Abstract

As finance instrument, cash waqf becomes brand new in history of Islamic banking. Waqf is an act of worship by separating personal wealth to be public wealth in order to embody people prosperity. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study method. Data collection is conducted by interviewing informan (nazhir, wakif, and mauquf ‘alaih). The technique of analysis used in this study is reduce, present, and conclude the result. Then, the technique of data validity is source triangulation. The result of the study is the effectiveness of cash waqf’s program to distribute the fund to build a mosque. The level of effectiveness would be successful if all the element were totally accomplished and also affect people prosperity in maqashid syariah’s perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the economic impact of religious tourism tomb of Sunan Drajat Lamongan on revenues stall traders. The economic impact of tourism generated economic activity of a region in the form of direct economic impact, indirect economic impact, and continued economic impact. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach. Informants in this study are the parties involved in tourism activities, namely tourists, merchants and workers. Technical analysis of the data used is the field analytical techniques and models Miles Hubeman. The direct economic impact of business owners in the form of revenue derived from tourist spending in the tourist locations, namely by 16%. Indirect economic impacts in the form of labor income received by 1.86%, while the continued economic impact is the expenditure of labor which is mostly used for daily needs and consumption.

Abstract

Islamic finances cooperation/Islamic finances servise unit as one of micro organization that has a role in developing and evolving the economical potential of its members in particular way, and the society in general way, to increase the economical and social prosperity.The aim of this research is to find out the role of Islamic finances cooperation unit in empowering the economies of its member. This researce is using the qualitative approach by case study as a strategy. The data collection is achieved by interviewing the related objects directly.This research indicated that the members experienced the role of Islamic savings and loan and budgeting unit of As-Sakinah Surabaya helpfully by offering its finances products, namely the deposit and the budgeting with many models upon the members fancies and the most important part of the 460 products is, the contracts are based on the Islamic law.

Abstract

Dealing transaction in sharia Islam is main purpose to every muslims as muammalah (worship) behavior acted. The merchants commintment is basic point to establish ethics and muslim merchants behavior according to Rasulullah SAW taught to avoid prohibited dealing transactions in sharia Islam. One of the forbidden form in Islamic dealing transaction is ihtikar (accumulated foodsupplies). The main point of these research to knows understanding behavior commitment of muslim merchants in Krembangan traditional market Surabaya to avoid the forbidden one in Islam, which is Ihtikar (accumulated foodsupplies). The research method used qualitative within descriptive study case. The informant determine by purposive sampling. Data samples are collected by semi–structured interview. The results of this research shown that was in generally, muslim merchants has understood commitment behavior acts within sincerity intention, hard work, truth, unity, and khiar (determination)principles to avoid ihtikar.
