Abstract

This research was emerged by Centra Java Government policy which placed tourism sector as the second key sectors beside agriculture and industries. A kind of tourism force is by ecotourism wich environmentally responsible travel and visits to relatively undisturbed natural areas, in order to enjoy and appreciate nature and any accompanying cultural features, both past and present, that promote conservation, has low visitor impact, and provides for beneficially active socio-economic involvement of local population. Then, the strategic communication choose Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) to increase them. PRA is a participatory approach, new innovation method for improving efficacy and rapidity in data collection. Participatory method was interested the community in prepare the action program and developing the learning process forsolving the environment problems. Leading by Pamong Budaya as opinion leader, this strategic communication is a way tocreate an effective communication and automatically help rural community to increase their live by ecotourism.

Abstract

Identity formation is often manifested in the image of the media. These conditions are rarely noticed by individuals whose involved. Consumers are unwittingly caught up in the ever-popular culture simulakra invited into the circle of capitalism. Nowadays, to distribute beauty products, such strong idealism concepts are needed, focusing on the potential consumer, to regain their trust, by implementing pseudo-advantage values. A real example is The Body Shop products are adept at carrying the issues go green and respect for indigenous peoples. As a consumer of beauty products, women's position and then also becomes brittle by the temptations of mass media advertising for the construction of the concept of beauty has been tailored to the needs of capitalism that led to the maximum benefit.

Abstract

Wikileaks frenetic appearance as a hacker organization state documents and other important information becomes a new phenomenon of life in the current global communication. Certainly, the phenomenon is also not missed the attention of the mass media worldwide, including in Indonesia. Abstract

The logo analysis from Faculty of Information Technology and Communication (FTIK) of Universitas Semarang in order to redesign logo and corporate identity design using logotype method is an effort to stimulate the faculty potentiality, by strengthening the brand image so that faculty is well-known in the future and would convince the society as social partner in organizing education quality. Redesign logo and corporate design is a research and development method which purpose at developing FTIK logo. The research uses Research and Development method. From the entire process of R&D development, eight steps are taken as follow: Potential and Problems of Data Collection, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, Product Trial, Product Revision, Usage Trial, Mass Production. The process of redesigning the logo and faculty identity design refers to the vision and mission of the faculty so it can be implemented in creative concepts, communication strategies and application media.

Abstract

As a form of puppet people development standard, Opera Van Java (OVJ) which aired on Trans 7 can be regarded as puppets of the grip of revolution on a large scale given the characteristics of the OVJ them is to use the Indonesian language and do not use master narratives. OVJ phenomenon is developing a play slapstick tradition of Mataram who first appears. If all this a play performed on the dimensions of verbal (words / sentences), in this OVJ also other aspects of the thematic core of which is actors, morality story, characterization of his characters, costumes, music, and even setting the stage. Opera Van Java turned into popular culture in the form of puppet people are loaded with innovation and reintepretation.

Abstract

This study looks at how the disability presented in television talk shows program. It’s important because the diffables in the media are often presented biased, causing misunderstandings. This can have an impact on the fulfillment of their rights by the government and also their social position. The use of representation theory to explain the process of media representation and interpret audience concepts using language. The analysis of research uses the Saussure semiotic method, because representation is closely related to the appearance of images, and other components, which are interrelated between markers and marked ones. The results showed that the media still placed disability as an object of inspiration, an object of pity should get a lot of appreciation in sports matches because of physical limitations. The media quickly found momentum to 'sell' disability stories that inspire. Achievement of disabilities is always related to money, not based on their rights.

