Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out and analyze the influence of competence and motivation on the performance of employees of the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of South Sulawesi Province and to know and analyze the variables that predominantly affect the performance of employees of the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of South Sulawesi Province. The research has been conducted at the Office of Manpower and Transmiggration of South Sulawesi Province with an implementation time of 1 month, namely from January to February of 2018 with a sample of 71 people. The analysis method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method, through regression testing by conducting validity and reliability test of question items of each variable as well as assumption test. The results showed that Competency has a significant influence on performance with P = 0.021 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.179, this coefficient shows that the better the competence of employees, the performance of employees in the Office of Manpower and Transmigration of South Sulawesi Province will increase; Motivation has a significant influence on performance with P = 0.000 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.509, this coefficient shows that the better the employee's work motivation, the better the performance will be and the variable that has the dominant effect on performance is motivation, this can be seen from the beta value of 0.406 greater than other variables.

Abstract

This research was conducted to test the influence of Variable Working Capital to Total Asset (WCTA), Current Liabilities To Inventory (CLI), Operating Income to Total Assets (OITL), Total Asset Turnover (TAT), Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Gross Profit Margin (GPM) on profit growth. The data was obtained by purposive sampling method with the criteria of Multi-Industry Manufacturing Companies in the automotive sector and components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2012-2016.The results of the analysis showed that the data used in this study have fulfilled classical assumptions, which include: no symptoms of multicolinearity, no autocorrelation, no symptoms of heterosceticity, and normal distributed data. From the results of regression analysis shows that variable Working Capital to Total Asset (WCTA), Current Liabilities To Inventory (CLI), Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Gross Profit Margin (GPM) have a significant positive effect on profit growth. While the variables Operating Income to Total Assets (OITL) and Total Asset Turnover (TAT), have no significant effect on profit growth. The six variables used in this study (WCTA, CLI, OITL, TAT, NPM and GPM) jointly influenced profit growth. Keywords: Working Capital to Total Asset (WCTA), Current Liabilities To Inventory (CLI), Operating Income to Total Assets (OITL), Total Asset Turnover (TAT), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Gross Profit Margin (GPM) and profit growth.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find out and analyze the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance in the Office of agriculture of Sulawesi Province.The design used in this study is adescriptive method of survey with regression techniques. The population in this study was all employees in the Agriculture Office of West Sulawesi Province which amounted to 46 employees. Sampling techniques used in this study is saturated sampling techniques or census, namely the determination of the number of samples from all members of the population of 46 people. The data collection techniques used in this study are documentation and questionnaires. Documentation is used to collect information about the overview (profile, vision, mission,). Questionnaires are used to obtain data on Employee Performance, compensation, and Work Discipline. The results showed that. Compensation has a significant positive influence on the performance of employees of the Agriculture Office of West Sulawesi Province with P= 0.0090.05 with a cofisien value of 0.272. This indicates that the better the compensation owned by employees, the better the performance, while the Motivation variable has an insignificant influence on employee performance. With P=0.1390.05 with a coeffiien value of 0.127. this indicates that employee work motivation does not affect employee performance. And the next variable discipline has a significant positive influence on employee performance with P=0.0010.05 with a coeffiien value of 0.403. This shows that the discipline of work at the Agriculture Office of West Sulawesi Province is getting bailk. It can be concluded that compensation and discipline of work is very influential oada pegwai performance, because the success of an organization and achieving the objectives of oraganizationKeywords: Compensation, Motivation, Discipline and Performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis trend pola produksi, konsumsi, dan harga komoditas pangan strategis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di wilayah Kabupaten Gowa, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Jenis data adalah data sekunder dalam bentuk data deret waktu (time series). Analisis data adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana (analisis trend). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam kurun waktu tahun 2008-2017 perkembangan produksi padi baik di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan maupun Kabupaten Gowa memiliki trend yang sama, yakni meningkat masing-masing sebesar 215.430 ton dan 22.726 ton per tahun,sedangkan produksi jagung meningkat masing-masing sebesar 66.738 ton dan 17.384 ton per tahun. Pada periode tahun yang sama, trend konsumsi/kebutuhan padi di Sulawesi Selatan maupun Gowa memiliki trend meningkat sebesar 1.005,8 ton dan 2,81 ton per tahun. Sedangkan kebutuhan jagung meningkat masing-masing sebesar 574,29 ton dan 1,2 kuintal per tahun. Pada tahun 2016-2018, trend harga beras secara umum di wilayah Sulawesi Selatan mengalami trend kenaikan Rp 19,42per kilogram per bulan. Dalam kurun waktu yang sama, trend harga jagung dan kedelai di Gowa naik Rp 0,26(Rp 3.016,31/kg) dan Rp 0,2 (Rp 9.733,14/kg) per kilogram per bulan. Trend harga bawang merah di Sulawesi Selatan dan Gowa menurun Rp 518,92 (Rp 28.878,00/kg) dan Rp 9,89 (Rp 17.322,96/kg)per kilogram per bulan. Trend harga cabai merah mengalami kenaikan, baik di Sulawesi Selatan maupun di Gowa, yaituRp 78,73 (Rp 24.808,00/kg) dan 2,92 (Rp 26.661,50/kg) per kilogram per bulan. Harga pangan strategis secara umum di wilayah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan cenderung lebih stabil.
