Abstract

Cinambo River is one of the rivers that enter the watershed Cimanuk located around the construction area Jatigede Dam. Based on the plan Jatigede Dam, Cinambo River are included in the inundation area, where at a future time will be puddles of Jatigede Dam. The appearance of the river, geology and geomorphology phenomena around the river will disappear puddles drowned by the reservoir. The efforts to save geological data of surrounding Cinambo River are necessary to documented so that the results can be useful. Many aspects of the geological data that can be used to good engineering the spread land movement, slope stability, land stability and the area development. Future studies related to Cimanuk river basin area will always refer to the data around Cinambo River.

Abstract

Increasing world oil prices have a huge impact on national energy needs. Indonesia's economic growth requires the development of alternative energy sources based on 10 basin assessments in Indonesia, coal methane gas potential is estimated to reach 337 TCF of gas in place (Advanced Resources International, inc). The research location is located in the Basin of Asam-Asam,South Kalimantan. Targeted research on the Miocene Warukin Formation. The data used to evaluate Coal Methane Gas potential include surface geology data and coal sample analysis, as well as characteristics of regional anomaly bouger for South Kalimantan. The development of cleats and fractures in coal at the observation site can be classified into high-intensity vitamite-rich coal categories. Coal Warukin Formation has an average Rv value = 0.56% with standard deviation 0.02%. and is ranked in sub-bituminous coal rank. While for other Warukin Formation coal has an average Rv value = 0.58% and entered in rank (bit) bituminous coal with type of methane gas is the type of bio & thermogenic gas mixture. When viewed from the thick layer of coal and gas type, the Warukin Formation coal in the location of research is quite interesting when included in the coal resources of economical coal methane gas.

Abstract

The need for coal as fuel in the industrial field still plays an important role, as evidenced by the increasing demand for coal with certain quality to date. The purpose of this research are: To know the availability of coal in the research area, to know the direction of coal deployment and its thickness, to know the prospect of coal in the research area. The expected target is to know the prospect of coal in the research area. By using survey method observation and observation field then correlation and analysis based on USGS method.According to Setyana, 2005 regional geology of research areas into the Ketungau Basin, so that the sedimentary rocks in it have the same deposition history on the Basin. The formation of a coal carrier is a formation of mites. Coal outcrops are very rare in research areas with average stance and slope N 45oE/12o. From the results of the correlation of several test wells and the analysis of outcrop data, the coal in the study area has a thickness between 5cm - 80cm, in some places in the form of lensis and in some other places in the form of ribbon.

Abstract

Rencana pembangunan Bendungan AMERORO di Kabupaten Konawe yang sudah memasuki taha Detail Desain, sangat perlu mandapatkan data kondisi geologi Teknik bawah permukaan.Terkait dengan hal tersebut perlu ditentukan metode penyelidikan lapangan yang tepat agar diperoleh hasil yang paling mendekati, sebagai dasar pembuatan Detail Desain Bendungan A tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode penyelidikan tanah/batuan dan jenis bor dan macam pemborannya. Secara geologi daerah penelitian tersusun oleh batuan metamorf berupa sekis dan endapan Aluvium.Adapun karakteritik batuan metamorf sekis mempunyai struktur foliasi yang menyebabkan bidang belah dari batuan tersebut berlembar menyerupai daun.Untuk melakukan penyelidikan bawah permukaan yang baik perlu dilakukan Metoda Pemboran Vertikal dan Metode Geofisika dengan menggunakan Seismik Refraksi dangkal. Jenis pemboran yang akan dilakukan adal;ah pemboran inti penuh (full corring). Mesin bor yan diperlukan adalah mesin Bor hidrolik dengan kemampuan kedalaman hingga 150m. Kelengkapan lain adalah double corebarrel dengan mata bor intan (diamond bit). Kesimpulan yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah Penyelidikan lapangan dilakukan dengan geofisika berupa seismic refraksi dan pemboran inti vertical, serta mesin bor hidrolic dengan kemampuan lebih dari 100m.