Abstract

Era globalisasi saat ini, menuntut adanya ketersediaan sumber daya manusia yang terampil dan cekatan dalam segala bidang, termasuk di antaranya bidang komunikasi. Untuk menjawab tantangan ini. salah satu sekolah kejuruan di kota Semarang, yaitu SMK Negeri 1 Semarang, jurusan Produksi dan Siaran Program Televisi. Untuk menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dalam bidang pertelevisian, memerlukan pemahaman teoritis dan teknis melalui praktik langsung dalam laboratorium audiovisual, terkait dengan produksi acara televisi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan Siswa SMK Negeri 1 Semarang pengetahuan, keterampilan dan pengalaman terkait produksi acara televisi, diawali dengan penyampaian materi dasar produksi acara televisi dan presenting yang diikuti dengan diskusi di dalam kelas, selanjutnya diikuti dengan praktik langsung produksi acara televisi di laboratorium produksi televisi Fakultas Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Universitas Semarang. Untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman peserta, pengelola melakukan posttest dan pretest di awal dan akhir kegiatan ceramah, yang diikuti pengamatan pada saat praktik produksi acara televisi. Setelah kegiatan pengabdian ini, peserta pelatihan, dalam hal ini siswa siswi SMK Negeri 1 Semarang, memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang cukup untuk melakukan produksi acara televisi, mulai dari membuat konsep hingga produksi acara televisi.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan media internet, berdampak besar bagi segala aspek kehidupan masyarakat, tak terkecuali Kampung Tematik. Dalam kondisi saat ini, Kampung Tematik dituntut untuk semakin kreatif dan inovatif dalam menggunakan media internet serta merancang desain promosi produk mereka, dalam hal ini desain-desain visual berupa foto foto produk yang cukup menarik dan kreatif. Hal ini disebabkan oleh munculnya persaingan yang menonjolkan kreatifitas dan inovasi dalam kegiatan promosi dan pemasaran bagi Kampung Tematik menggunakan media internet sebagai sarana untuk melakukan kegiatan promosi, pemasaran serta transaksi mereka. Kemampuan tersebut, masih sangat jarang dimiliki oleh para anggota Kampung Tematik, kususnya Pelatihan “Smartphone Photography” Bagi Karang Taruna Kampung Tematik Kampung Jawi Semarang. Hal tersebut yang memotivasi tim pelaksana kegiatan masyarakat untuk memberikan pelatihan “Smartphone Photography” menggunakan peralatan yang ada, terjangkau dan mudah didapatkan serta menghasilkan foto produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka dalam melakukan promosi. Kegiatan ini akan dilaksanakan Kampung Tematik Kampung Jawi Jl. Kalialang Lama, RT.02/RW.01, Sukorejo, Kec. Gn. Pati, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah 50221.

Abstract

The era of digital marketing is the right solution for introducing products. Social media with its interactions has been widely used for promotion and interaction between business owners and potential buyers. The youth of this interaction provides a different experience between business owners and buyers which can increase the quality of trust and loyalty. The problem faced by this community is the inability to use the Whatsapp application through the Whatsapp business feature. If residents are successful in using this application, then business owners can promote their business, and target business opportunities in the digital realm. So that the output target to be achieved by the service team is how to teach WhatsApp business skills to members of the Kendal Bag Industry Center (SINTAK) in Truko Village, Kangkung District, Kendal Regency. The method used in this activity is a workshop. The results provide motivation and training on the use of WhatsApp business using experienced mentors in the field of digital communication so that they can help promote the Kendal Bag Industry (SINTAK) community product in Truko Village, Kangkung District, Kendal Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berisi tentang analisis isi kualitatif komentar netizen di kolom komentar channel atau kanal YouTube MotoGP Trans7 Official yang menayangkan gelaran MotoGP 2022 di sirkuit Mandalika yang disajikan oleh Trans7 selaku official television. Penelitian ini dititik beratkan pada momentum munculnya pawang hujan bernama Rara Isti Wulandari saat prosesi penghentian hujan yang ditayangkan di kanal YouTube MotoGP Trans7 sebagai obyek penelitian. Penelitian dinilai penting dilakukan untuk mengetahui opini publik atau pendapat netizen pada momentum tersebut, sejalan dengan tujuan analisis isi yakni diantaranya melihat isi media yang tersurat, perhatian media terhadap isu, tokoh, kelengkapan informasi, termasuk berbagai pendapat yang dilontarkan oleh netizen. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis isi kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif. Ini adalah proses memadatkan data tekstual yang kompleks dan membangun makna dari data melalui tema atau kategori yang muncul. Data diolah dengan menggunakan NVivo12 Plus 12 Plus untuk membantu menemukan tema-tema isi komentar netizen, dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini muncul lima (5) tema besar teratas yaitu bangga budaya Indonesia, menghormati keberagaman adat atau kearifan lokal, mengapresiasi keunikan acara, merasa terhibur, mengungkapkan sinisme maupun rasa suka. Komentar netizen yang sering mengemuka adalah tema “bangga akan budaya bangsa Indonesia”. Dimana netizen serempak sepakat dalam berbagai ungkapan kalimat bahwa peristiwa munculnya pawang hujan menambah kecintaannya kepada adat, budaya dan kearifan lokal yang ada di Indonesia.
