal skin disease is not a deadly disease. Most people who have been infected often leave it alone and think that the disease will heal on its own. However, if left untreated or without prompt treatment, the impact can worsen the patient's condition, one of which is permanent baldness if the fungal skin disease infects the scalp. The importance of early detection and treatment of fungal skin diseases is essential. While the current process requires a person to go to a hospital or a skin and genital specialist doctor, so they have to spend time and money to do early detection and treatment, the availability of expert doctors or experts who know a particular field is quite limited. At the same time, many patients must be diagnosed with the disease immediately and treated immediately. In a clinic, medical officers often experience difficulties when receiving patients who complain of skin diseases caused by fungi.

Abstract

The Sahabat Sampulo Foundation is dedicated to supporting and empowering underprivileged individuals by providing them with opportunities to engage in productive activities. However, the process of selecting the most suitable individuals for various productive projects can be challenging due to the large number of applicants and the diverse range of skills required. To address this issue, a Decision Support System (DSS) utilizing the Profile Matching Method is proposed. Making decisions is one of the most basic things in everyday life, in the decision-making process humans are often faced with many alternatives to choose from, so that in a problem, several decision makers can make different decisions. The advancement of this technology has also been put to good use by the Sahabat Sampulo Foundation to determine the selection of productive and unproductive employees. Because it still uses traditional methods subjectively and manually, from these problems a system is needed that can help determine employee data decisions for the Sahabat Sampulo Foundation. This Profile Matching method compares the value and actual data of a profile that will be assessed with the profile value that is applied.

Abstract

The dictionary is one of the instruments that can be used so that language differences are not an interaction obstacle. However, the Bugis Language Dictionary is only available in certain places, such as language centers, and is not widely known by the native Bugis community or outsiders. In addition to the rare number, the Bugis language dictionary is still in the form of a thick book, so it takes a relatively long time to find the desired vocabulary and is felt less effective in its use. With this, the researchers designed an application using the Flutter Framework to help people who want to learn local languages. Flutter is an open-source SDK or framework developed by Google to design or develop an application that will run on Android and iOS operating systems. The development method used is Waterfall, the testing method used to test an application is black-box, and user validation testing uses the System Usability Scale with a total of 47 respondents. This application produces an average SUS score of 74.25 with a grade scale "B" and an adjective ranking value of "Good".
