Abstract

This article aims to investigate the relationship between Intellectual networks and ideological with the development of radicalism in the "Salafi Jihadi" pesantren. There are many typelogies in the pesantren that develop in the Bima Regency. Among them are Islamic boarding schools that are affiliated to the jihadi salafi group, such as the UBK pesantren. Intellectualnetworks and ideological allegedly contributed to the emergence of radical values ​​in the learning process in the pesantren. This study uses qualitative phenomenological methods, in which the researcher reveals data in accordance with the natural setting. While the data collection instruments used were in-depth interviews and all forms of observation. It was found in this study that intellectual networks are a network of knowledge that shapes the religious understanding of religious teachers in the pesantren. This network is formed through the scientific sanad of religious teachers at UBK pesantren with Islamic organizations outside the pesantren. This network is suspected as a container in supplying what is called values ​​or ideology. Ideology formation in a person is more influenced and determined by how strong the network that is closest to the individual is pushed.

Abstract

The development of the school as an educational practice as long as it shows a lot of issues that are wrapped around the school. One of them is the difficulty of school to find recipes to produce the smart and good school output, to build this requires partnership and configuration changes. The configuration is the influence of the school became an interesting study, because it tends to change its effects. The school as the initiator needs to build a coalition that synergistic between schools, families, and communities.

Abstract

This article aims to shed light on the stigmatization of two pesantrens in Bima as the base camp of radical and terrorist groups. The negative stigma attached to the pesantren has come to the fore due to the alleged affiliation of the school superintendents to several national terrorist groups. Such a stigmatization has promoted the belief that pesantren as an educational institution is increasingly becoming a home base that is lucrative to the growth of radical ideologies. Drawing on the phenomenological qualitative approach, this study focuses on two pesantrens in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara. This study looks at why such stigmatization on Islamic schools are thriving and what conditions that triggers it. This study shows that the curriculum, exclusive ideologies and traits, and the teaching and learning process of the schools, which tend to indoctrinate, are found to contribute to such a negative stigma to these two Islamic schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of PAI teachers in managing students' HOTS-based critical thinking skills to deal with a flood of information and hoaxes at SMK Plus Nurul Hakim Kediri. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. This research was conducted at SMK Plus Nurul Hakim Kediri for two months, the subjects of this study were PAI teachers at SMK Plus Nurul Hakim Kediri, research informants were school principals, teachers and students. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, unstructured interviews and documentation. To analyze data with three steps: condensing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that (1) PAI teachers can implement HOTS-based critical thinking in the form of teachers participating in Subject Teacher Deliberation training, compiling HOTS-based curriculum 13 learning tools, preparing students' souls before learning, training students' critical power, training students' metacognitive skills, training reflective thinking students, train students' psychomotor domains, PAI teachers are admired and emulated, analyze appropriate and accurate information and activate correct thinking. (2) The PAI teacher's strategy in managing HOTS-based students' critical thinking to deal with a flood of information and hoaxes is: problem-based learning strategies, creative and innovative learning strategies, contextual teaching learning strategies and inquiry strategies. (3) The results of the implementation of the learning process carried out to manage HOTS-based students' critical thinking abilities to deal with a flood of information and hoaxes are managing critical thinking power so that students are able to choose valid information, are able to train kinesthetic compliance, increase student activity, teacher strategies in diverse learning, and the achievement of learning objectives.

Abstract

The rise of the phenomenon of students' moral deviation seen in the millennial era is really concerning to the world of education so that one of the efforts to shape the religious character of students is through the tahfidz al-Qur'an program. . This study aims to determine the implementation of the Al-Qur'an tahfidz program and the formation of the religious character of students. An important aspect of this research is the implementation of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program and the formation of religious character which includes: Methods, stages, indicators and supporting and inhibiting factors for the formation of the tahfidz al-Qur'an program internally and externally at MTs At-Tahzib and MTs Al -Ishlahuddiny. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data collection method used is the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research results, (1)The implementation of the Al-Qur'an tahfidz program is good and running smoothly. (2)The formation of the religious character of students is said to be good by applying exemplary methods, habituation, advice and methods of reward and punishment. The stages are the stages of knowledge, awareness, practice, habituation and maintenance of religious character values. Indicators of forming religious character include: akhlakul karimah, speaking polite words, praying in congregation, praying dhuha, praying before and after learning, saying greetings when meeting, morning imtaq activities and reading yasin and ratib Friday evening. Internal supporting factors: health, intelligence and motivation. External factors: cooperation of all parties, competent tahfidz teachers, time management, government response, internal inhibiting factors: Lazy, impatient, hopeless, difficult to manage time and often forget. External factors: economic capacity and material density.

Abstract

This paper attempts to explore the values of moderate Islamic education held by the Jama'ah Tabligh group. In general, the preaching movement of Jama'ah Tabligh has significantly impacted social transformation in Muslim society. Since its Abstractpresence in mainland India several decades ago, the Jama'ah Tablgih missionary movement has expanded across continents and countries all over the world with millions of followers spread across various regions including Indonesia. Since the issue of global terrorism emerged, the Jamaah Tabligh movement has received increasing attention in Islamic studies. Given that the group is suspected of being a transnational Islamic group movement advocating exclusivist religious narratives. Therefore, this study’s question is whether the Jama'ah Tabligh movement promotes religious radicalism or moderation. If religious moderation is developed, then how is the moderation of Islamic education from the perspective of the Tablighi Jama'ah? This research was carried out through field research with a qualitative approach through data collection techniques of participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving more than twenty informants spread across ten locations on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The results of the study show that the Jama'ah Tablighi group movement has encouraged changes in individual and group religious understanding to become more inclusive in a short time. These changes occur through non-formal and informal Islamic education.
