Abstract

Structure design of Semarang Health Polytechnic building was designed with SNI 2847-2013 and SNI 1726-2012, Semarang Health Polytechnic building structures was included in Seismic Design Criteria Type D with high seismic risk level, so in designing the building used special moment resisting frames system method. It also used the concept of capacity design. The purpose of this concept if the strong earthquake is occur, plastic hinges can be formed on the element beams structure. In order to ensure plastic hinges are formed on the beams, the columns should be designed to be stronger than the beams (Strong Column Weak Beam). The foundation was designed as caisson foundation, because the soil in that area was hard soil type. The results of the structural analysis show that the building was safe analytically.

Abstract

Structure design of Alam Indah Apartment designed with SNI 2847-2013 and SNI 1726-2012, Alam Indah Apartment building structures was included in Seismic Design Criteria Type D with high seismic risk level, so that the planning system used method with a Special Moment Resisting Frame System (Sway-special). The structure design of the apartment has a symmetrical shape configuration , so when an earthquake happens the possibility of buildings rotation is almost zero. it caused by the center of mass and the center of rigidity was located in a single point , so it is not necessary dilatation and calculations can be reviewed based on two dimensions with the help of structures software. The foundation that used in this building is a bore pile foundation.

Abstract

Persona Hotel located on the main route from Bekasi to Jakarta, in area Jatiwaringin 60. Hotel Persona will be built vertically with the number five floors consisting of four floors and a roof floor.Building structure designed use Special Moment Resisting Frame System based on Concrete requirements for structural building Codes (SNI 2847-2013) Analysis of seismic loading was conducted using equivalent static method based on Indonesian Earthquake Resistant Building Codes (SNI 03-1726-2012). In designing this building structure, we used the concept of capacity design. The purpose of this concept was to provide enough ductility by designing plastic hinges on beam. In order to guarantee  plastic hinges are formed on the beams, the columns should be designed to be stronger than the beams (Strong Column Weak Beam). The foundation was designed as bored pile, because the soil in that area was hard soil type. The results of the structural analysis show that the Hotel Building structure was able to withstand the designed earthquake loading.
