Abstract

The application of flipped classrooms-based M-learning media will make learning more planned and systematic. Therefore, students will be more enthusiastic and independent in the learning process. The study aims to design a flipped classrooms-based mobile learning media to teach optical physics and investigate its validity, effectiveness, and practicality. This study employed a research and development method, including defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Participants in this research were 25 students. Research instruments included expert validation sheets towards learning media developed, a test evaluation of learning results, student response questionnaires, and student activity observation sheets. The expert validation results were analyzed quantitatively and then interpreted to determine the learning media's feasibility. The test and questionnaire results were analyzed in descriptive statistics, while the observation data were analyzed qualitatively. The results reveal that the application of flipped classroom-based M-learning media in the Optical Physics course is categorized as valid, effective, and practical. Furthermore,  the application has a significant effect on student achievements, with a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. Finally, most students showed positive responses to the application.

Abstract

The number of positive confirmed COVID-19 cases in Indonesia continues to rise on a daily basis. A prediction model is required to examine and measure the current progression of positive verified COVID-19 instances and to anticipate these circumstances in the future. The goal of this research is to create a prediction application that uses a fuzzy time series approach as a prediction method and an average-based length algorithm as an interval length determinant. The effective interval length can have a greater impact on the prediction outcomes. The data for this study came from the COVID-19 task force's website, and it tracked the progression of positive confirmed COVID-19 cases from November 2020 to July 2021. The Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) is relatively little based on the findings of the prediction application performance. This can help the management unit make decisions by giving information and establishing policies relating to actual efforts to prepare for, plan for, prevent, and control the spread of COVID-19.

Abstract

The use of mobile devices is increasingly popular. Mobile devices are increasingly equipped with advanced hardware and software technology. With dynamic performance and practical on mobile devices can master the development of the world ICT industry (information and communication technology). Software has become one of the spearheads of mobile success device. The creation of application programs is an important breakthrough in mobile development device. Likewise, the development of the Polyclinic Mobile Application in lecturer research This beginner is to provide solutions to problems that exist at the polyclinic at environment of PT. Eka Sandang Duta Prima Semarang, which is not yet supported by ICT, so in providing health services to the community, workers who are less than optimal can resolved. In developing the Polyclinic Mobile Application, it is not only a registration feature only, but there are several other features that were developed such as; polyclinic profile, schedule practice, modern queuing system, recording medical records, view patient history, take notes medical action, noting the drug administered.

Abstract

Smart Home is one of the tools that is developed for ease of automation of smart home management from the start of address, security, comfort, savings, through automation with Android. In designing a micro home security system controller using raspberry pi 3 and Android smartphones that can reduce the number of criminal acts of burglary door. This tool consists of an electro magnetic door lock called a solenoid door lock. This solenoid key is placed on the door of the house for security. The design of this home door security system utilizes Raspberyy pi b + as a control device from near and far by utilizing the wifi network and sms gateway to control opening and closing the home door lock that is controlled via an android mobile. Through web bootstrap that will display the results captured by the camera to provide a home situation every time someone enters. This house door security system that has been successfully built and tested with the working principle if there is someone who forces or breaks the house door in a closed condition, the system will activate a warning or alarm by sounding the buzzer¸ because there is an LDR sensor connected to one switch connected to the solenoid key that results, if the key is opened with a security system then the LDR sensor will turn off and there will be no alarm, but if it is forced to break the LDR sensor will activate and read the movement of the door so that the reaction occurs and the buzzer alarm will sound. This security system is a solution to increase the level of home security ¸ besides this sophisticated system is very easy to use and integrated with android smartphonesKeywords: homer security; smart home; android; rasberryPI; LDR
