Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu kegiatan wajib yang harus dilaksanakan oleh seorang dosen sebagai bagian dari tri dharma perguruan tinggi yang bertujuan untuk menerapkan dan mengimplementasikan kompetensi keilmuan yang dimiliki seorang dosen guna memberikan kontribusi positif bagi kebutuhan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di UNIKOM ini merupakan perwujudan kreatifitas dosen dan mahasiswa yang ingin mengembangkan kemampuannya di bidang teknologi informasi dan kewirausahaan, maka dari itu kami membentuk suatu unit usaha pengabdian pada tahun 2014 bernama “IT Training & Service Center (ITSC)”. Unit usaha pengabdian ini diwujudkan oleh beberapa orang dosen teknik elektro, sistem komputer, dan teknik informatika. Pada awalnya unit usaha ini terbentuk karena kesamaan visi dan misi beberapa dosen yang tergabung dalam kegiatan workshop di laboratorium hardware terkait dengan aktivitas perbaikan perangkat komputer, laptop, handphone dan smartphone. Sasaran utama konsumen unit usaha ini adalah  sekolah menengah atas di sekitar bandung dan jawa barat, mahasiswa, masyarakat umum dan pekerja kantoran atau perusahaan. Mutu peningkatan unit usaha ini selama 3 tahun kami berdiri menunjukan jumlah konsumen yang menggunakan jasa kami meningkat setiap tahunnya. Dimana terlihat hasil yang diperoleh dari tahun 2014 dimana jumlah konsumen saat itu hanya 50 orang baik yang mengikuti training maupun service. Di tahun selanjutnya jumlah konsumen meningkat mencapai 235 orang untuk pelatihan dan 86 untuk pengguna jasa service. Sedangkan pada tahun 2016 mengalami kenaikan lebih dari satu kali lipat dengan rata-rata kenaikan setiap tahunnya mencapai lebih dari 100 %.

Abstract

Kegiatan penerimaan mahasiswa baru merupakan kegiatan yang sangat penting bagi universitas. Seiring berjalannya sistem operasional penerimaan mahasiswa yang ada, maka data penerimaan mahasiswa menjadi bertambah banyak dari tahun ke tahun. Data penerimaan tersebut belum dimanfaatkan oleh pihak universitas dalam pengambilan keputusan strategis, potensi pemasaran, dan pertimbangan undangan jalur penerimaan melalui akademik. Maka, untuk membantu dalam pengolahan data penerimaan mahasiswa baru tersebut, pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan dan analisis data penerimaan mahasiswa baru menggunakan tahapan pada business intelligence. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi tahapan pengambilan data sumber, proses extraction, transform, dan loading (ETL), serta pembuatan grafik data hasil analisis. Dalam pengolahan data penerimaan mahasiswa baru digunakan algoritma time series untuk menganalisis data mahasiswa baru dari tahun ke tahun. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menerapkan business intelligence pada data penerimaan mahasiswa baru untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dapat mendukung kebijakan pada tingkat universitas dalam mendukung potensi pemasaran. Informasi yang didapatkan yaitu meliputi sebaran kota dan provinsi asal mahasiswa, program studi dan fakultas pilihan mahasiswa. Dengan analisis dan rancangan pada data penerimaan mahasiswa baru diharapkan dapat membantu mendukung keputusan manajemen di tingkat universitas terkait potensi pemasaran untuk universitas setiap tahun.

Abstract

Sustainable energy for the mobile electronic devices always needed during the energy storage batteries capacity in the mobile electronic devices are limited for a few hours for the usage time. To get a long lasting operating time from the mobile electronics equipment sets, the energy source should always be connected into the device. In this paper, we were proposed a charging energy method via wireless operation supply using the microwaves (RF) radiated by the air multi-frequency. The RF to DC rectifier circuit is a major component for changing the RF wave to an electronic current (DC). The Dickson models were used as an approach to superiority includes a simple series, low DC ripple factor, etc. The design, analysis, and the experimentation from the rectifier circuit have been conducted and presented in this paper. In the measurement, the mobile electronic devices placed at a distance about 5 meters from the energy source with the system voltage DC 3.7V, and have been obtained at the working frequency between 825 - 960MHz with the PCE values 12-33%, and a ripple factor of ± 0,01%. The charging time energy is needed about 4 hours at the research trial room, and about 11 hours outdoor had been observed. Based on these results, the wirelessly energy charging method for the mobile electronic devices is a potential methods to resolve the sustainable energy issue and the green technology supporting with the most programs.

