<![CDATA[Abstract This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence between authoritative parenting on the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years. The subjects in this study were children aged 4-5 years and their parents in Desa Aweh, Kecamatan Kalanganyar, Lebak-Banten. The method used in this research is the method Ex-post facto with a quantitative approach. The population in this study found 111 children and their parents. The number of samples taken based on the technique Purposive Sampling is 20 children and parents. Testing the validity and reliability of the instrument, normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, and simple linear regression test processed using program assistance IBM SPSS 22.0 for windows. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that there is a significant influence between authoritative parenting on the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years in Desa Aweh, Kecamatan Kalanganyar, Lebak-Banten. This can be seen from the significant value obtained is 0,000 < 0,05 wich means H0 rejected and H1 accepted. Keyword: Authoritative Parenting, Confidence Attitude, 4-5 Years Old Children.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh antara pola asuh otoritatif terhadap sikap percaya diri anak usia 4-5 tahun. Subyek pada penelitian ini yaitu anak usia 4-5 tahun beserta dengan orang tuanya di Desa Aweh, Kecamatan Kalanganyar, Lebak-Banten. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode Ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 111 anak dan orang tua. Jumlah sampel diambil berdasarkan teknik Purposive Sampling yaitu 20 anak dan orang tua. Pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen, uji normalits, uji homogenitas, uji linieritas, dan uji regresi linier sederhana yang diolah menggunakan bantuan program IBM SPSS 22.0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pola asuh otoritatif terhadap sikap percaya diri anak usia 4-5 tahun di Desa Aweh, Kecamatan Kalanganyar, Lebak-Banten. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai signifikan yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.
