Abstract

Seorang jurnalis dituntut tetap netral dan independen dari pihak mana pun. Ganjar Pranowo setelah terpilih sebagai Gubernur Jawa Tengah, pada Oktober 2013 memberlakukan kebijakan penghapusan amplop untuk jurnalis. Banyak pro dan kontra atas kebijakan ini. Biasanya, Humas Pemprov Jateng membagikan amplop berisi Rp 150.00,00 kepada jurnalis yang meliput kegiatan Pemprov.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi mengenai penaatan Kode Etik di kalangan jurnalis Pemprov Jawa Tengah setelah penghapusan amplop untuk jurnalis. Teori-teori yang digunakan untuk mendukung penelitian ini diantaranya adalah Teori Pemberian Hadiah (Mauss: 2002), Sembilan Elemen Jurnalistik (Kovach: 2001), dan Teori-Teori Etika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif. Peneliti akan menggambarkan hasil penelitian di lapangan secara utuh. Peneliti memilih Kepala Biro Humas Pemprov Jateng, Pemimpin Redaksi Suara Merdeka, pengurus organisasi kewartawanan (PWI, AJI, dan IJTI), dan Jurnalis yang bertugas di Pemprov Jateng sebagai narasumber.Hasilnya, jurnalis di Jawa Tengah sebagian besar jurnalis menaati Kode Etik Jurnalistik, tidak ada perubahan dalam mekanisme kerja mereka. Beberapa kesalahan sempat dilakukan oleh jurnalis pemula seperti kesalahan verifikasi data dan cover both sides, karena jam terbang yang masih rendah. Kebijakan ini justru berdampak membuat hubungan antarjurnalis memburuk, muncul pengotak-kotakan di kalangan jurnalis. Terbukti dari munculnya sebutan jurnalis ring satu, ring dua, dan seterusnya. Kode Etik Jurnalistik wajib ditaati, namun semua pengurus organisasi kewartawanan tidak bisa menjamin anggotanya sudah memahami dan menaati isi dari kode etik. Konsistensi dari Ganjar Pranowo masih banyak dipertanyakan, pasalnya masih ada praktik amplop setelah kebijakan penghapusan amplop ini diberlakukan.

Abstract

Education about family resilience is essential to strengthen national unity. Family resilience in Indonesia is still considered lacking, especially during the pandemic the divorce rate is even higher. Social media, especially Instagram, has a significant role as the right educational media for the younger generation. The research was conducted to design media for family resilience education for the younger generation. This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. Researchers conducted a content analysis on four family education Instagram accounts to get an idea of ​​the information needs related to family resilience. Three crucial aspects of family resilience are physical resilience, resilience, social resilience, and psychological resilience. The analysis conducted on the @ibupedia.id, @parenting_islam.id, @parenttalk.id, and @talkparenting accounts revealed several sub-aspects of physical endurance, such as home ownership and work require more emphasis. In general, aspects of psychological resilience, such as managing emotions, stress, and household finances, are still not given much attention. These contexts are actually at the level of the husband and wife relationship, which should be the key to creating family resilience. The results of this study can be used as a reference for developing more comprehensive parenting education media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Google Meet application and the ease of online discussion on students' self-confidence levels at the Faculty of Computer Science of Dian Nuswantoro University. University learning has turned using online communication media like the Google Meet application since the government issued a circular letter during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the transition may affect students' psychology, particularly their self-confidence. This study applied behaviorist communication theory, new media theory, and technological determination theory. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory approach. Primary and secondary data was obtained from questionnaires distributed to 98 respondents and from a literature study. The results showed that the variable of using the Google Meet application had a 33.4% and the ease of online discussion variable had a 60.5% effect on students' self-confidence levels. The F test's results showed that the use of the Google Meet application and the ease of online discussion on students' self-confidence levels had an F count of 28.133 > F table of 2.36, indicating a positive and significant effect. The R-Squared value was 37.2%, with the remaining 62.8% coming from the influence of variables beyond this study.