Abstract

Smartapps is an integrated one-door service information system that is intended to provide information related to the filing of RFID cards for employees and lecturers, submission of vehicle number plate data, checking and printing of employee attendance reports, and reports on the distribution of suits and books for new students. The development of this application model refers to the problems that arise that are all administrative processes so far still using manual systems that have an impact on the efficiency of service time to be longer. Therefore the goal achieved from this research is that the system works well and is able to facilitate the management of integrated data so that it can be accessed quickly by referring to the results of system testing which shows the user response rate reaches 89.87% of the total 40 respondents. Abstract

The community of society is one of main activities required by a lecture as part of the tri dharma which aimed to apply and implement the scientific competence a lecturer to contribute positively especially for society needs. It activities do in UNIKOM is a form of the creativity between lecturers and students who want to develop their skill especially in information technology and entrepreneurship knowlegde, and therefore we established a business unit in 2014 was named "IT Training & Service Center (ITSC)". This business unit is formed by lecturers of electrical engineering, computer systems and informatics techniques. At the beginning of this business unit formed by the same vision and mission of them who joined the workshop activities hardware laboratory device repair activity related to computers, laptops, mobile phones and smartphones. The main target customers of this business unit is high school around Bandung and West Java, collage students, general society and office employees. Quality improvement of this business unit for 3 years we look the number of consumers who use our services increases every year. Where results of 2014 that the number of consumers when it was only 50 people include follow the training and service. For next year the number of customers increased to 235 people for training and 86 for service activities. While, for 2016 increased consumer more than twice with average increase every year more 100%.

Abstract

Success of workshop activities in community programs can be seen from the results of these activities which are able to improve students' skills to implement their knowledge that had been obtained previously. This program was done at SMKN 9 aimed at providing innovation and enhancing the creativity of teachers' skills in the field of microcontroller systems. Therefore the ability to understand microcontroller system requires supporting facilities such as hardware and software devices than also require a comprehensive and systematic of learning process. The alternative solution to problem is done by collaborating teileren method and project method simultaneously where learning subject is focused on the workshop material step by step before applying it. The expectation from this program is that teachers can get used to and have the ability to design microcontroller systems that can be applied as teaching materials and curriculum development. The accomplishment of this workshop can be measured by pre-test evaluation which shows value >65% and post-test results which shows an average value of  >70% with an average index of teacher capacity improvement based on final evaluation >60% compared to the previous test scores.

