Abstract

Small and Micro Enterprises (SME) are type of enterprises that can be carried out by the community to improve their welfare. The most in-demand enterprise of consumers is the food enterprise, one of which is Yuliwardi's Snack, which then chosen as the subject of this study. The challenge faced by enterprises is inconsistency of their sales records. This study aims to design a bookkeeping application that is needed by enterprises with an order-based sales system. The data were collected through semi-structured interview with the owner of this SME. Whereas the design analysis in this study was based on PIECES analysis in constructing a database design framework. The sales application was created using Microsoft Access 2013.  The design of the sales application program consisted of calculating sales orders, recapitulating daily and monthly sales values, and generating receipts in any sales transaction. In view of this, the benefit obtained by the enterprises was the efficiency of recording monthly sales.

Abstract

Abstrak: Industri Mikro dan Kecil (IMK) merupakan jenis usaha yang dapat dilakukan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan hidup. Bidang usaha yang paling banyak diminati masyarakat adalah usaha makanan, salah satunya usaha Yuliwardi’s Snack yang memiliki spesifikasi bahan baku berasal dari ubi jalar ungu. Tujuan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) pada usaha ini adalah (1) memberikan penguatan manajemen usaha, (2) memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan aplikasi sederhana pencatatan penjualan berbasis database dan menyusun sistem pencatatan keuangan sederhana berdasarkan SAK Entitas Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (EMKM), (3) meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra dalam pengelolaan keuangan dan pemasaran. (4) memberikan perbaikan pada peralatan produksi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan. Mitra kegiatan PKM berjumlah empat orang terdiri dari satu orang pemilik dan tiga orang tenaga kerja. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ditanggapi sangat baik bagi mitra karena dapat membantu peningkatan proses produksi, memiliki sistem pencatatan dan keuangan yang sudah tersistem dan memiliki kemasan produk yang telah berlabel. Umpan balik dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner kepada mitra. Seluruh mitra (100%) menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat membantu dalam peningkatan produktivitas usaha, mampu mempermudah pelaksanaan operasional usaha, sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan mitra saat ini dan mampu mendorong peningkatan usaha di masa yang akan datang. Abstract: Small and Micro Enterprises (SME) are type of enterprises that can be carried out by the community to improve their welfare. The most in-demand enterprise of consumers is the food enterprise, one of which is Yuliwardi's Snack where its raw materials are particularly derived from purple sweet potatoes. The aims of the Community Partnership Program (CPP) activities are (1) to reinforce the business management, (2) to provide training and support on simple sales recording applications based on database, and compile a simple financial record-keeping system based on Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (FAS MSMEs), (3) to enhance partner’s knowledge in financial management and marketing, and (4) to supply the maintenance on the production equipment. The method for the activities aforementioned was conducted in two ways, specifically, training and supporting. There are four people in total chosen as the partners in performing CPP activities consisting of one owner and three employees. The implementation of the activity was responded positively by partners as it can stimulate the increase on the production process, and to have a systematized recording and financial system, and to have labelized product packaging. Moreover, the feedback was done using questionnaires to partners. All partners (100%) stated that this activity is beneficial in escalating the enterprise productivity. Along with that, it also facilitates the implementation of enterprise operations that are in accordance with the needs of current partners, and is able to encourage enterprise improvement in the coming future.
