Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang penggunaan bahasa non verbal dalam ekspresi bahasa dan budaya, khususnya budaya Barat dalam hal ini budaya Inggris dan Islam yang bertujuan agar dapat mengetahui perbedaan yang terjadi di antara penutur atau pelaku bahasa. Tulisan ini menyimpulkan adanya kesamaan antara keduanya, minimal budaya Islam dapat menerima beberapa budaya luar sebagai sebuah ungkapan sopan seperti salam, kontak pandang selama bicara, memberikan perhatian terhadap apa yang disampaikan lawan bicara. Namun di sisi lain, perbedaan juga tidak dapat dihindari, ketika terjadi interaksi sosial antara pemberi dan penerima, di mana dalam Islam baik pemberi dan penerima sebaiknya menggunakan tangan kanan bukan tangan kiri, sementara budaya Barat keduanya sama saja. Demikian pula terjadinya komunikasi, terutama persoalan jarak antara kedua pasang manusia yang sedang bercinta, bersentuhan dan segala sesuatu yang menjurus kepada sensitifitas seksual. Dalam kaitan ini, Islam memiliki aturan yang ketat menjaga manusia agar terhindar dari pola komunikasi yang tidak diijinkan oleh Allah.

Abstract

This type of research is included in the descriptive qualitative research using a research approach, namely the sociological approach. Furthermore, the data sources used are primary and secoondary data. For data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data management and analysis techniques go through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study are that there are two form of social empowerments activities for the community through investing in Bali cattle farm, namely in the institutional and economic fields by socializing and training to the community. The public”s perception of investing in Bali cattle farm is as a process of empowerment, has ecological and social impact, is participatory and a sustainable activity. The implications of this research are 1) There is a need to increase collaboration between the Pattappa Village government and the community for the smooth process of this livestock investment activity. This includes intense discussion for the smooth process of this carried out so that the social empowerment process can run well. 2) through this research, it is hoped that it will become a matter of concern for the local government and the community to continue synergizing in utilization of existing resources in Pattappa Village. In addition, the results of this study can be used as reference for students, especially those related to social empowerment and livestock investment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is 1) to describe the factors that encourage Muslim women to participate in supporting the family economy at Lambocca Market, Pajukukang District. 2) describe the results of Muslim women's participation in supporting the family economy at Lambocca Market, Pajukukang District, Bantaeng Regency. The type of research that researchers use is qualitative research. This research was conducted at Lambocca Market, Pajukukang District, Bantaeng Regency, whose address is Lambocca Hamlet, Biangkeke, Pajukukang District, Bantaeng Regency. This research uses a sociological approach. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis stages consist of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that 1) the factors that encourage Muslim women to participate in supporting the family economy at Lambocca Market, Pajukukang District, Bantaeng Regency, include family economy, education level, and number of family dependents. The difficulties that a working mother often faces include work problems, time management between work and the household, husband's support, and the presence of children. 2) the results of the participation of Muslim women in supporting the family economy at Lambocca Market, Pajukukang District have helped a lot to advance the family economy, including being able to meet daily needs, having savings and several investments such as houses, land and livestock. The implication of the research is that a woman is allowed to be a wives to work in the public sector, as long as this does not make them forget and neglect their role in maintaining religious, customary and moral norms, and can fulfill the requirements and ethics of wives who work outside the home. Then, future researchers should be able to look at the position and role of women (wives) from a different perspective, because in this research the authors only describe society's responses regarding the role of women.
