Abstract

The study "web based of information system of lectures monitoring at Engineering Faculty " is intended to present lectures at the Faculty of Engineering activities are up to date and real time web based. The results of this study is expected to be a source of information for beneficiaries of education services either directly or indirectly. The information presented contains the activity classes held in each department in the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo, which can be accessed via the internet browser and displayed through the big display in the lobby of the faculty. This study was made with the prototype method that allows sustainable development of information systems made by adjusting the needs and the latest in presentation technology and information systems within the framework supporting the management and development of Gorontalo State University as a university-based information technology (Information Technology / IT). From this research has developed a database called 'simpul' and web based of information system of lectures monitoring at Engineering Faculty, named 'simpul' that provides information information lectures at the Faculty of Engineering activities presented either through the internet browser and displayed in large displays that are placed in the lobby Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo.

Abstract

Dalam peningkatan kualitas manajemen internal dan organisasi jurusan tidak hanya tergantungpada kualitas pengelola tetapi juga perbaikan sistem pengelolaan serta pengembangan kemampuanmahasiswa dalam mengaplikasikan konsep basisdata. Penguasaan konsep basisdata ini sangat pentingdalam rangka meningkatkan mutu atau kemampuan mahasiswa sehingga dapat bersaing di dunia kerjadan dalam jangka panjang untuk melakukan perbaikan untuk mencapai visi dan misi Jurusan.Database merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam sistem informasi, karena merupakandasar dalam menyediakan informasi, menentukan kualitas informasi akurat, tepat pada waktunya danrelevan. Abstract

Program yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa KKN Universitas Negeri Gorontalo  ditargetkan kepada masyarakat yang ada di Desa Bina Jaya Kecamatan Tolangohula Kabupaten Gorontalo, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pembangunan desa yang menyesuaikan potnesi dari RPJM desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini yaitu observasi dan pengkajian RPJM desa. Dengan alur kegiatan yaitu persiapan dan pembekalan mahasiswa KKN, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan program diawali dengan observasi desa, mengkaji RPJM dalam melihat kembali program apa yang belum dijalankan dan dilanjutkan dengan menentukan proritas masalah, menentukan prioritas dari program yang akan dilaksanakan

Abstract

This study aims to implement a strategy of preservation and development of Gorontalo’s local culture through a web based application that can store and display the digitizing results of Gorontalo’s local culture called “Gorontalo cultural digital repository". The Gorontalo cultural digital repository provides information about the cultures in Gorontalo such as the mores, dances, historic sites and Gorontalo’s cultural artifacts in the form of video, images and text. The method used in this research is applied method withresearch procedures by: 1) Exploration, is to identify and analyze the data of local Gorontalo’s culture that covers Gorontalo’s mores, dances historic sites and Gorontalo’s cultural artifacts. 2) The development of Gorontalo cultural digital collection, which digitize the identification and analysis result of Gorontalo’s local culture. 3) Gorontalo Cultural Digital Repository application development. From the result of the research found: 1) Exploration the mores of Gorontalo consist of four important aspects, namely customarywelcoming guests, traditional coronation, marriage customs and funeral customs. There are more or less 20 historic sites located in Gorontalo. There are four dances that are usually performed in the customary celebration in Gorontalo.