Abstract

Abstrak: Griya Pataruman Asri 3 adalah salah satu perumahan yang terletak di kawasan Pataruman, Bandung Barat. Tujuan dari kegiatan bakti ini adalah untuk membantu warga mencegah penyebaran COVID-19. Virus corona yang saat ini terus ada bersama kita, mengharuskan setiap masyarakat untuk dapat menjaga dan berusaha mencegah penularan COVID-19. Penyebarannya bisa melalui sentuhan media yang sama. Universitas Komputer Indonesia melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ingin memberikan bantuan berupa alat cuci tangan portable otomatis yang dapat digunakan warga sebagai upaya pencegahan penularan COVID-19. Sebelumnya pihak Universitas Komputer Indonesia dalam hal ini pelaksana pengabdian telah melakukan survei dan observasi terkait dengan kondisi di Griya Pataruman Asri. Selain dengan memberikan bantuan berupa alat cuci tangan portable otomatis yang diberikan, warga juga akan diberikan pelatihan dan pemahaman terkait dengan penggunaan alat tersebut. Dengan dibuatnya alat cuci tangan otomatis, menjadi salah satu upaya dalam mencegah penularan virus corona yang disebabkan oleh sentuhan yang sama pada media tertentu.Abstract: Griya Pataruman Asri 3 is one of the housing located in pataruman area, West Bandung. The purpose of this devotional activity is to help citizens prevent the spread of COVID-19. The coronavirus that currently continues to exist with us, requires every community to be able to maintain and try to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. The spread can be through the same media touch. Universitas Komputer Indonesia through community service activities wants to provide assistance in the form of automatic portable hand washing tools that can be used by citizens as an effort to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. Previously, the Indonesian Computer University in this case the implementation of the service has conducted surveys and observations related to the conditions in Griya Pataruman Asri. In addition to providing assistance in the form of automatic portable hand washing equipment provided, residents will also be given training and understanding related to the use of such tools. With the creation of automatic hand washing equipment is expected to be one of the efforts in preventing the transmission of the corona virus caused by the same touch on certain media.

Abstract

Printer merupakan alat yang berfungsi untuk mencetak data dari komputer ke media berupa kertas atau sejenisnya. Hasil cetakan bisa berupa teks, gambar atau grafik. Printer menggunakan kabel sebagai media pengirim data, maka kabel yang digunakan akan banyak jika penempatan printer jauh dari komputer. Hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan  membuat  erangkat wireless untuk printer konvensional berbasis Wi-Fi dengan menggunakan SBC Cubieboard 3. Perangkat dirancang agar printer dapat diakses melalui Wi-Fi dan men-share printer yang telah tersedia pada sistem tanpa memerlukan kabel sebagai media pengirim data dari komputer ke printer. Modul Wi-Fi yang ada pada sistem akan dijadikan sebagai akses poin. Perangkat dirancang agar dapat diakses oleh multi user maupun multi printer. Perangkat juga dilengkapi dengan sistem monitoring yang akan memberikan informasi jika proses print out berhasil ataupun gagal. Jarak maksimum tanpa halangan pada saat melakukan print out menggunakan perangkat Wi-Fi adalah 40 meter. Jika melewati jangkauan maksimum perangkat, dipastikan proses print out gagal. Sedangkan dalam kondisi ada  halangan kurang dari 20 meter. Lama waktu dalam melakukan proses print out berdasarkan jenis file, jarak, dan juga OS yang digunakan user. Semakin kecil ukuran file dan jarak user pada perangkat dekat, maka waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk proses print out semakin cepat.

Abstract

Abstract – Refer to the theme “attitude monitoring and surveillance payload”, KOMURINDO 2012 requires the participants to design a payload that can grab 200x200 greyscaled picture from the air then send it to LabVIEW ground station softwarein real-time (no buffer) to displayed. Sometime output image has bad quality for many reasons include sunlight intensity’s too high or low and noises caused by data lost, therefore image enhancement contrast stretching’s implemented in payload’s microcontroller and histogram equalization’s implemented in ground station software. The main purpose of both algorithms is to distribute bit pixel value so that picture can be displayed more clear (contrast), median filter and average filter are also implemented in ground station in order to lighten noises. Output of those algorithms implementation leads transfer time for 1 picture in KOMURINDO 2012 format rule to 42,7- 43,1seconds. Distributed pixels value image is setted in range value 0 to 254 therefore image have good contrast. This means that objects in image can be seen easily.

Abstract

In this study, designing an application on Android smartphone that serves as a remote control that can control the movement of a robot car. The car robot uses two communications media namely Bluetooth and WiFi and also two types of input commands namely screen button and accelerometer. Both communication media and input commands will be compiled to be able to determine the most appropriate control. As for the results of the analysis and testing, has been obtained the percentage of success input screenplay command 95.84% and accelerometer 91.20%. While the Bluetooth communication media has a percentage of success of 95.72% and WiFi 91.32%
