Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru PPKn dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap empat pilar kebangsaan di SMA N 1 Situjuah Limo Nagari Lima Puluh Kota. Penelitian ini meliputi bagaimana upaya guru PPKn dalam memberikan pemahaman tentang empat pilar kebangsaan di SMA Negeri 1 Situjuah Limo Nagari dan apakah supervisi yang dihadapi guru dalam memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa tentang Empat Pilar Kebangsaan di SMA Negeri 1 Situjuah Limo Nagari . Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik investigasi data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Informasi penelitian ditentukan dengan purposive sampling. Untuk memastikan keabsahan data digunakan teknik triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan data langka dengan reduksi langka, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru PPKn dalam memberikan pemahaman tentang empat pilar kebangsaan yaitu melalui pembelajaran di kelas serta mengadakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMA N 1 Situjuah Limo Nagari dan guru PPKn dilarang memberikan materi tentang empat pilar kebangsaan. yaitu kurangnya bahan ajar seperti buku bacaan dan kurangnya minat siswa untuk belajar pada mata pelajaran PPKn ini

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase PKN learning activities through the application of role playing learning models for grade X / 6 students of SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh District. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), by collecting data using observations and field notes. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant improvement using role playing learning models. This model is carried out in 2 cycles and each consists of two meetings. Based on the weaknesses or deficiencies seen in the implementation of learning in the first cycle, better learning is planned in the second cycle, so that the increase in student activity that occurs is truly significant. The increase in PKN learning activities seen in Prasiklus research results was 17.2% with low criteria, the first cycle the average number of students active in the learning process was 46.8% with sufficient criteria, and in the second cycle the average number of active students in the learning process is 60.9% with high criteria. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in students' learning after using role playing learning models. Keywords: Learning Activities, Role Playing Learning Models.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to describe the role of teachers in improving student discipline in students with problems at SMK N 3 Payakumbuh. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study are: (1). The teacher's role in improving the learning discipline of students with problems is to provide guidance in improving discipline in entering class on time, informing and explaining the rules that exist at school, providing examples of disciplinary attitudes and behavior in class, giving warnings to students if there are those who violate school rules, give sanctions if there are frequent violations, hold mutual cooperation twice a month and facilitate cleaning tools in improving hygiene discipline, provide learning support facilities in the library; (2). Factors that affect the discipline of students who have problems are the lack of family attention, economic factors and frequent commotion at home, the location of the school is close to the highway while the traffic passing by makes it noisy and classmates who are often nosy while studying, there are less controlled relationships in the classroom. the middle of society. The conclusion of the study is that teachers play an important role in improving student discipline with problems, one of which is by providing guidance, explaining rules, providing examples, giving warnings and sanctions for violators of rules at school. Abstract

The research objective is to examine curriculum management in an effort to improve the quality of education. The method used is literature study. With the aim of seeing curriculum management in improving the quality of education through improving the quality of human resources. Efforts to improve the quality of education must be supported by all parties, including managers of educational institutions at the central, regional and school levels including in the classroom. In the implementation of decentralized education in the era of regional autonomy, each region should have its own quality improvement curriculum design which is an elaboration or implementation of the education curriculum set by the center. This is in accordance with the demands of the curriculum, where both local governments and even lower levels (schools) are given the freedom to describe quality improvement programs so that in the future each region competes with each other for the advancement of education in their respective regions.
