Abstract

This research is entitled Interpersonal Communication of Parents with Children who Have Mental Retardation. In this research, the researcher wants to know how communication is used by parents with mental retardation. The aim of this research is to describe the interpersonal communication that is used in communicating with mentally retarded children. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using data collection technique that uses the technique of participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The result of this study shows that the interpersonal communication of parents with children who have mental retardation is interpersonal communication through verbal and non-verbal communication. The interpersonal communication is the most appropriate communication of parents of mentally retarded children because the interpersonal communication uses multiple stages, including contacts, involvement, and familiarity. The interpersonal communication is used for children with mental retardation can complete tasks the duties of the development of a normal child of his age.Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Parents and Children, Mental Retardation

Abstract

Counseling activities should be performed by counseling teacher that has been trained and educated in the field. In fact, studies teachers who also acted as a tutor didn’t understand the concept of tutor commonly called counselor, because of their educational background were not Guidance and Counseling Study Program. In the course of counseling, teachers needed to understand the elements of respect, empathy, audible, clarity and humble in running the guidance. Writer wanted to know the effectiveness of communication run by Subject teachers in performing the role of a counselor. This is a qualitative research. Data was collected by using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results showed that: (1) the understanding between teachers and students has been established as Civic Education teachers attempted to understand the counseling activities, (2) there’s a sense of fun between Civic Education teachers and students when they are running the counseling, (3) a change in attitude after the counseling on students, (4) good social relations, (5) after the communication, students can change the attitude or act according to the direction of Civic Education teachers who acts as a Counselor.Keywords: Communication, Guidance, Counseling

Abstract

This study aimed to find out thein structional communication strategy of Widyaiswara Education Quality Assurance Agency Bengkulu in learning, includesthe pre-Instructional strategies, the implementationof Instructional strategies, and the results and evaluation of in structional communication strategy. Thisresearchis aqualitative descriptive study. Datawere collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was performed with Miles and Huberman(1984) data analysis techniques, namely: data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing and verification conclution. The results showed: 1) In Pre-Instructional phase, Widyaiswara’sBengkuludo: preparationto implement thetrainingas indicated bya letter of assignmentand directionofthe management, arrange the Learning Implementation Plan(RPP) and Learning Syllabus, develop strategieswill be run in training, studying the entering behaviorand the prior needs oftraining participants during the training. In Instructionalphase the stepsare: determiningthe formulation of the instructional objectivesof education and training, paid attention tothe validity and relevance ofthe material to be delivered to training participants, useda variety of learningmediain the learning process, adapted the medium usedto learning objectives, useda variety of methodsin the learning process, established the source/teaching materialsin accordance withthe needs of training participants, determined appropriate time and appropriate objectives to achieve, encouraged the training participants to actively involve in the learning process. At the stage of evaluation, the steps are: evaluation oftrainingparticipantsin the form of assessmentat the end and assessment during the training through thetest questions.

Abstract

Advertising has become a hope for the majority of companies that want their products embedded in the hearts of consumers. If an ad is not likely to have a major influence on the behavior of consumers, the advertising effectiveness is doubtful. The purpose of this study was to determine the increasing number of visitors at Hypermart Bengkulu through ads in Rakyat Bengkulu daily newspapers. This study used qualitative methods, that’s research that produces descriptive data in the form of words written or spoken of those that can be observed. Informants in this study were divided into two groups, namely the key informants consisting of 3 persons and key informants consisting of 4 people. The main theory used in this research was EPIC theory. The results in this study was, one element of the EPIC theory, namely is not going well because not every visitor read or subscribe to the Rakyat Bengkulu newspaper, so it effects on the increasing number in visitors at Hypermart Bengkulu.  Keywords: increasing, buyers, advertising, hypermart

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether meronce activities can help develop fine motor skills in group B children at PEMBINA I PAUD Negeri Bengkulu City. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner, with the emphasis being used to determine the process improvement expressed in a predicate.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk berbagi praktik baik dibidang ilmu pengetahuan kepada para pendidik TK/PAUD dikabupaten Bengkulu Utara dalam rangka menguatkan pemahaman para pejuang pendidikan didalam mengimplementasikan projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila kurikulum merdeka.Didapatkan data bahwa penerapan pemeblajaran P5 kurikulum merdeka dalam implementasinya oleh para pendidik TK/PAUD di Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara masih belum optimal.Projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila adalah pembelajaran lintas disiplin ilmu dalam mengamati dan memikirkan solusi terhadap permasalahan di lingkungan sekitar untuk menguatkan berbagai kompetensi dalam Profil Pelajar Pancasila.Projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila merupakan kegiatan kokurikuler berbasis projek yang dirancang untuk menguatkan upaya pencapaian kompetensi dan karakter sesuai dengan profil pelajar Pancasila yang disusun berdasarkan Standar Kompetensi Lulusan.Pelaksanaan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila dilakukan secara fleksibel dari segi muatan, kegiatan, dan waktu pelaksanaan.Projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila dirancang terpisah dari intrakurikuler.Tujuan, muatan, dan kegiatan pembelajaran projek tidak harus dikaitkan dengan tujuan dan materi pelajaran intrakurikuler.Satuan pendidikan dapat melibatkan masyarakat dan/atau dunia kerja untuk merancang dan menyelenggarakan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila.Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah tatap muka secara langsung dilaksanakan dalam bentuk seminar di HIMPAUDI Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara.
