Abstract

Birrul Walidain Middle School Muhammadiyah Sragen is one of Muhammadiyah's Integrated Islamic schools in Cantel Wetan, Sragen. The purpose of this study is to describe Islamic-based school programs and relate them to the presence of students with Islamic characteristics. The type of research used is field research (field research) and data collection techniques with the process of collecting documents, interviews, observations, (field observations), data analysis, and data validity.The result of this research is that the Tafiḍ Al-Qur'an Activity Program in Birrul Walidain Junior High School Muhammadiyah Sragen is one of the efforts of teachers and educators to shape Islamic character in each student's personality and create a generation of Qur'anic and Intelligent Achievers (Intellectual). and Spirituality), so as to be able to become someone who is honest, fair, disciplined (worship and learning), patient, and trustworthy in carrying out every activity responsibility. The students are considered ready spiritually and physically to be directed and formed with Islamic character education and morals.

Abstract

Al-Quran  ialah Kalam Allah yang (memiliki) mukjizat, diturunkan kepada penutup para nabi dan rasul,dengan melalui perantara Malaikat Jibril, ditulis  dalam berbagai mushhaf, dinukilkan kepada kita  dengan cara tawatur (mutawatir), yang dianggap ibadah dengan membacanya. Secara garis besar  Al-Quran berisi tentang:  Aqidah, Ibadah, Wa’du dan Wa’id, Akhlak, Hukum, Kisah dan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan  Teknologi. Adapun Hadits adalah perkataan, perbuatan, dan penetapan yang disandarkan kepada RasulullahShalahu Alaihi wa Sallam setelah kenabian. Fungsi Hadis sebagai sumber kedua setelah Al-Quran dan penjelas bagi Al-Quran.        Berdasarkan fungsi dan isi Al-Quran  dan Hadis di atas maka keduanya dapat  menjadi  sumber  Psikologi, khususnya berkaitan dengan isi Al-Quran yang berkaitan dengan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Lebih jelas  lagi  yang dijelaskan di dalam Q.S. Fushshilat ayat 53 yang artinya: Kami akan memperlihatkan kepada mereka tanda-tanda (kebesaran) Kami di segenap penjuru dan pada diri mereka sendiri, sehingga jelaskah bagi mereka bahwa Al-Qur’an itu  adalah benar. Tidak cukupkah (bagi kamu) bahwa Tuhanmu menjadi saksi  atas segla Sesutu?. Selain itu di dalam Al-Quran dan Hadits ada banyak istilah yang berkaitan dengan jiwa manusia, misalnya al-fitrah, al-ruh, al-nafs, al-qalb, al-‘aql, al-dhamir.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the supervisor dormitory (Musyrifah) in shaping the character of students in the Al-Azhar Solo Baru student dormitory and its solutions. This study describes Musyrifah's persistence in shaping the character of students, including religious, honest, disciplined, responsible, and independent characters. The methods used to obtain data in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study prove that the problem of Musyrifah in shaping the character of students is that students are still less disciplined and cannot be separated from several student factors, namely external factors and internal factors. This study found several roles of Musyrifah, including by always giving directions and admonitions to students, being a good role model for them, also very influencing them, and being open to each other in communicating. As well as cooperation between Musyrifah, parents, and the school to always support students when they are in the school environment and outside the school.

Abstract

Children mostly receive their first education from their parents. In Islamic intellectual tradition, the most important part to be instilled first in man’s life is the teaching of religious beliefs, of morality (adab). When the children have to pursue further studies, their parents are playing important roles in the process of choosing educational institution for their children. In this paper discusses specifically on parents’ reasons for sending their children to Muhammadiyah Junior High School 4 of Surakarta Academic Year 2019/2020. This is a field study and using a descriptive quantitative approach by distributing closed questionnaires via Google form. The result shows that the parents really hope that their children are good in understanding general knowledge within Islamic educational framework. If the parents’ wishes can be successfully instilled into their children in the educational process and hope it can be successfully achieved, it means the vision and mission of the school are fulfilled accordingly.
