Abstract

Keywords: Developmental Assessment, Early Childhood Education, Covid-19 Assessment of child development is very important to be carried out by a teacher. Through assessment the teacher can find out how far the child has achieved the development that he must have. The teacher conducts a developmental assessment by making observations of each child's activities, including behavior, facial expressions, and other activities carried out by children using various assessment techniques. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, learning was carried out from home, so that teachers had difficulty in assessing children's development. The study, entitled "Assessment of Early Childhood Development at Islamic Kindergarten of Baitusshalihin and Islamic Kindergarten of Permata Sunnah During the Covid-19 Pandemic" The issue  how to assess early childhood development at Islamic Kindergarten of Baitusshalihin and Islamic Kindergarten of Permata Sunnah during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the assessment of child development during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects of this study were 1 class B1 teacher and 4 parents of students at Islamic Kindergarten of Baitusshalihin, then 1 class B teacher (Usman Bin Affan) and 4 parents of students at Islamic Kindergarten of Permata Sunnah. This research method used qualitative methods and is described in descriptive narrative. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the assessment of early childhood development at Islamic Kindergarten of Baitusshalihin is carried out using the portfolio assessment method, while the assessment of early childhood development at Islamic Kindergarten of Permata Sunnah is carried out using observation, anecdotal notes and portfolio methods. Based on the results of this study, it shows that during the Covid-19 pandemic, it is not an obstacle for teachers to assess aspects of early childhood development. Abstrak. Penilaian perkembangan anak sangat penting dilakukan oleh seorang guru, karena melalui penilaian guru dapat mengetahui sejauhmana anak sudah mencapai perkembangan yang harus dimilikinya. Guru melakukan penilaian perkembangan dengan melakukan pengamatan/observasi terhadap setiap kegiatan anak baik tingkah laku, mimik wajah, dan kegiatan lain yang dilakukan oleh anak dengan menggunakan berbagai macam teknik penilaian. Namun selama pandemi Covid-19 pembelajaran dilakukan dari rumah sehingga guru mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan penilaian terhadap perkembangan anak. Penelitian yang berjudul “Penilaian Perkembangan Anak Usia Dini di TK IT Baitusshalihin dan TK IT Permata Sunnah Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19” ini mengangkat masalah bagaimana penilaian perkembangan anak usia dini di TK IT baitusshalihin dan TK IT permata sunnah pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penilaian perkembangan anak selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 orang guru kelas B1 dan 4 orangtua peserta didik di TK IT Baitusshalihin, selanjutnya 1 orang guru kelas B (Usman Bin Affan) dan 4 orangtua peserta didik di TK IT Permata Sunnah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan dijabarkan secara deskriptif naratif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian perkembangan anak usia dini di TK IT Baitusshalihin dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penilaian portofolio, sedangkan penilaian perkembangan anak usia dini di TK IT Permata Sunnah dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, catatan anekdot dan portofolio. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa selama masa pandemi Covid-19 tidak menjadi halangan bagi guru untuk melakukan penilaian terhadap aspek perkembangan anak usia dini. Kata Kunci : Penilaian Perkembangan, Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Covid-19
