Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat empati anak di TK Tunas Harapan Desa Kalak. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus. Data diambil dari lembar observasi guru terhadap perilaku anak didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari tanggal 17 Desember 2019 sampai 31 Desember 2019. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 24 siswa dan 1 orang guru. Empati dilihat dari 17 kriteria berikut: mampu mengenali ekspresi teman (10 siswa mampu mengenali ekspresi teman sedangkan 14 siswa tidak), mampu menghampiri teman yang sedang kesulitan (11 siswa mampu sedangkan 13 siswa tidak), mampu menghibur teman ketika sedang sedih (7 siswa mampu sedangkan 17 siswa tidak), mampu meminta izin saat meminjam (20 siswa mau sedangkan 4 siswa tidak), mampu menghargai pendapat teman (18 siswa mampu sedangkan 6 siswa tidak), mampu menghargai hasil karya (21 siswa yang sudah mampu sedangkan 3 siswa tidak), mampu meminjamkan barang miliknya (22 siswa dapat meminjamkan barang miliknya sedangkan 2 siswa tidak), bersikap jujur dalam bermain (sebanyak 24 siswa sudah mampu berperilaku jujur), mampu menaati peraturan sekolah (10 siswa mampu sedangkan 14 siswa tidak), sabar menunggu giliran (11 siswa sudah mampu bersabar sedangkan 13 siswa tidak sabar), mau berbagi dengan teman (22 siswa mau berbagi sedangkan 2 siswa tidak), mampu bersikap kooperatif dengan teman (9 siswa mampu kooperatif sedangkan 15 siswa tidak), mampu mendengarkan saat guru berbicara (17 siswa yang dapat mendengarkan guru sedangkan 7 siswa tidak), mau mendoakan teman yang sakit (9 siswa yang dapat melakukanya sedangkan 15 siswa tidak), tidak iri melihat keberhasilan teman (15 siswa yang dapat sedangkan 9 siswa tidak), mampu mengekspresikan perasaan secara wajar (23 siswa yang tidak mampu sedangkan 1 siswa tidak mampu) dan tidak membeda-bedakan teman 10 siswa yang mampu sedangkan 14 siswa tidak). Kata kunci: Empati, Interaksi, Pendidikan Anak Abstract This study aims to determine the level of children’s empathy in TK Tunas Harapan, Kalak Village. This research is a case study. The data were taken from the teacher’s observation sheet of the students’ behavior. This research was conducted from 17 December 2019 to 31 December 2019. The research subjects were 24 students and 1 teacher. Empathy is seen from the following 17 criteria: able to recognize friends ‘expressions (10 students are able to recognize friends’ expressions while 14 students are not), able to approach friends who are in trouble (11 students are capable while 13 students are not), able to entertain friends when they are sad (7 students are able whereas 17 students were not), able to ask permission when borrowing (20 students wanted while 4 students did not), able to respect friends’ opinions (18 students were capable while 6 students were not), able to 1673 appreciate work results (21 students were capable while 3 students were not, able to lend their belongings (22 students can lend their belongings while 2 students can’t), being honest in playing (as many as 24 students are able to behave honestly), able to obey school rules (10 students are able while 14 students are not), patiently waiting for their turn (11 students are able to be patient while 13 students are impatient), willing to share with friends (22 students want to share while 2 students are not), able to be cooperative with friends (9 students are able to be cooperative while 15 students are not), able to listen when the teacher talks (17 students can listen to the teacher while 7 students are not), want to pray for a sick friend (9 students can do it while 15 students are not), are not jealous of seeing success friends (15 students who can while 9 students are not), able to express feelings naturally (23 students who are unable while 1 student is unable) and do not differentiate between friends 10 students who are capable while 14 students are not).
