Abstract

Penelitian pengaruh pemberian limbah sereh wangi amoniasi sebagai pengganti sebagian pakan basal terhadap peforma domba ekor tipis jantan, dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 periode ulangan. Perlakuan A adalah tanpa adanya substitusi limbah sereh wangi amoniasi (0%), perlakuan B adanya substitusi limbah sereh wangi amoniasi (10%), perlakuan C adanya substitusi limbah sereh wangi amoniasi (20%), perlakuan D adanya substitusi limbah sereh wangi amoniasi (30%). Parameter yang diamati meliputi konsumsi bahan kering pakan, PBBH dan konversi pakan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa substitusi limbah sereh wangi amoniasi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P0.05) terhadap konsumsi BK, PBBH dan konversi pakan.Performance of Javanese thin-tailed Sheep Fed With Difference Percentage of Ammoniated Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus) Waste as Substitute for Partial Basal FeedResearch on the effect of giving ammoniated citronella waste as substitute of partial basal feed on the performance of Javanese thin-tailed sheep, was carried out using the Latin Square Longitudinal Design with 4 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment A was in the absence of ammoniated citronella waste (0%) substitution, treatment B was ammoniated citronella waste substitution (10%), treatment C was ammoniated citronella waste substitution (20%), treatment D was in the ammoniated citronella waste substitution (30%). The parameters observed included feed consumption, daily weight gain and feed conversion. The results showed that the ammoniated citronella waste substitution had no significant effect (P 0.05) on the consumption of dry weight, daily weight gain and feed conversion.
