Abstract

Perpustakaan harus mampu untuk mengikuti perubahan dan perkembangan sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Mengatasi persoalan ini, perpustakaan dapat melakukan kerjasama. Kerjasama memberikan akses ke sumber daya lebih luas, meningkatkan jasa dan berbagi sumber daya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kerjasama HeLLIS Indonesia dan Indonesia Onesearch untuk memudahkan pencarian sumber informasi kesehatan dan kedokteran. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengkaji literatur secara mendalam digunakan untuk membahas penerapan kerjasama yang dilakukan HeLLIS Indonesia dan Indonesia Onesearch. Temuan menunjukkan kerjasama HeLLIS Indonesia telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 1971 melalui JIDIKK selanjutnya berkembang ke HeLLIS Indonesia. Pengembangan kerjasama dapat dilakukan dengan mengembangkan kebijakan informasi, mengembangkan sumber informasi dan layanan pengguna. Kerjasama HeLLIS Indonesia dan Indonesia Onesearch melahirkan HeLLIS Onesearch sebagai portal satu pintu dan menyediakan deskripsi bibliografis sumber informasi kesehatan dan kedokteran Indonesia. Identifikasi sumber informasi HeLLIS Onesearch menghasilkan deskripsi bibiliografis yang terhubung ke anggota HeLLIS Indonesia. Pengelompokan sumber yang tersedia di HeLLIS Onesearch meliputi afiliasi, institusi, koleksi, format, pengarang, bahasa, tahun, penerbit, dan topik sumber informasi. Penyebaran sumber informasi HeLLIS Onesearch difasilitasi oleh fitur-fitur HeLLIS Onesearch.

Abstract

Research on interactive service applications in libraries is still mostly about the use of various applications, application development, and evaluation of service applications in libraries. Utilization of service applications places more emphasis on the technology used, including assessing technical opportunities and obstacles. No research has been found that specifically discusses the preparation and management of interactive applications in libraries. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the application of interactive service applications that are mostly carried out in libraries and to open opportunities to obtain other views on the implementation of interactive service applications in libraries. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach. From 20 articles, three major issues are found. They are the use of library service applications, a total of twelve articles; library service application development is found in 5 articles; and evaluation of library service applications in 3 articles. Conclusion from this research is that another view is needed in the implementation of interactive service applications in the library.

Abstract

Introduction. This paper investigate information behavior of NCT Dream fans (The South Korean Boy Band) on Twitter. Previously, from research perspectives, fan behavior and their information behavior studies have not been discussed deeply. Fans have unique ways to use information by collaboratively creating, organizing, disseminating, and sharing information. Research Methods. The paper used a virtual ethnographic research method with a qualitative approach. Observations were conducted to explore the exchange of information and interaction between fans with text, images, video and audio among fellow fans. Data was collected by observations, researchers played a role as participants. Data Analysis. The paper followed the three stages of coding: open coding, axial coding, selective coding. Results and Discussion. Fans are able to create their own information, which later it is considered as community knowledge, although the source of information is not official. The fans demonstrate collaborative, creative, sharing, and performative activities that engage further with information. Conclusion. Fan information behavior involves information creation, information organization, information production, and production. Information behavior of fans on Twitter is informal, diverse, and evolving from the model of fan information behavior offered by Price. Furthermore, because fan behavior has shifted to textual productivity, this information behavior model is very helpful in identifying fans on social media. However, crowdfunding appear as one additional behavior inPrice's information behavior model.
